THE PROS KHov takes pride in their work and everyone that we've come into contact with at this company has been genuinely very nice people, and that has been the highlight of our experience. The onsite construction manager, Robert, has especially been quite amazing in helping us to handle minor issues that have come up. Every time I see him, he asks me how everything is going with the house and if I mention anything, he's quick to take a look and help where he can. The few times we needed to call in minor issues, it was taken care of very quickly and oddly (yes, it's very rare) all the workers were very nice people who cared. We're genuinely shocked by that, especially being here in Florida where most are very rude and often don't care. The oven is decent as well as the Microwave. Windows seem to be very nice and decent quality. Floors and carpet are done well and look very nice. All closet doors are real doors with door handles, which is a very nice feature of the home. It has 1" granite counters that look very nice in the kitchen. Garage door and opener are decent quality as well as the water irrigation system. Hurricane shutters came with the home and are in good order. Kitchen cabinets seem to be made with mid-grade to low quality materials, but we’re putting it in the pro category because they look superb and good quality hardware is used, like the long stainless steel handles and slow-close hinges. There was much kitchen cabinet space. The architecture is great, using the space well, creating closets and laundry room in logical locations and owners' closet is spacious. The landscaping, though simple, was very nice and 2 oak trees were planted in the back yard. THE CONS We wish the appliances were a little better, the Fridge was way too small and the dishwasher is so basic that it doesn't really clean the dishes. The faucets and shower heads are very basic, but work fine. House trim is basic. The paint seems to be very cheap; it looks good, but it damages or comes off easily. OVERALL EXPERIENCE Although there is a mix of good quality vs. low quality materials/appliances, we are overall very satisfied with the home and especially with the service. Robert has especially been extremely helpful, not only in helping us get issues taken care of, but he has even spent some time educating us about certain things of the house. He is the main reason we have been recommending KHOV to our friends and family and will continue to do so. I hope Khov is taking care of him, treating him as an essential part of their operation and recognizing how greatly his leadership contributes to their success. This is a production builder. The emphasis is creating a stream-lines process to build a home in the fastest time possible. That is a good thing, just know that the selections are extremely limited and once you have made your selections, there is no turning back.For the most part, employees were helpful and easy to work with. When adjustments and remediation were needed on the house, they were completed in a timely manner.

First time purchasing a brand new home so I can’t compare to past experience. With that being said I believe the K HOV experience was top notch 2nd to none the whole way through. We did have some issues with other areas not in anyway caused by K HOV but even then they offered help and anything they could do to help. Great company great home great employees. It has been a few weeks now since we’ve moved in and with every day that passes were more and more glad we went with K HOV vs a few other builders we had the option to use. Thanks again

We are happy overall. Very pleased with the warranty representative. Not very happy with the sloppy painters as we continue to find and clean up paint on the floor and hardware. Thanks!

I received outstanding service from beginning to end. I'm extremely impressed and pleased with my entire home purchase experience.

My wife and I were looking for a new home for a few months and weren't having any luck, until we saw that K. Hovnanian had opened up new lots in the area that we desired. The home building process was new to us, but K. Hov walked us through what to expect and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. Our sales representative and construction manager did a great job addressing our concerns and keeping us in the loop during the entire building process and afterwards. Any issues we had after the home was built and closed upon were addressed quickly and left us feeling satisfied. If we had to do this process all over again, we definitely would. It was a fun experience and we will definitely recommend K. Hovnanian to any of our friends or families looking to build or buy a house in the future! ... More

For the most part I am satisfied with our new home. The project managers and sales guys were the best part of this experience. They were easy to work with, responsive, helpful and very competent. The corporate side was not so good. They did not work with us on any small changes we wanted to make no matter it didn't effect the house. Very inflexible on just about everything. If it wasn't for the sales guys and PMs, we probably would have walked away from the house. The standard interior options they give are a joke. And upgrading anything is very expensive. Add to the misery, the upgrade options are limited. Best of a bad situation. You can choose the standard options if you want to live in a expensive low rate hotel room. They force you to upgrade everything to make your house look like the 600k house it is supposed to be. The paint is terrible quality. If you look at it wrong or think about touching it, it marks up and if you try to wipe it the paint comes off. The corporates would not let me buy better paint. Now to have have the interior repainted, on a brand new house, will cost 8k-10k. The driveway, though paved is insufficient unless you have only vehicle. We will see about the sod....they are replacing a significant portion right now. I dont know if the landscapers put much effort into the job. Throwing sod down and not preparing the ground seems a waste. It looks good just long enough to close. Again, the PMs and salesmen have worked hard to make right what issues I have had since closing and have gone out of there way in that regard. The 4 star rating is for them and them alone. ... More

The Team at Khovnanian made the experience from beginning of requesting information to closing an easy and wonderful experience. Every time I had a question or needed guidance they made themselves available. And the outstanding support continues after closing. Every step of the process, you are professionally taken off. The HOA manager quickly take care of any issues you have after closing. I’m so happy I finally decided on a KHovnanian home.

I would not build with K Hovanian. Did not consider this a best in class experience. Buying the largest floor plan they offer,i expected more than what was offered. It was after I started having issues that I went o line n saw the bad reviews. I should hv checked.

Debbie, our Sales Consultant was awesome. She was very responsive and answered all of our questions. She was with us at every step of our home buying process. Top notch customer service!

We are having many issues with the house and no clear direction from developer/builder how these will be resolved.. Just a painful situation for such a big investment

I love my new home. The quality to detail is excellent. I only had one thing that needed to be fixed during my walk-through. All the staff I worked with during the process of buying a new home have been the BEST! Always available to answer questions immediately. K. Hovnanian Homes is a top-notch builder.

From the well designed floorplans, creative finish options, craftsmanship, knowledgeable sales team and extraordinary construction managers and crew, we could not be happier with our new home! Can't say enough about Steve and Ben our construction managers and the amazing hands-on transition from their completion of construction to our taking possession of the house. They continue to impress! We are huge KHov fans!

Loved the sales process and the thoroughness of the sales team and the after sales service and support offered post the sales! So far we don't have complaints and are extremely happy with the support we are receiving from the staff - construction staff, maintenance staff! Would recommend friends to purchase here due to the location and our experience!

I Would recommend this builder, team and neighborhood to all my family and friends.
