The sales and construction teams have been great, very responsive. Overall, I think the quality is good and the house is well built. More attention could be paid to the wood trim/final painting. Cabinets, countertops and flooring were all good.

Excellent experience overall. Sellers answer every phone call and answer all questions. House quality is great.

At first, I was apprehensive about buying from a builder. They seemed to hold all the cards. The initial sales pitch felt a bit like being at a car dealership, but once we progressed past that, and I started dealing with more of their team, I was very pleased at how thorough and organized they were, especially the loan officers and the person overseeing construction. I can't say enough about how Aaron made me feel like I could instantly trust him. He takes such pride in his work and craftsmanship, and he offered to follow up and help as I got moved in and maybe noticed some things. He was true to his word. When else do you get someone checking in on you after a sale like that? I'm very happy with my decision to purchase from K. Overall great experience while going thru a global pandemic! It wasn't perfect but most things aren't but we absolutely love our home and the cost is outstanding. This was our first new construction build and we definitely would do it again.

Great people just inspect good the home but otherwise very good.

Everyone has been great and very responsive. Home looks great, only complaint is there is grout that still needs to be cleaned around one of my bathrooms

The build quality is mostly good if not excellent. However, from day-1 we have to take care of some issues, including: 1. Vibrating A/C compressor. I am sure that it's defective but on top of that the whole unit was not "padded"...which translates to unpleasant vibration in the house (yes, the whole house). 2. "Bubbling" floors. You walk on a "cushion" in many areas of the house with manufactured hardwood. Maybe it's easy fix, maybe not if it requires floor disassembling. I have an "open ticket" with the flooring contractors to come and take a look. 3. Cheap bathroom fans. Very noisy...threw out existing ones and replaced them with $42 "Broan-NuTone QK60S" from Amazon. Takes 5 minutes to replace a fan. 4. Water heater stopped working after 10 days. Was fixed immediately by KHOV crew - THANK YOU!! ...some other minor things that aren't worth mentioning here, but definitely could've been easily addressed by the contractors during their "build process"...they knew that a towel hanger will collapse if done with a small sheetrock anchor...LOL Overall i am happy. I’ve purchased a KHov home before and the quality assurance on workmanship was lacking in comparison to my first home. Nevertheless, I’d buy another KHov home but I’d just micro-check everything.

First home purchase was a success

I purchased the WiFi extension package for my home. Thinking they would install everything needed. All they do is put a hole in the ceiling and a wire then tell you you have to hire somebody else to finish it. Everyone I call says the builder should have done this. They have no idea what this is.

We have been looking for a 3-2 Split and this model is a 4-2 Split with some nice features. The price point was right, and it was located in our target area, so it checked all the boxes!

The buying experience had mostly 5 star components along with a couple sub-par elements. Erika and Amy from Sales have been very helpful, even after the sale they continue to provide support. Tyson and Scott in Construction have been responsive and Alyssa in Customer Support is my best resource for getting issues resolved. Overall quality is typical for spec home ("fast") builders, highlighted by the design and energy efficiency features and degraded by corporate decisions that may make sense from KHOV's financial perspective but can leave lasting issues with the homeowner. Despite the few areas with issues, I love the house and greatly appreciate the value received for the price paid. Good job KHOV! ... More

The sales and PM on our home were great to work with. Both provided feedback in a timely manner. Our walk thru of the house was never rushed and very detailed. Even after several months in the house, the K Hov team remains friendly and attentive.

Overall, we’ve had a great experience through the initial home viewing to purchasing and now moved in. The quality is good and responses to a few issues have been timely with things being taken care of.

We love our new home. K hov uses high quality materials and it is a strong build. The map fit our needs perfectly. Rick and Keith were great but the people working for the contractors often do not follow through with instructions and there were several unfinished things even at the time of closing. I just wish they would refine the finishing touches without us having to ask so many times.

Every builder is, of course, at the mercy of the local trades; but what sets builders apart is how they fix and take care of issues with the build. KHOV does this. They take care of the issues/make sure they get taken care of, and are responsive and agreeable with regard to fixing the inevitable issues that arise from the local trades. Overall, a great home and a great builder.

The entire process from start to finish was tedious as far as getting all the required documentation but the staff was patient and helpful as far as guiding you in getting it done in a timely manner The home is simple but elegant with quality in mind. The team was always there for you to answer your questions in a timely manner. The builder did is best to offer you a beautiful home despite the higher home cost, climbing tax rate, shortage of materials needed and increase in labor cost

Both Ryan and Ben were great to work with! I felt like they were genuine and that they truly cared to help and answer my questions. Highly recommend both of them!

The khov folks did a great job of building our new home, keeping in touch with us, and made sure that everything went smoothly up to closing. It was done in a quite hassle-free and timely fashion. So, I am very happy with the experience.

Brandon was always extremely helpful and willing to answer all of my questions. He is friendly, knowledgeable and always approachable which I've appreciated. You guys need 1,000 Brandons! Unlike Dustin, my main contact who always made me feel like I was bothering him. To no surprise, he left the company and went into some sort of Construction endeavor if I remember correctly which is probably better suited for him. He should NOT be in any sort of Customer Service position. Don't get me wrong, he addressed things because I pushed for them but I could tell by our interactions that he was overwhelmed, over worked and pretty much hated his job. This is the first time my self or my wife have purchased a BRAND new home. We have owned 2 other homes but these were ''as is'' purchases. There are pros & cons to both. I will first say that K Hovnanian has obviously done a lot of work & put a ton of thought into making this process go as smooth as possible. And for the most part that is what we experienced. I would suggest that KH help NEW home buyers understand there is a pretty big difference if they've never purchased a NEW home. We would have made different choices in upgrades had we had a clearer understanding. After al the choices were made and we signed on the bottom line ( shocklingly stressful) the build was great, the sales people (Don) were on it, sending pictures, updates, calling and they finished ahead of schedule! Love that part. Then came the 'punch list' close. They were VERY thorough, covered everything. We could'nt wait to get moved in. We come to close day and the punch list isnt finished...but we're closing! We still closed ...my suggestion don't close until you are 100% satisfied...otherwise they get so busy moving on to the build of other homes you get forgotten ( or at least it felt that way) It is simply to difficult to pull a tradesperson off a build to fix a door or paint some trim...I get it. But it has not been fun since we closed trying to schedule these things, having to miss work , wait all day for someone to show ( or not) or have the wrong tools and have to reschedule it! We've been in nearly 4 months and still have things that need fixin. But that is part of the NEW home purchase. We love it. KHov is really a great company. There's always room for improvement, right. In my company, it gets chaoticly busy at times and the simple small details get overlooked. happens . Glad we made the decision to move here and use KHOV , bottomline 9.5/ 10 ... More

I was so excited in purchasing this home but wish I had a chance to decorate.

We were very pleased that the timing from purchase to move in was what they initially projected and pretty much flawless. We were pleased with our new home and the few concerns we had were handled in a relatively timely manner.
