Rhonda and Jeremy are fantastic and went above and beyond in helping us. The quality of the home could be better. During the inspection the shower door was leaking water, mirrors weren't centered over the sinks in the bathroom, barn door was hung on the wrong side of the wall. The painters could of done a better job. We have to remove paint from the floor ourselves. The bath tub creaks when you stand in it. Jeremy has helped in resolving alot of these issues

First of all, we are enjoying our new home! We have recently had A/C issues and the warranty policy came through but, it took them a week to resolve the problem. And another issue is why would the builder install 24” doors going into the bathrooms? We also had a water leak issue at the water meter in which we had to hire a plumber to fix and turned requests for reimbursement along with video to water supply company and have not received any response! I would like to highlight the attitude of the staff towards customers when they first step into their office and treating them like poor given the home value the customer wants to buy vs what KHOV is offering in other communities at a higher place. I heard from many people in the community that they are also been treated like this. Of course the home values in certain areas are higher but that doesn’t mean the customers are treated like that. Definitely the attitude has to be changed either it’s KHOV or their front office staff. We are giving you the equal business as the same customer who buys a million dollar home. Thanks ... More

The homes are beautiful, but everything was built cheap. Materials under was the cheapest materials ever.

Our purchase experience and process of building was excellent. Since completion, we have had 2 issues that we cannot get KHov to respond to. One with our irrigation system and now with a failed inspection by the Lewes water department.

The actual home-buying process and the people involved at first were great. However, now that I have lived in the home for almost three months I am disappointed with a lot of elements of the home. The workmanship does not match the price tag. There have been many issues we've already had to address with the warranty department (Steven is amazing!!), and others that have not yet been resolved. The contractors they used for the concrete (CGI) were an absolute mess. I had workers yelling at me on my property for trying to access the home I was living in, as well as cracks in my driveway on brand-new concrete that had just been left by their team. Whoever painted the inside of the house did not show any attention to detail, there are many imperfections throughout this home. Running paint left dried bumps on the wall where it is visible to a person at eye level, how do they miss that? The carpet transitions are terrible, I step on metal all of the time. The cleanup crew was a mess, there are STILL pencil marks on the LVP flooring I am finding throughout the house. My front door is dented and still not fixed, my garage door makes grinding noises when it opens, and so much more. I was so pleased with the staff I worked with in buying the home, but the rest of the process has left a lot to be desired for a nearly 600k price tag. ... More

The quality of materials used for the price of the building is very cheap.

None of the issues identified during the walkthrough a week before closing have been addressed . Most of these issues are still not resolved 2 months after closing . Wish atleast a few were addressed

I bought my house from K Hovnanian in 7/2022. The process was easy and swift. Although a few minor paint and scuff flaws, the foundation of the house seems it was built to last. Sales and builder agents are responsive and helpful.

The build needs to be more through. We had to call for so many things in regards to paint, av not working, door bell not working after we moved in!!!

My home buying experience has been pretty easy with the folks at K. Hov. It helps when you have your items in line and can make the process smoother for all. All of those I encountered during this process were very communicative and polite. Given the times we are in, a little kindness goes a very long way. I owe a few folks a THANK YOU gift!!

Wonderful experience with the sales rep, Brandon. Who seemed to have to do everyone else’s job as well. Construction manager gives false hope. Overall, I love my home.

The Sales team members in our sales office are fantastic. As well as the Construction Manager. They were awesome to work with. In all honesty, I feel the over all community and surroundings could be improved especially with the high taxes that we have. It is surprising that my relatives in Cypress that live in the established neighborhood of Longwood pay over a thousand less in taxes a year. I thought with the trailer community across the road that our taxes would be reasonable and much less than they are. My urgent situation now is dealing with the warranty on our home. We already have a big issue with our roof and contacted the warranty company and they wanted an email. That was last week and we still have not heard back. This is concerning because we have ripples and concave spots in our roof. How can we get this taken care of timely? Especially if there is underlying damage? ... More

I wish that khov used better materials in their homes.

Quality of workmanship and materials is based on the several issues with ac unit not cooling, now that it is fixed, humming is heard onside garage from ac on other side of wall. Also, the shower upstairs only had hot water until fixed. The room floor is squeaky after a month and most likely not going to be repaired as i haven't heard anything after submitting a ticket; I havent even gotten a response on why it is or not covered by warranty, this the reason for a four star on responsiveness on issues. Value for the price was low because we locked in our house early then after all the house in the hightower estates community lowered the pri es about 25,000; khov refused the lower the price on ours; in my opinion this points to the value doesnt meet the price. ... During the sales process everything was amazing, the house itself is great. Now when it comes to getting things done and replaced. The representative for my community is not very communicative, says she will do something and doesn’t. Have talked to her several times and nothing gets done.

Sales consultant was very proficient. Convenient and cost effective environmental design. Materials are mid-level at the MIRs.

Quality of work for price of homes doesn't equal out, especially when getting appraised.

The walls catch every little thing. Not sure why they would use the paint they do but it’s maybe cost effective for them? I don’t know but I feel like they could put more quality products into their homes and make it worth the price

After sales support is not very good. I had tile from roof fall down into back yard, electrical outlets not working, master bedroom electric lights do or work unless you turn on bathroom lights. It Olga’s taken 4-5 weeks to even acknowledge these issues and they are still being scheduled

This builder is great, but the responsiveness on issues with this he home is not so good.

Be sure to make good notes i specifically asked for cement 10x10 to be done that way i dont do later on. Everyone seems to forget make sure old notes are matching with sales person!!!
