Great Home, Great Construction Manager, They give 30 days after move in to see things that might have missed in walk through. That is Great , Love it

They are prompt and very helpful

Love the house, but disappointed with the design where the wall is behind the basement entry door. I cannot fit or take big furniture items down the stairs because the wall behind the basement entry does not allow maneuvering. If I had known I could not fit big furniture ( couch) down the basement. I would have added the walkout to the back yard as another option. This is critical to mention to new buyers!

I wish I could talk to someone who is a higher up in the company

Would buy from another builder. Very poor quality on workmanship and materials. Had several issues with home and refused to properly fix. They try to hide all issues and rig up repairs. 1-issue of many I just fixed on my own was had to re-level front yard. There were huge humps and holes in front and back yard. Took 8-wheelbarrows of trash, concrete and debris underneath grass; which caused all the grass to die. Can not install grass on trash. Cost me an additional 1500.00 extra out of pocket right after moving in. They don not fix or want to fix anything. Also they will not install grass in the back yard. Overall will never ever buy another house from K-HOV or recommend to anyone I know. ... More

Be cautiously aware that the administration side of this company is very unorganized and lacks proper communication.

I’m coming across many surfaces that aren’t level (fireplace mantle) or square (some walls and corners). I would have fought harder for a wider driveway and extra paved parking area. I had an issue with an exterior floodlight that never worked, turned out it was the bulbs. Something I feel should have been checked in their quality inspections. I discovered water dripping from the first floor to the ceiling. Turned out the refrigerator water line was not connected properly and the connecting nut was only finger tightened. Waiting for home owner services to come out and inspect for any damages. Drainage in my yard is horrible. Every time it rains, I end up with a large swampy area in my back yard. They had to rush towards the end to meet a closing deadline. Biggest help throughout was the on-site construction manager Blue. She is amazing and extremely helpful. ... More

Very upfront and trustworthy, takes the time to really understand needs and makes the process easy.

My overall experience when it came to the process was good. I was especially happy with the sales office and the agent working there as well as the mortgage/lender company! An absolute pleasure to work with and I could not be more happy with them! I'm disappointed with the workmanship of the home - particularly the paint job and the cabinetry. Extremely inconsistent (upstairs cabinets were nearly done perfect. The kitchen cabinets are terrible and done so sloppy) and found a lot of flaws and mistakes. Some that they are willing to fix and some that they wont.

The entire Khov staff were very professional and super responsive. Made the process easy.

Great first time home buyer experience with a great builder!

Khov home buying experience has been a smooth one, considering this was our first home purchase.

Check everything before commitment.

This was our first plunge into a new construction home purchase, and so I was a bit apprehensive early on. As the process moved along, however, my mind went to ease. There were definitely a few issues that popped up over the course of development/construction, but they were addressed promptly. I am mostly satisfied with the quality of materials used, but I believe there is room for improvement with the quality of trades work, particularly carpentry and plumbing. The Sales team members in our sales office are fantastic. As well as the Construction Manager. They were awesome to work with. In all honesty, I feel the over all community and surroundings could be improved especially with the high taxes that we have. It is surprising that my relatives in Cypress that live in the established neighborhood of Longwood pay over a thousand less in taxes a year. I thought with the trailer community across the road that our taxes would be reasonable and much less than they are. My urgent situation now is dealing with the warranty on our home. We already have a big issue with our roof and contacted the warranty company and they wanted an email. That was last week and we still have not heard back. This is concerning because we have ripples and concave spots in our roof. How can we get this taken care of timely? Especially if there is underlying damage? ... More

Our builder was great and approachable, he will address our concerns and queries. He work as part of the family making your new house a great place to live. Friends and families I will recommend to choose khovnanian homes and builder they are awesome.

Sparkey, our builder was fantastic. He communicated with us every Friday. He kept us updated on all work being done on our new home. He also was very responsive with any issues we had and answered all our questions thoroughly. Sparkey is a true asset to your company.

Explain clearly the pros and cons of using or not using a realtor, and that once the decision to or not use a realtor is made there is no option to change.

Builder did a great job, home well build and unique

The loan processors were persistent & professional. Closing was a breeze & my new home is beautiful!! Thank you Team!

KHOV does not allow future owner conduct professional inspection before closing. A red flag .They promise you one year warranty after the purchase; however, half of the issue they push it back as cosmetic. I hired a professional inspector after the closing, 55 pages report with pictures of findings. Some of those , according to the certified inspector, in violation of code . Some of the contractors do not respond for months.

When it was time to move to the next phase of the buying process, the person responsible for the step was prepared and took the steps necessary and prevented any lost time in the process.
