I am very happy with the process and outcome of this whole experience. My house is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. The only issue I have is the water pressure. It is not as strong as it should be. Was told to go to the County to get this reconciled.

This rating is ONLY for the Project Manager!!! The lenders were good as also.

I had a great experience building my home with Khov. Matt was very attentive and fixed any issues I saw immediately. I’ve been living in my home over a month and have no complaints. Quality seems to be great! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the mortgage team. I was not impressed and would never get my loan through them again.

I felt any additional upgrades was very expensive than current in the market. Example first floor Recess Light we added the KHOV package and it cost me $3670 and outside I finished second floor in $1100. You should offer competitive charges rather way expensive as your home buyer. Also , We found cracks in kitchen and upstairs. Overall home buyer experience was nice.

I have bought the house in Oct/24. Dennis sale man is very helpful, he sent a constructed update weekly, very quick response. Construction manager is also very helpful. Any question you asked have beed answerred very quick. The house is very nice and luxury design. Material is also with accepted quality.

Overall, great experience with the community.

The staff always answered my questions and were very helpful. I chose to finance with them and you may have more of a stressful time if your income is nonstandard. The only other thing I didn’t like was that I felt pressured to close by the end of the month, but I know each month costs money for somebody. Overall, I would not hesitate to do business with Khov again. The whole process was helpful and informative. Even after you purchase the house, they continue to check in through text or email to be sure that everything is going as expected. You don’t get that with a typical home purchase.

Jazmine was very helpful, although it’s not the same as having your own realtor that can be there 24/7. Overall I’m pleased with the experience. HOA not so much but I knew they had HOA so it’s on me.

Generally, a good experience. Building project manager and co-worker very responsive to questions and providing answers to questions. Having to travel from Fredericksburg, VA to Chantilly, VA to select specifice items for inside the house was not pleasant, and would have been more convenient if the same service were provided closer to the new community home site.

We are so excited for the new home. Great experience.

Location, location, location!!! They have always been the most important item when searching for and deciding on where to buy your primary residence. Next (in my opinion) are Construction Quality, Community Layout & Amenities, followed closely by Price Point / Perceived or Expected Value. Our experience with the K. Hovnanian Team was Excellent considering the important items mentioned above. My wife and I Highly Recommend K. Hovnanian builders and especially the Tower Hill community in Lewes, DE

We had a pretty nice experience throughout the home buying process, from the initial earnest payment, to the design choices, all the way to the final closing day. The people we interacted with throughout the process were very professional and knowledgeable about their respective work. The construction process however could be improved a little to be really great for the home buyer. For instance, our first builder representative resigned close to house completion, and although our second builder was great at picking up where the first builder left off (and even now still helps us with any issues the house has), it would've been great to stick with the same person the whole way through. The workmanship wasn't perfect, and we still found items that needed fixing even after closing, most of them were fairly minor (paint touch-up, missing caulking, etc.). But overall the main and important items such as insulation, electrical, plumbing, structure were constructed well and so far there hasn't been any problems after living in the house for a few months now. Overall our experience with both builder reps were excellent and helpful with getting any questions we had answered, or would at least get back to us with any questions they couldn't answer. We do believe that for the price we paid, the quality could've been a little better. The saving grace is the warranty that comes with the house so at least any issues found post-closing could be addressed through the warranty. In all, the overall experience was great. Just be sure to ask your builder rep as many questions as you can and don't be shy to voice something that you don't like, even if it's something minor. And if you're in a situation where construction is getting rushed right before closing day, be especially diligent with searching for any areas the building crew may have rushed through. Overall experience is great! The only thing that I would recommend is when you see your home buyer is older, it’s not their first go around with a home, so sending that checklist of “to do” items each month is a bit insulting..

Ismael went above and beyond to get us into our house as quickly as possible. Any issues that have come up since we moved in have been taken care of quickly.

Over all good experiences

Quality home with a good team to get it built and this sales team were extremely supportive to the buyer on tough times and rising interest rates.

KHOV lived up to their high reputation!

With exception of the challenges facing the entire construction industry; it is clear, like everyone, delay on the home delivery/closing and turn around communications was frustrating. But we are extremely pleased with the end product, the home quality is excellent, and the customer service follow up in addressing the issues has been wonderful. Special thanks to Dave, the Sales Associate for his patience in dealing with our numerous calls/emails complains of the delay and his support in working us through the process to completion. Also to the Finance team; Tammy, Jessica, Marica for their timely feedback in making sure we closed on scheduled. I'm sure, they certainly don't miss my numerous emails/phone calls inquiring about the raising interest rates, and when can I lock-in...?lol. Finally, Ed and Dar, the construction Team; walk through/follow-up details, and explanations to ensure we're completely satisfactory with the home quality and installs. K. Hovnanian’s sales agent was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They did a phenomenal job of completing my home as promised.

Love the house and the experience except the quality of lumber we got.

I’m happy with my Home and would recommend KHOV to anyone. Garrett their construction manager is amazing, he was great and honestly he is the main reason why I would recommend them.

Overall KHOV is a good builder

The home is wonderful. The initial construction lead was not forthcoming about timing delays. When he was replaced, everything seemed to get back on track.
