The sales team was very helpful, but the finance team was another story. We had alot of back and forth which we have never had before in buying expierience. Maybe its just the times now?

My overall experience was really good. I looked at these homes for about a year before I purchased. Debbie was always so kind and upbeat each time she saw me. She kept me abreast of pricing and waitlists. I ended up buying a house bigger than the one I was initially looking at for cheaper! This was my first home so I really had no idea what all was involved, let alone going through the process of it being built. Shannon helped me SO much. She was available when I had questions or concerns. She was patient and explained things in layman's terms. She was the best. I do not think I would have been able to get through the process without her. The house has a few issues that have come up. Very small though. Cabinets are scratched, toilet seat cracked, chipped stucco, and shower door height being too short (I'm 5'9"). Nothing that could not be fixed though. They delivered earlier than expected.

Great experience- our first time building.

We are happy overall. Very pleased with the warranty representative. Not very happy with the sloppy painters as we continue to find and clean up paint on the floor and hardware. Thanks!

Good value, easy home buying process

Happy with my purchase, its way better than living in an apartment. My cats and I love the new home and all the space we have to roam around. I get compliments on the flower bed outside often and the location. I like being close to work as well as the airport. The KHOV family is always available to answer any questions I may have and has kept in touch with me to make sure things are going smooth and I am enjoying my new home. The process was pretty easy and still worth it despite current worldwide pandemic and issues. I am used to traveling and deploying so whether this is my forever home or not it is my permanent home as of right now. Love the neighbors, and quietness of the area, I will be happy when we start receiving mail from the post office so I wont have to make a trip. ... More

Check everything before you move in

AC unit too small for home.

Build and punch-list were not without issues, but the builder was very responsive. Overall I feel like we had far fewer issues than friends and relatives have had with other builders. Overall we are a satisfied customer, and have no regrets.

All in all, the process was really good and any bumps we experienced were managed satisfactorily.

Our home is immaculate, The site realtor Shauna and site manager Mike were fantastic, we appreciate all their help and insight, My only issue came with getting a loan officer to start the process. We were shuffled between three different loan officers and had two different loan processors. We are thankful for our home and I did refer my friend to Khov their new home build.

My fiancé and I love our new K Hov home. There are minor dings and dents around the home but this is normal across the board with any new or used home. Where the service is superb is with the warranty department. They have been excellent this far with fixing things in a timely manner. We will continue feedback thru the one year warranty period. The Dwight Street is a little low on light at night and I think it’s due to some of the lights in the road being off. Turning them on would be great to increase the safety of our Inspirado neighborhood. Another concern is that google maps doesn’t have our home listed correctly. Because of this, many of our packages have been delivered or delayed for weeks on end. Having the homes on Google maps should be done while the new homes are being built. Also, getting mail delivered has been a nightmare for us. Between my husband and I, we have called the post office so many times and nothing gets done. The post office says the mailman needs a master key to be able to open and deliver our mail but this has not happened and having the help of the builder to give them the master key would be great because we have not had a single piece of mail in over a month. Crazy to think that my personal information is floating around in space somewhere. Aside from these minor complaints that I wish to be heard and helped with, I would recommend this builder to my closest friends and family. Please help us K Hov. ... More

Nice location

We’re very pleased with our new home. There have been a few minor issues though KHov is on top of them and responds immediately. Everyone has been so nice and great to work with. Every step of the way they walk and guide you through everything. From the day we decided to buy the house through the day we closed they were there. Would definitely recommend and buy again from Khov. The quality of the products could be a little nicer though for the price we’re very happy with the final product.

I feel like the restrictions to the property are off putting.

K. Hovnanian team was very nice and helpful; the only issue was that the materials used for the cabinets and doors are not as high quality as i expected. Other than that, everything was fine.

We bought two houses at the same time and assisted by the sale agent who was excellent in customer services.Thank you very much to Paula for helping us from A-Z in the process of purchasing two houses that was not the simple task. We received the the first house lot 70 that looked good on the walk through and we were satisfied . On the second house lot 66 there were some issues of workmanship with a lot of things need to be redone.However the follow up team did well on fixing it and the house was in satisfied quality now. Thank you.

Very good and quick at replying to issues.

We are very happy with our purchase! No part of the process was mysterious and the communication was clear and effective.

This is the fifth house I have built and second with KHov. The first time the builder was a little more accommodating on a few little things like landscape and tree choices and location of them. Here we had no choice and the plants are not great quality and we will be replacing half of them. I am also concerned that one tree might be dead but will wait until spring to see how it comes back after the winter. We also bought our own kitchen pendant lights and the first builder installed them. On this home they wouldn’t. Overall these are minor things but it does affect the overall experience. However, we are happy with our new home and the build quality. There are a few minor issues we are still working on but they will be resolved. ... More

Great team to work with both sales and construction management. Issues were addressed and resolved quickly.
