Over all its good, but construction team and quality needs to be improved. As they are reluctant to answer and timely work.

We purchased the model home in Glen Riddle and due to the unique nature of the property, it was difficult obtaining a mortgage through no fault of our own. The K Hovanian mortgage group failed to obtain a mortgage for us, but due to the determination of Mike K, our sales person, he was able to assist use with a mortgage company that could. We are very appreciative. We have yet to move into the property as is being used as the model with our permission.

I am happy with this builder. The team member here are friendly, easy to reach out and response prompts. The houses designed are beautiful.

Builder did honor contract price during a period of shortages and price increases. People were great to work with except for our contact at the design center who made some errors and refused to accept blame. That individual is no longer with the company, we understand. Once contract was signed there was no flexibility to change or modify anything . The house seems to be built well but I feel they undersized the heating and cooling system for a two story dwelling. Overall the house is enjoyable and modern and comfortable to live in. I do think that cramming a total of nine houses in a cul du sac has crowded the sight lines and curb appeal of our property that was not evident during the lot selection process. We also have some minor correcting issues and the fixing sub contractors have not shown up to make the corrections that were promised. We were so happy to find a house! The market became crazy and builders were taking advantage! KHOV helped us get into our brand new home without pushing up the cost unnecessarily and gave us a great timeline. They were done on time with no delays and kept us informed with photos and phone calls once a week We love our new community and our neighbors are great! Our house has tons of storage and our backyard has so much room we are putting in a pool! Thanks to KHOV and the people on site and in the office we have our brand new home!

Tyler, Thank you for reaching out to us. The design options met our expectations. The follow through on the build and the attention to detail by the building team was better than expected. We had one item we were disappointed with (front skin on the island in the kitchen), but this is being resolved. However, we did have an issue with the completion time for the build of our home. Our original closing date was June 22nd. We do not live in Arizona yet, and scheduled travel for the walk through and closing. Two days prior to leaving for AZ, we were informed the closing would have to be moved out by three weeks because sign off was not obtained from the City of Cave Creek. We still traveled to AZ for the walk through, and noted the items needing correction. The reschedule of the closing caused problems for us in regard to rescheduling medical appointments and having to provide additional documentation to KHovnanian Mortgage. The aggravation resulting from additional documentation from your mortgage company was not appreciated. The mortgage company informed we would not be able to close on the new date due to an issue with Anne's short term disability extension. This was not an issue on the original closing date, but we were told there would be a $500 per day fee for every day past the second closing date. As a result, Anne had to return to work prior to her doctor's recommendation to satisfy the mortgage company. After satisfying the mortgage company to meet the closing date and to avoid the $500 per day fee fine, we received the new closing documents. When the closing documents were presented, we noted that we should not be charged the $175 for a mobile notary - this expense was caused by the build delay of not having sign offs in place prior to notifying us of the first closing date. After discussing this with your closing team we were provided new closing documents with the $175 fee being paid by the builder (copy of this is attached). Then, a third set of closing documents were sent to us with the fee again being charged to the buyer. We ended up paying the fee. To summarize, we are pleased with our home, but not pleased with our experience with your mortgage company. If we had to do this again, we would not use KHovnanian American Mortgage, nor recommend them to anyone. The $175 fee should be refunded to us. ... More

Sales team was great. We are still settling in, and there are a few things that need to be adjusted/fixed (uneven cabinets, shower doors, etc), and since the companies are not local to the city, it can take some time from the time you call until the appointment. The customer service from K. Hovnanian has been great, though.

I had a great experience with this builder. I love my new home.

The design of the house is nicely done and the team, from the sales representative to the homeowner customer service workers, are very nice. The only thing I think it fell short was the interior painting.It should be done a better job. Overall, we are very happy with our new home.

Design process went smoothly, however always a few hiccups with new construction.

Overall we have been pleasantly surprised on the quality of the build and attention to detail. While there were some minor hiccups on several things, many were quickly addressed. Steve K was on many of these issues in a short period of time. Also, watching the different crews build some of the other houses was a real education, this KHOV neighborhood was a well oiled machine.

Brian is awesome so is Justin in the models New crew the new guy in charge of repairs and walk threw is awesome Lisa is awesome We had a ruff start but it’s much better now the crew is awesome and repairs are all being well addressed everyone is on point they have gone threw transfer of new employees but you are on point now great job to everyone thank you all

Very efficient home-building process. KHOV knows what they're doing!

We enjoyed working with the sales staff, they were very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that K-Hov did not honor their own Hometown Hero credit, that is why the lower score for Trustworthiness.

I really appreciated our sales agent, April. She worked for us daily and never brushed things under the rug. She was so patient with my million questions everyday! Every location needs an April!

The builder showed concern for our needs

Overall good experience. Would I purchase new construction in the future? Maybe not. There were a lot of cosmetic issues throughout the house that I feel were a result of rushed work. However that seems to be the nature of the game. For the price I think it was a great experience. Definitely recommend having a realtor and someone who understands the financial side, we did not have either and I feel like our experience suffered because of that. Overall I am very pleased with my new home.

Reggie, Kem and the lady in the office are wonderful. They are always available for their customers. I love it
