Scott was very responsive and helpful to the homebuying process. Kept us well-informed with all of the COVID-induced challenges to getting the home ready, and has come by after we moved in as well to check in.

Awful workmanship. The walls and windows are crooked and uneven. The cabinets and doors have chipped paint and scuff marks. Leftover grout on anywhere grout was used. Uneven light fixtures. Carpet already threading apart. Hole in my wall barely covered with some bad dry wall job and paint…ready to become a hole again. The list goes on and on…definitely NOT worth the price I paid. Contractors were quick to respond regarding my issues and said it would get taken care of but never heard from them again. Nice staff but that doesn’t do much for my overpriced disaster I now call home.

We purchased the model home in Glen Riddle and due to the unique nature of the property, it was difficult obtaining a mortgage through no fault of our own. The K Hovanian mortgage group failed to obtain a mortgage for us, but due to the determination of Mike K, our sales person, he was able to assist use with a mortgage company that could. We are very appreciative. We have yet to move into the property as is being used as the model with our permission.

Overall, Glen was great. He was very responsive to questions. However, extremely disappointment after closing to see problems with termites, appliances not working, toilets , shower not working, landscape plants, shrubs dying. Melissa in warranthy extremely good

Communication with us was great each step of the way. Was not originally planning to build new but very glad we did. Would recommend Khov to friends and family.

The process was so smooth. There were delays in the construction but the communication was always present.

Great customer service. All concerned were very helpful throughout the entire build process as well as after move-in.

So far so good. We’ve had a few issues as expected with new build. Items are being addressed in a reasonable timeframe and professionally.

My experience is cabinet are falling off hinges almost had a serious accident in my house cabinet above fell off almost hit my husband on head. Very cheap material I have bought twenty houses never experienced this bad quality.

Our home is beautiful however the final steps were very rushes to get it done on time. The drywall and paint is horrible. There was no QA/QC as we closed and they didn't fix the items that we pointed out at the pre-closing inspection. Now we have to deal with a drywall and paint in our house for three days after we have moved in. I hope we are the exception and not the norm as Khov came highly recommended. One shining star was our sales rep Allison!!! She was great in sending us pictures every week as our home was built and is just a sweetheart.

Nice and quiet neighborhood

My experience was overall great. There were a few times when material was delayed or no longer available due to being out of stock but Mike, my sales rep, kept me informed and made sure things continued with finding other options. Beau, who initially managed my construction, had moved to a different neighborhood, but Jacob eventually took over and saw it to then end making sure the schedule was followed as much as possible. Everybody worked hard to make sure I was satisfied with my home.

Decent homes, ease of buying

Tiffany and Heba in the office helped make my home buying experience a lot easier. The process itself can be stressful but they are AMAZING! Tiffany was there through the entire process and honestly was the reason I decided on K. Hovnanian as I was also considering a KB home. Customer service has been top notch.

There were no delays and we closed early. They answered our concerns and provided excellent customer service.

We have built from other contractors and had nightmares. our experience with K.Hovnanian was the extreme opposite. From the moment we met with Dodie, the company's First Face, to Robert the Foreman, to Jimmy, a contractor - we were pleased 100%.Each and every one knew the product, were extremely helpful and professional and we continue to interact with them after our move-in. We decided to finance with K.Hovnanian and were also pleased. Karie, our first contact, guided us through each step. Closing was smooth and seamless thanks to the closing agents. All in all we have had a very positive experience and highly recommend to anyone. Our community here at Waterstone is growing and so far we have met great people. The only negative is one that leads to the material side: As a woman I want things to match in the bathrooms and throughout; i.e., satin or shiny in all hardware - not mixed. A choice of appliance upgrades would be nice. The ones in the home are just ok and we replaced right away. Lastly are the front doors - they open out, not in. Unlike souther Florida, hat feature isn't required in this part of Florida so we would like at the very least to have had the option to open in as it is much more welcoming. ... More

My construction manager, Charlie, communicated with me throughout the building process and was quick to respond if I had any issue, even after I had moved in. The sales team in the office, Brenda and Lisa, were kind, friendly extremely competent, quick to help with questions or concerns.

I hear so many problems with new builds: shoddy construction, cheap materials, poor customer service, and awful service after you close. I experienced ZERO of these issues with KHovnanian. The company’s sales agent was wonderful. The on-site project manager was thorough and patiently answered ALL of my questions, which were many! I received a great interest rate through the builder’s mortgage company and closing took less than 20 minutes, because documents were shared in advance. The only challenge I experienced had nothing to do with KHov. The Dallas area (actually Texas) experienced a 100 freeze in February 2021 that delayed closing by 1 month. Otherwise, smooth process. I wish the builders would have completed corrections before closing

This is a terrible company, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking to purchase one of their homes or build one. Except for the sales team, the entire process was nothing but mistakes and excuses for why things were late or done incorrectly.

We were expecting a quality built home from K. Hovnanian but got just the opposite. The concrete porch, driveway and sidewalks are poorly finished. Our upgraded LVT flooring has paint has numerous areas of paint splatter and there are paint runs on the floor molding. The caulking work looks like a 10 year old did it, some interior doors are not level or square causing them to start closing on their own after they are opened, and the stone work on the fireplace and front exterior is extremely sloppy and poorly constructed. We have walls that are noticeably not square and areas where the drywall finish work is atrocious. We even have features that we were told we were getting and now they say we will not. ... More

I am happy with this builder. The team member here are friendly, easy to reach out and response prompts. The houses designed are beautiful.
