The sales person was sent from heaven! he was very pleasant, helpful, honest and comfortable to communicate with. He stayed connected with us throughout the process and was always very responsive even one time during his vacation with his family! Great value home. Other builders overpriced houses we looked at but I feel this one is just right. The use of the space and the practicality of use of the home is great. Exactly what we need. No more, no less. This builder found the best use of space design. We're very happy.

This experience was awesome and much better than my last home building experience with another company. There are only a couple things that I would change, but overall, very pleased..l

This experience is a journey, but one well worth it! If home percentage rates were locked in at the time of the deposit and not at the time of closing, it would be perfect! However, I’m still happy with the process… the entire KHOV team did a wonderful job! Thank you!

This is the second home I've built new through a national builder. No builder is perfect and every new build will have their issues. But, what started with great promise, ended with multiple settlement (non-Covid) delays, poor construction, and even worse quality control. Every builder is struggling with labor and supply shortages, but this development suffered from poor project management and ZERO acknowledgement of shortcomings from any senior management at KHOV. They should be ashamed how they treat customers. If you're considering purchasing a home from this builder, run, don't walk.

We had several minor things that need repair. We moved in July 20th and are still waiting to have these issues resolved. They are minor but it is aggravating that we can’t get someone to fix these small issues.

Tyler, Thank you for reaching out to us. The design options met our expectations. The follow through on the build and the attention to detail by the building team was better than expected. We had one item we were disappointed with (front skin on the island in the kitchen), but this is being resolved. However, we did have an issue with the completion time for the build of our home. Our original closing date was June 22nd. We do not live in Arizona yet, and scheduled travel for the walk through and closing. Two days prior to leaving for AZ, we were informed the closing would have to be moved out by three weeks because sign off was not obtained from the City of Cave Creek. We still traveled to AZ for the walk through, and noted the items needing correction. The reschedule of the closing caused problems for us in regard to rescheduling medical appointments and having to provide additional documentation to KHovnanian Mortgage. The aggravation resulting from additional documentation from your mortgage company was not appreciated. The mortgage company informed we would not be able to close on the new date due to an issue with Anne's short term disability extension. This was not an issue on the original closing date, but we were told there would be a $500 per day fee for every day past the second closing date. As a result, Anne had to return to work prior to her doctor's recommendation to satisfy the mortgage company. After satisfying the mortgage company to meet the closing date and to avoid the $500 per day fee fine, we received the new closing documents. When the closing documents were presented, we noted that we should not be charged the $175 for a mobile notary - this expense was caused by the build delay of not having sign offs in place prior to notifying us of the first closing date. After discussing this with your closing team we were provided new closing documents with the $175 fee being paid by the builder (copy of this is attached). Then, a third set of closing documents were sent to us with the fee again being charged to the buyer. We ended up paying the fee. To summarize, we are pleased with our home, but not pleased with our experience with your mortgage company. If we had to do this again, we would not use KHovnanian American Mortgage, nor recommend them to anyone. The $175 fee should be refunded to us. ... More

The sales reps and escrow teams were great

Since the move in date was pushed back from June 16th to July 22nd I rated the experience as 4 stars. The move in date was changed 3 times and I lost $3,000 due to the home not being available on July 22 because the flooring was not fixed and finally was ready on July 23rd. I lost the deposit on the movers and had to “rent back” my former home because of all of the delays.

Absolutely frustrated and disappointed with this builder. They are only good and helpful when trying to SELL you the property. After many phone calls and emails regarding missing upgrades (that I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR) and urgent service calls--broken dishwasher; stove hood and a clogged bathtub plus a long list of many more items--they still have not addressed any of these! There are other quality builders with great workmanship and most importantly SERVICE but this builder DOES NOT meet any of those requirements!

Karen was my sales agent. She is fantastic! Can’t say enough about the personable experience she created. The weekly progress photos were the best. The building manager, Matt gave weekly progress updates via text! I never had to inquire about the building stages. Great overall experience. Love Karen and Matt.

From the application process till your keys are handed out are very spot on. Grace, Amy and Steve was remarkable. They communicated with us very well and we are very pleased.

Good with progress updates but disappointed with some features and accessories of the house

Builder has great people

Sales team was great. We are still settling in, and there are a few things that need to be adjusted/fixed (uneven cabinets, shower doors, etc), and since the companies are not local to the city, it can take some time from the time you call until the appointment. The customer service from K. Hovnanian has been great, though.

Overall a very nice home. But the contractors that were used were complete trash. There are several issues with the home still that I’ve asked to be fixed even before closing that still have yet to be fixed. Brick issues, drywall issues, paint. The urgency to get these issues fixed is close to none. Am I overall happy with the home? Yes. Would I buy from Khov again? I don’t think so.

K. Hov went over and beyond to make sure my home was perfect. The process was a great experience. This is my first home here in the valley. The team was great, they helped me every step of the way.

We loved our new building experience with KHovnanian! The process was very smooth and extremely well communicated throughout the entire process. We loved the weekly updates and being able to communicate easily with the construction team and sales. We would absolutely recommend KHOV to all our family and friends.

There are some issues with the house faded paint, backyard outdoor light is not working and two bathroom air vent are not working properply.

I had a great overall customer experience with this home. The option package I chose ended up being absolutely stunning and the home is perfect for my every need. Couldn't be happier going with K. Hovnanian for my first home!

The whole buying experience through sales process through underwriting process along with final move-in state of craftsmanship of property is worst we have experienced. When we finally moved into new house, the craftsmanship of paint, cleaning, and high traffic area was neglected. This required us to continue chase construction management to improve quality of work. The white glove service for new home ownership was non-existent for luxury developer such as K Hovnanian as promised during initial Sales Process. This was one of our worst experience at buying new construction, which we still continue to face with getting things corrected as mentioned above. ... More

Get an inspection from an unbiased 3rd party and don't sign a single paper to close until all items are cleared and re inspected.

Pretty simple process. Would have liked visual updates sooner than i received but I’m very happy with things. We love our home.

Besides Covid Pandemic affects, I had good experience from first day I went to sales office to the finish.. the sale agent had good customer service, was patience, supportive, able to return my calls and keep me updated
