The K Hov team is a great team to work with!

Pros: responsiveness of KHov staff, from seller/agent to builder to mortgage officers. Cons: unexpected delays due to weather and pandemic.

The Sales and Construction team was professional and responsive through the whole build process. They were very helpful and aligned with our needs perfectly.

Linda, is very easy to work with a true professional. Made the proccess real easy.

Even the standard home features were very nice! A pleasure to work with throughout the whole process.

From beginning to end, what an exciting experience and the final result is our new home is Immaculate!

Some of our lights have already gone out. So just make sure they are always off if not being used.

Great Company overall, would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new home!

I must first off give Michelle J her due, she made this experience very smooth. Initially I was not intending to buy a home so soon but she convinced me when I came for a community visit and I was glad that I did. I am impressed with the community, the quality of material and the options that were available. I initially had issues with contacting the builder but Michelle was always there to help. The little things like that are what made this experience an enjoyable one . I am so impressed that I am even deciding to buy a second home from Khov. In the dfw area, only a handful of builders can maintain the attention to details and quality like they do. Areas of improvement, would be after sales care, an information booklet like how do I contact my HOA etc... I felt the sales part was awesome but after care service...Not so much. We heard about these houses before they start last phase so we bought one of the first houses, they took 4 months to build the house. They work sooooo fast although the season was bad Nov-March they kept going. Are still few esthetics issues to fix but we called the warranty and they will do it :)

They made the home buying experience easy.

Everything was very well explained, from the initial questions until the closing. I totally recommend K Hovnanian Homes.

it been almost two months since i closed and i can't get them to finish the follow-up items they promised! the sales process is good and we had a very competent sales professional who i would rate very highly, but it all falls apart when you work the builder/foreman side, empty promises; ultimately you cannot trust them to deliver on their promises and the communication is terrible. still have not delivered after almost two months. I guess my next step is to contact my lawyer

Our sales person Elizabeth, was the best. She answered all our questions when needed. Whether it was by phone, email, or text. She always answered. She was always sending us updates about the build. These updates were videos and photos of the build. She made the process very easy and stress free. I would highly recommend a K Hov home to friends and family.

I am very unhappy with my new home. The sales rep Theory H. Was amazing but that’s where it stopped. The KHov design center is a joke. They send you to this big design center with tons of options except none of them are for you! I wanted simple upgrades and was told no we don’t offer that or no you can’t get that so I had to change out things once I closed. There are cheaper builders that offer way more options. The construction manager has not resolved issues that were brought up before closing over a month ago. They cut a strip out of my cabinet and glued it back together which has now come unglued in less than a month. The cabinet company said they would be out to fix it and did not show up on the appointment date. My backyard is a lake and I have told the construction manager multiple times about it and nothing has been done to correct it. Do not use their security company connect one they are misleading l wasted $600 on connections that were not completed as told and they will not fix the issue as they said “ I misunderstood” and it would be an additional $1500 to correct it. My dishwasher also doesn’t work and has standing water when turned on and Getting GE to come out and service it has been nothing but difficult. Customer service is absolutely horrible after closing. I was also not provided with a paint touch up kit and had to beg for weeks just to get an incomplete set. I would not recommend purchasing a KHov home to anyone in my family or friends. ... More
