If you have a truck ensure your attempt to put it in the garage to see if it fits. This is something I didn’t do and wish I did. My truck doesn’t fit in my garage forcing me to park across the street

The construction manager was great! The sales practice and tactics need another look, but overall they came together in the end.

Constuction quality is good. Possible improvement in the refinement of structures. Scope for further improvement in surfacing soil before laying the lawn. Wood fence quality is average.

Patrick was prompt in responding to text and calls. Everyone involved in the closing was knowledgeable. The whole staff had a helpful and friendly attitude.

the house buying process was very smooth. The responses and feedback from the KHOV team was very satisfactory.

We recently bought our home in K HOV and I am writing this review a little after we did our closing. The experience so far has been little above good. There are a bunch of customization & selection that were allowed to be done but most of them comes as a package. The staff seems to be very experienced and the does a nice job almost every time. More often than not there are little to no follow ups. Overall if I see I would recommend KHOV

Our home is beautiful but there has been a lack of quality re-work on concern areas.

Builder was very helpful and responsive. Need to get option prices up front during the sales process.

Jeremy, Meredith and Nia were awesome and were always doing their best to find out the answers to our questions. They made us feel comfortable and talked us through the whole process as best as they could.

The sales team was outstanding to work with. If you use them as a lender, sometimes their are issues with communication with loan officers during the different stages of the loan process especially during the end of the company fiscal year (October). Overall, good experience.

It has been one month since we moved in. We had no major issue, except one week delay due to electricity permit from the town. K. Hovnanian paid for our hotel for that week. The house is beautiful, well done. After we moved in, we had our own inspector to do a report and it came back clean. Also, we had our home insurance sending their rep to check on the quality of the structure and windows and the same results – well built. The only branch that made us wonder was the Escrow Company. K. Hovnanian Homes are very nice homes, and Standford Park is a lovely area, near highway 75. As for the construction of the home, the builder and sales person's do a great job keeping you informed on the progress of the build. This was my second home purchase, and the KHOV team was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They answered every question i had truthfully and in a timely manner. What i wish i could have gotten is (1.) a bigger garage, 20' deep garages are not designed for the Texas truck driver. My full size truck will not fit in my garage, this leaves it open to the Texas weather. (2.)Also the options although good are somewhat limited, I understand the concerns of the seller, to not personalize the home before all the paperwork is signed, but there should be a few more interior and exterior options that can be added during the build, and not left to the buyer to do once the home is complete. (3.) and this is truly personal, is that the 14'x18' upstairs living area, is truly not 14'x18' when you include the stairway. All in all, we had a good experience purchasing our home. The sales staff was patient and took time to make sure we had all the information we needed. We were not expecting all the upgrade and add-on options, but felt we needed some to make the house more functional for us. The incentives they offered helped to keep the cost down. The design center experience was more then we expected. The base line finishes were not up to the standards we expected for this price point home so we spent more then we wanted to get higher quality finishes. Upgrades were very expensive by my standards and options were minimal within a given level of upgrade. Dealing with KHOV's financing group was very easy and they offered very good rates. The on-site warranty team was very responsive and took care of all our issues quickly. Penelope and Deborah could not have been more helpful during the construction phase and followed up in person on several occasions. I would do business with KHOV again. ... More

The loan processing was extraordinary.. But the final walkthrough of the house before closing was not upto the mark... all the issue pointed put during first walk through were not corrected and what was found was the blue tape was just removed and when finally asked they suggested we raise. Maintenance request to complete the issues.. which was not expected..construction supervisor need to take care of these issues for these issues for a better experience to new home owners

The entire process extremely pleasant. Carla and Josh in the sales office were very helpful and informative.

Was disappointed with texture and paint quality. Very happy with rest of construction.

House is great, but was not ready to move in yet. Everything from the quality inspection needed to be fixed still (touch up paint, shoe molding install, cabinet defects, door jambs not functional, final cleaning, counter top deficiency, air filter vents needed to be cut in). KHov has been great to work with us through the issues though, just slow. Now over two months into the home we are still scheduling fixes.

I'm very happy with my new home. It's my perfect retirement home!

My new home experience with K. Hovnanian has been positive for the most part. One notable item was the design process, I really loved the floor plans that were available and the Looks Interior choices, it made designing my home effortless. The location of Monarch Glen to the Georgetown-Lewes Trail, being tucked away from major roads, and close to beaches is what drew me here. The only downside is the mobile trailer park and some of the occupants on the other side of me. I wish I had known that there were issues over there as I would have selected a different lot. The overall workmanship and materials has been acceptable for the most part. After moving in I have noticed areas that could have been done better but what needed fixing inside the house has been addressed and fixed quickly. The sod is a different story. The yard has been dug up so much that it has destroyed my front yard. I was initially told that it would be replaced but that has not happened. I have since took matters into my own hands in an attempt to make the front look more appealing but there are still areas that need attention. Justin has been excellent in getting work scheduled under warranty no matter the scope of the job. It lends support to a large company like KHov, with many subcontractors, standing by the product they deliver.

We were in the market for a home. We considered resales and new builds. The rate buy down offers from new home builders were enticing but the troubles and poor quality we read about online for other builders had us on the fence of purchasing a new build. Still we decided to evaluate new builds because interest rates were high and new builds had concessions. We narrowed our search to 2 higher end new home builders. And then came across Khov as the 3rd and liked their floor plans, included features , and location. We bought a quick move in home. Overall, the house was built to spec. The build quality is on par with the other 2 builders we considered with some being better at Khov . The sales, closing, post sales warranty teams worked collaboratively with us. The post sale warranty issues have been resolved quickly. Fortunately all were cosmetic in nature. We’ve only been in the house for a few months, are happy with our purchase. Khov builds a better than average builder quality home and their team cares about making the home purchase experience pleasant for buyers. ... More

We love the floorplan and craftmanship. We have experienced a few issues so far, but submitting a ticket is easy via their portal and the team is very responsive. No major issues though. Some things could be improved or made easier (such as no bushes on sice of the house and room for trashcans) and common areas could be more neat as in more frequent lawn services, cover over mailbox and start a plan on playground pool or such. For the HOA fee we pay, we are not getting anything.
