Design process went smoothly, however always a few hiccups with new construction.

The home that was built is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. However, the process was overshadowed by the poor management in the sales office. The staff is not communicative about appropriate next steps in the building and closing process. The staff was not communicative to outside lenders and real estate professionals. The staff was downright rude in many circumstances and if my family had not invested so much time and money in the process, we would have walked away from the building process completely.

Leslye and Scott were fantastic to work with and were always flexible.

K hovnanian rejected my first attempt. I explained at length why They are easily the worst company I’ve ever encountered.

The whole process was easy, fun, and the people were great!

That it was an overall great experience! Katrina was detailed and engaged while George was personable,easy and such a great help. I truly appreciate all involved and am just grateful. Would I recommend kHovnanian? I surely will. Thanks for everything. My wife and I are well pleased!

Everyone from sales to construction manager and the lenders where always helpful and always answer my problems or questions very quickly. They all where great. Rick, Charlie, and Jodie.

My family and I had an amazing experience in purchasing our first house with K. Hovnanian Homes. From the sales staff to the builders team and everyone in between, we were provided with regular and consistent communication every step of the way. It was a seamless transition to our new home, our forever home.

Great Team i was able to contact them if i had any questions or they would contact me if there was any changes. Good experience.

I am so disappointed and disheartened with the Khov construction and customer service team. I purchased a home on February 26, 2021, when I took delivery of my home there was some small minor issues i.e. flickering undercabinet light in the kitchen , and paint touch ups that I was promised would be taken care of in a timely matter that worked around my schedule. Fast forward to today March 26th, I was forced to take time out of my work schedule to allow your teams/trades into my home to “fix” the issues that were already there before I took ownership; those issues have now been furthered as my normally neat and tidy home is neither of those or repaired properly. I was told the work would be competed between 12pm and 4pm, Fast forward to 440 when I witnessed a Sherwin-Williams painter painting one of my interior door is with a can of white spray paint; I politely told Juan I thought it was best that they leave today. After showing him all of the issues that were still in my home that were not attended to even though they had all thought they had been fixed he agreed that there was more damage to my home after they were leaving than there was before they got there. I feel as thought at this point I have done all I can on my end. I have allowed your teams into my home and personal space, and now not only do I have to vacuum mop, and dust everything, but now we have to schedule another time to let more trades in to fix the issues that were worsened today. I have lost time, money and patience, and will do so again when your team/ trades have to come back into my home. Issues; ACrattles, AC blows saw dust and particles out of vents, under cabinet lighting, multiple paint touch ups, broken blinds, doors with ruff patches and excessive over spray, paint drips on walls (4 foot area that is covered with paint drips), carpet bubbles, carpet seams, carpet coming apart at seems, dirty or moldy shower seams, stairwell banister cracking and breaking, scratches and chips in sink/ countertop. ... The home buying experience was amazing! Jennifer answered our questions and handled our concerns through out the whole buying/ building experience. If I were to move and buy another house I would definitely look up KHov!

I can honestly say that from the moment I met Tiffany I felt like my search for a home was over. She was terrific about explaining everything, patient ,extremely knowledgeable, and to her and Wendy's credit the customer service has not stopped just because i have assumed the house. They are right there to answer any questions that i still need answered. They are first class and if i were starting a business i would start my company with those two. thanks for everything.

The knowledge and experience of everything from the original purchase to the final walk though and after when certain matters had to be addressed.

The salesman was great and attentive as needed, the builder not so much. The work is so sloppy to say the least. Even with the walkthroughs pointing out as much as possible the repairs were also rushed and sloppy. Due to the winter storm my second walk through was the evening before my closing and you could tell the builder was not inclined to fixing all the flaws. We had been living with family for months and were ready to be back in our own space so we closed and I planned to tackle some of the flaws myself; however, DAILY I find more flaws. I love my home itself but the workmanship makes me soo upset every time I find something new. This is not my first home but my first new build and I believe for the price and the home being new the work SHOULD have been way better. Not to mention the materials are cheap the paint and caulking should not be cracking after a month! ... More

This our second home and this is the best experience buying the home and very good quality of the house for what we paid .

Our experience with K. Hovnanian homes was great! They were very helpful throughout the whole process and the builders were honest about delays and timelines and kept us in the loop the whole time. Very pleased with the whole process and especially the end result. We love our new home. Thank you!

Through a pandemic we were able to get our home built in a timely manner and the outcome is everything we wanted. Great company to entrust something so sacred. Thank you

Our family had a great experience from the minute we met our Sales Agent Kyle. He walked us through the entire process and was always professional and very efficient! We had to relocate from out of state and he helped make our relocation and the purchase of our new home effortless. I would highly recommend KHov and our sales agent Kyle!

It is a nice residential area. Great product. Only issue i have is the size of our ally way for garage and parking.

We love our new home; however communication could have been better and felt our concerns were brushed off. Paint on walls and wood trim SHOULD have been done better.

We put a deposit down on our hosue 6 months before it was built as soon as it was listed for sale. The intial incentive to buy was 15k, the first day we arrived, there where no Clairmont's available and we where told we would be notified when they would be ready. 3 days later we got the call and we put down the deposit right away, only to find out the 15k dropped to 10k and even though we where there with check book in hand 3 days prior and they didn't have the unit available that was posted online, they didn't honor the original incentive. Through out the process, they are no lists to tell you what is included in the standard price and what is an add on. Some items have signs but not all things. There where multiple things that were told to my wife and I that were included and then later told were not included and where extras including frameless shower doors in the farm house package and painted trim that was different that what is the actual color you get. We joined the face book page for the community and where terrified to read everyone's horror stories. We knew they were behind schedule because of covid and rushed through the build and lots of issues are coming up. We were forced to close even though our drive way is not paved, our street is not paved, there is no grass or landscaping. There have been a ton of minor issues and virtually impossible to get anyone to return a phone call let alone follow up with an issue. We were also assured that no construction vehicles would be allowed through the neighborhood and almost every morning we are woken up by tractors and giant machines that drive right down our street hauling dirt. It coves the streets and gets your car and shoes covered in mud. Our carpets are not installed properly, our stairs are not installed properly and make crazy creeks and cracks and our floors on the main level are so slanted that a ball rolls the second you put in on the floor. Fire place is uneven and unlevel. No water pressure in any of the showers. Garage and front entrance way was never cleaned before turn over and we were left to clean everything our selves. There is a hole in our front steps. Screens keep fall out of the windows. The electrical outlets keep tripping in the kitchen when you plug in a coffee maker or phone charger. Have to keep going to basement to reset the circuit breaker. Bottom line is the house is beautiful on line, and staged. However the I feel that the work was rushed and things were done cheaply and quickly. For 800K , the house should be in better condition and the level of follow up from K hov needs to get fixed. The entire community is talking about how they feel like the got the wool pulled over there eyes. ... More

Star ratings would be higher if KHov didn't use ESD for low voltage installation. ESD has abysmal correspondence. Also, if KHov drained downspouts into french drains, I would rate them higher. Sitting next to an American Legend home that uses french drains makes me feel bad, knowing that wasn't even an option. Speaking of, the lack of standard options and upgrades that KHov has is a little upsetting.

Khov is very responsive. Elizabeth our sales rep, was the best sales person I have ever had the pleasure to work with! We love our new khov home. Quality builder!
