Trying to sell one home in another state and running into issues, they were very understanding and worked with us. We love our home and neighborhood!

Our experience with K.Hov was okay. Nice staff. But lack responsiveness to issues In a timely manner.

The model home isn’t what you will get if you get what the model have for your home. We bought pretty much what the model home had and sure enough there are little things they didn’t add because it was just part of the model only. Something simple such as the cabinet crown molding off the kitchen (drop zone area) isn’t part of the price paid for- plus we upgraded the cabinets! There reply was the designers added that. Same goes with the master bath room walk in shower with the seat. The model home had the glass where the seating area in the shower. But when they build our bathroom- it’s not part of it- it’s part of the design for the model home. Really? It’s a misleading. The window added in the basement wasn’t included but it was an oops so they left the window there on the model but not for the new build homes. For our walk through I found blue tape and I asked about them. Reply back saying oh those are the stuff that needs to be looked at again and will fix. Well, when we moved into the house- I found at least 4 tapes that was still there which wasn’t taken care of. Yes we did a walk thru but these blue tapes were behind something that we wouldn’t be able to see unless open. One of them, it was so sharp I got cut on. It was a nail sticking out under the pantry from putting the cabinets together my husband said. The agent isn’t knowledgeable about what or how the house was going to sit until we meet up with the person building the home- this is when we already put a deposit down. The builder told us how our house was going to sit on the property we selected after went through the designer studio to pick out all our stuff for the house. We were unhappy and argue about this and nothing was done. Even with that agent told us a few things that would be included but end up having to pay more during the design studio. It’s upsetting to know when we walked in and asked the questions to know for sure what we will have to pay end up to be more than what being told. Overall experience with the agent would be one star and the building overall would be 4 stars because of how we end up meeting the builder after the designing studio was to late to change our lot at that time. Plus our deposit was already handed to them. Since this is a quick turn over few months to build. It’s not so great since the dry wall and the frame of walls are uneven. My husband put crown molding and added the blind for the room. It’s so uneven and large gaps. The blind is slanted and the blinds are put up correctly- the window was not properly level off. The walls were uneven but in waves. This is sad- what else we will find as we paint and add to put more value for the house. Overall experience with khov homes would be 2 out of 5 stars. ... More

Heba our sales consultant and Scott our warranty guy are both amazing. They made sure that all our needs are met. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable at our new home. They seem to pride themselves for what they do. Even the financial department they were all amazing people, they didn't give us a hard time and it was smooth sailing throughout the approval process. It was a pleasure working with them. We were fortunate to have this team working with us to help us get our dream house.

My husband and I had never heard of K. Hovnanian prior to finding our home. We were a little skeptical at first but after viewing the house and working with the sales team and builders, we were thoroughly impressed and pleased with our decision to buy. They were very supportive and attentive during the entire process and we are so pleased with our new home.

It's was streamlined, easy, fast and we'll done. Building our home was the best decision we ever made and K. Hov. made it easy. We love our home and everyone was really great to work with. From the local builder who is absolutely great to the finance people working on our loan everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The sales office team is fantastic! Steve our construction manger was super easy to deal with and very easy to contact with questions and concerns along the way. Communication from the inhouse lender was a bit lackluster but once the process was rolling it was fairly smooth.

A K. Hovnanian home is worth looking into.

I'm not even sure where to start. Our experience buying a K. Hovanian was nothing short or spectacular. From an always smiling sales agent willing to help us any time of day or evening, going through options to help tailor our chosen plan to best fit our needs, to our prompt construction manager replying to questions and concerns. Anything not exactly to our liking was quickly remedied. Our home inspector was also quite impressed with how well built the home was. We've been in the home for a little over a month, with absolutely zero issues. We couldn't be happier that we chose K. Hovanian as our builder! ... More

Great team from sales to construction team and its management.

The experience was positive for the most part , sales person was great and loan officer was great to work with, it was stressful at the end with closing and title company. Closing was also not very efficient . definitely these are the 2 areas needing improvement hence 4 stars...I would give it 5 if it was not so stressful and having to work with very un organize parties

The General Manager Christian was there to help us through ever flaw that we may have found in the house. He is definitely an asset to this company!
