Sedona model is best one to have more living space and great bedrooms

We had a very good overall experience with K. Hovnanian from sales through close.

Josue always rises to the occasion! Helped me with pipes last week - and Paul ( sales) called to see how things are going

Very pleased with condition of home and time spent on time going over the home. However move in date was changed multiple times which made our move from Texas much more stressful than we had hoped

Overall we love the floor plan we chose. The quality of the final touch ups on the paint are not that great. Also only one coast of paint seemed to be used so cleaning up marks on the walls do not go well. Working with most of the builder’s reps has gone ok with one exception. We were offered a refrigerator as an incentive and chose one, but a lesser price one was delivered.

Though we have owned several homes this was our first brand new home. It was completed almost 6 weeks ahead of schedule which we were not really prepared for but the home turned out beautifully. Unfortunately, accompanying services were not ready. We did not receive mail service, garbage pick up, and internet/TV service for 2 months after closing. Living without these amenities proved challenging and sometimes frustrating. Service from the recommended title company, Eastern National Title Agency, has been pitiful. Though we paid cash for the home, we still have not received a title or even a response from them after writing personally to Nelson G. If it wasn’t for the professionalism of your sales staff we would not be happy buyers of our 1st brand new home. ... More

Overall exciting process, would have preferred more options for fixtures, bathrooms, and appliances, decent value for the money regarding supply chain issues. A bring your own appliance would be nice.

I loved the follow up process from Ben, as each week went by. Some issues I discovered after closing. The whole house was painted with flat paint, I think it’s dumb. Second major issue, master bathroom light fixtures are all on one switch. That’s just not smart at all.

I had a good experience with the builder, but make sure you have them work closely with you as to when your new home will be available so as not to experience any unexpected or unannounced delays that could impact your planned move in. Additionally make sure you have any problems you encounter before and up to move in well documented by the builder so that you have a basis for follow up should the problem result in subsequent issues that need to be addressed and corrected. The builder's 1 year warranty is a welcome and helpful package to have.

Home buying process went well.

Waiting on my missing roof shinges to be put up. Interior issues also and no shower door.

The sales and construction team were the best, they were always responsive, resourceful, and available to help. The sales team made this experience smooth, providing the information needed and support in a very human and professional manner.

Fast process, love our new home.

The members at K.Hovnanian have been amazing. We are first time home buyers and they walked us through the entire process. They are trustworthy and thorough. The builders were also great and respond with diligence and promptness to any issues you may have with the build. I would 100% recommend K.Hovnanian to any future home buyers!

Our unit was delivered late due to multiple issues over the year e.g. getting the utilities run to the complex and bad weather. We love our new home but had issues with cleanliness, paint all over the floors, error in undercabinet lighting, and flooring workmanship. The team we worked directly with were/are responsive and it seems we are working through all the issues. We closed on Oct 30, 2022 and it is now Feb 7, 2023 with issues still pending. One issue is pretty big and requires the subflooring to be removed and a beam shaved down.

It has been a good experience. We have had some issues we’ve had to address but most have been taken care of. We would buy from Hovnanian again.

Overall we are pretty satisfied. But there has been some inconsistencies.

Working with Joe and James was a pleasure

The house was move in ready but there was a lot discrepancies that needed to be addressed. I felt unprepared when I moved in. It’s an information overload but also there is information that is never given. I was given answered to my questions in the moment only to find out they were wrong answers and made me feel lied to. The warranty person has been great. When I do have tickets they are handled immediately or I get a call immediately that it will be handled. I wish the builders took more care before we moved in so I didn’t have strangers in my house for warranty. It’s a huge stressor to me to find someone who can be here for it, or take time off to be home fortunately our warranty agent usually plans it all for the same day. Is it possible that if the builders took more caution it would have been done prior too. Some information I asked for the builders refused to give me. Information on what my electrical is rated and where the wires are were denied to me which is crazy because as I improve my house I don’t know what or where my electrical is. They also aren’t sure what the inside paint colors are for doors and baseboards. I would of liked all this in my email or printed information. The warranty agent has been very helpful, but I wish the builders either had more time, been more aware of the trades and their workmanship so I wouldn’t have to call warranty always. This is my first home purchase and our sales representative, Ashley was amazing. She really made the process as easy and painless as possible. My only grief is that there was multiple damages to the wood floors and overspill in many areas. Thankfully, they were quick to respond to repair these issues.

Our sales rep Danielle was great throughout the entire process she kept us up to date with what was going on every week with videos and pictures. The home is great, there’s a couple little things that we’ll be contacting the warranty department about but they are very minor. Overall we are very happy.

The sales person Todd Brewer is great and impressed by his professionalism and responsiveness. The construction manager Jeff is also vey easy to deal with. But the person, John, who led us for the Walkthrough was not much of a professional guy. He does not like to give answer to our questions. He behaves as if "I am gonna read these things that I prepared to read, you just shut up, and listen, and get done with it." I do not know how to deal with this person for the entire time of warranty. Unfortunately for me, he is THE contact person if anything happens during the warranty period. Sad!
