Builder did a great job!

Construction superivsor and the sales coordinator both were fantastic. They ensured all clarifications were addressed promptly and were available for support. Pricing information provided at the time of contract signing was transparent. Highly recommend the builder.

The home was completed on time even in theses chaotic times.

I don't expect a new build to be perfect and I'm glad the builder has been responsive. This is what has made my experience absolutely wonderful with K. Hovnanian. It was a new build of a planned subdivision, so the workmanship (precision) of the painting and sealing seems normal or average to what I have seen in the past (obvious brush strokes on floorboards, caulk an other stuff not removed from surfaces, and builder materials inhibiting drain closure on bathtubs). I would think for the price paid there could have been more attention to detail before I moved in. However, so far all items have been addressed and the builder (Grant) has been very prompt in doing so. Last new build I bought, the builder actually lived next to me, and I did not get the responsiveness that I would have liked. ... More

The overall experience was a great one. There are things that could be improved such as the quality of the drywall finishing. I’ve been in the house 2 weeks and already have cracked areas that I am submitting for warranty work.

Buying and building our home was awesome. James and Nia in the sales office did all they could to accommodate us and assist with the process. Once we did our last walk, some promises were made and, after we closed, they were never done. Our garage has a “crack” were the door and the wood connects. They promised to fix but after closing it became a “we don’t do that”. The house by our side was still being built when we closed and again it was promised that our lawn would be fixed and yard cleaned. Just a promise, never done. I feel great to be a part of KHOV. Loved the house quality/design that come with our homes. Only part i want KHOV to improve is about having better communication with buyers. When buying dreams(homes) buyers don't want to have false promises. Thank you.

A lot of features of the home are very good. The sales person, design consultant and superintendent were very personable and helpful. The home and materials were good but some of the workmanship is poor.

The sales office team is fantastic! Steve our construction manger was super easy to deal with and very easy to contact with questions and concerns along the way. Communication from the inhouse lender was a bit lackluster but once the process was rolling it was fairly smooth.

The Buying process was done all Virtually which was a bit scary as we could not see the home in person, K Hov and my realtor did and excellent job communicating with me and showing me as much as they possibly could. The home is beautiful almost meeting our “Dream home” we love everything about it. Their has been some issues with the build but the warranty team has been responsive maybe a little slower than expected. Overall me and wife are extremely happy with the home.

The sale consultant are nice.

We love our house. Very comfortable and spacious. Tyler was very friendly, professional and informative.

Make sure your organized and have all statements, bills, paystubs, W-2 ‘s, and important documents need for financing

Make sure they show you all options for upgrades. Don’t take no for an answer always push for what you want. If you see something that is not right speak up. Ask as many questions.

Beautiful house, well built. I bought one of the models, fully furnished, and all the extras. Love the house. Love the neighborhood with clubhouse, pool, and access to Red Mill Pond. Highly recommended builder and neighborhood. Had some issues with the dryer, which was not installed correctly, but a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

So far things are going well. Respond to complaints and issues are poor from builders and the office as a whole.

My home buying experience was okay overall. The sales agent was wonderful and really helped make the process smoother. My biggest regret is not getting a home inspector before purchasing. I felt rushed during my walkthrough and was told that any issues would be taken care of even after closing. Honestly, it’s been a bit of a challenge. They have addressed many of my concerns, but quite a few things have been put on the back burner because they say the home needs time to settle. Unfortunately, many of these issues were already there before I moved in, but I didn’t notice them at the time.

Pleasant home buying experience, however the quality of build is not like my previous townhome. Can hear almost every footstep from neighboring homes and every time a toilet is flushed or water is on, it is audible in my home. Also can hear neighbors voices through certain walls. Also drainage from gutter spills right into yard, making for moist ground and mosquitos.
