Craftsmanship and quality from builder do not match price range for what house is worth. I've spent 280k on previous home in Clovis CA and everything about Wilson homes exceeded expectations. Insensitives from Wilson's where amazing and could not be beat. This new home is not worth the price we paid. I don't understand how I spent twice as much on this new home and it does not compete with the house previously purchased. After final walkthrough of home there are still several issues with washer, walls, cracks, glass, lights, and heating. Its very dificult to schedule to get issues fixed do to work schedule. ... More

After two full months in this house the floors have a bounce to them. Enough to have objects fall from a cabinet in a different room. There’s unfinished trim on cabinets. Light switches located behind doors. Questionable soundness of structure in exterior garage wall. I’ll assume the architect/designer does not live in one of these homes. I’m told the house needs to go through two seasonal changes. Time will tell.

My responses reflect the nature of construction and the workmanship provided. We have had numerous warranty issues and found multiple points of careless installation practices. If it wasn't for your sales team and their commitment to deliver on good customer service and product, much of our issues would have gone unaddressed with "canned" responses from our designated home warranties manager. The property was turned over to me with outside water drainage problems. I am not happy.

We had issues with the loan department and sending multiple documents. Seems that they were not communicating with each other. Sales representatives were always helpful. Electrical sockets in both bathrooms weren't tested prior to move in. So they didn't work. Walls needed repairs after the first month as you could see all the nicks, nails etc. The drywall is just painted over. Been here for 3 months and the refrigerator door handle came off. Maintenance requests submitted however, it takes a while for them to respond to them?

It is a great neighborhood. I wish they would have better customer service after you purchase the home. I moved in and noticed so many problems that I have not been receiving any help with. before purchasing the home I was very excited and loved the customer service but I guess that was just to get me to purchase the home. Now nothing but rude comments and no action.

Given dirty basement in a new house. Lot of mud in the basement. How can I write a good review?

Experience is not great. Not provided proper information during inspection and home walk-through. After closing, if I raise tickets, its taking lot of time to resolve the issues. Very poor to response time

We purchased our brand new home in March of 2024 and although we pay our full HOA dues, we have lived with mounds of dirt and dying landscaped trees for the past 4 months! We realize this was considered “Phase I”, and there would still be construction however, the horrible lack of landscape around our home doesn’t warrant us paying FULL HOA fees for services that clearly don’t align. We were told things by the sales team that turned out to be false and ended up costing us over $2,000 above and beyond what we expected to pay! As for the home itself - we love it! House was delayed 3 weeks, which was an issue for multiple reasons. 1) Almost no communication from the construction manager, and sales agent who promised us we would be taken care of since we were moving from out of state; 2) because of the delay, since we were moving from out of state we had to find lodging during the interim since we timed our previous home sale to the promised delivery date; and 3) previous house closed the Wed after Thanksgiving and the so called "Gold Key" turnover was on 21 Dec. As you can imagine there was not much time for a thorough inspection (not that it appeared the builder had done one) and we are still finding issues. The buying process with Khov should have been straightforward, but we faced several challenges. Our salesperson was not helpful, and the tight schedule made it difficult to thoroughly review the contract, closing details, and warranty information. There were discrepancies in the final delivery, and negotiation was off the table. The salesperson has since left the community, likely moving to another. Overall, it was a stressful and disappointing experience purchasing a new build with Khov."

Distinct lack of transparency when it came to final numbers for mortgage. Specifically mislead or omitted HOA payment increases scheduled but not disclosed. Back yard has tremendous amounts of construction debris that was never removed. I.e. brick concrete shingle parts Left with dead landscaping and trees that were incorrectly planted in front yard.

The paint jobs that they are putting on inside the house are so cheap that when you touch the walls you leave your fingerprints. The paint has been watered down and this has been told to me by professional painters. I have a wall in my house that’s 3/8 of an inch off from one end to the other. We will definitely see whether or not they take care of the problems that are in my New Home. They have been made aware of them and we’ll see where goes from there. As far as the salesman, he is outstanding, and I would write him a 10 every single time, he seems to be very caring and wanting to make sure that we are all happy with our homes. His name is Daniel and I’m able to talk with him at any time about any of the issues with my house. We used to have a warranty man named Randy, that was outstanding, and the young man that took his place. Just seems to want to brush you off and not move forward. We have ants and small flying insects in our house. I believe they are coming in where the calking is insufficient and under the baseboards. I told Nate about this and he gave us one ant trap. The inside doors have spaces on either side of them where the light comes through. I was told this was the way the doors are made. We've never been in a house where there were spaces like this. At least two months ago we told Ram that we needed better weather stripping under our front door as the light shines through and insects can come through and in the winter the cold air will come in. Nothing was done about it so I again went to Service 123 @ Khov. Kevin agreed that it needed fixing and requested that a door man come to fix it. He was supposed to come over a week ago and to date has not come. Nor has he called. We also have a problem with the plumbing in the guest bathroom. There is not enough pressure in the shower so water comes out slowly. The hotter the water, the less pressure. A plumber came to check it and put in a new shower head. That did not make a difference and since he came the water in the bathroom sink has much less pressure. It used to work great before he came. ... More

We have several warranty issues that have been issues since the day we moved in and have still not been resolved Our first warranty person was amazing but I do not know where she went. Her name was Skai I know we have been out on vacation but we told our warranty guy we had my 30 year old son staying at the house and still nothing has been done. We have a dishwasher that leaks water all over the house every time we run it. our HVAC sucks. Our countertops are still not been refinished. Our top stair needs to be refinished. There is wood stain spilled all over. The laminate wood flooring threshold’s are popping up. So definitely not a good quality for $1 million house. We were not given the option to purchase blinds as many of our neighbors were even when I asked our sales representative Kyle about it. It’s idiotic that you would put a clear glass window in a bathroom so that all the neighbors can just see you naked. This is the third house we built and fourth house we’ve owned and the worst quality. The landscaping you put in absolutely sucks. If you look at the Taylor Morrison homes, their landscaping is far superior and their house price point is a lot less. ... More

Overall the house is nice. Get into the details and its terrible they spoon feed you what you want to hear landscaping is trash. Many other problems if i didnt already put 10k towards the house i would have backed out due to lack of communication betwee khov employees and us yhe buyer

The buying experience was not too difficult. The end product is not up to the standards we expected. The paint is not the best and cannot be wiped clean. The flooring is nothing like what seems to have been promised or maybe all buyers were misled. The flooring is totally substandard. Throughout the living room and kitchen is inferior vinyl flooring that shows every nick and indentation once furniture is placed upon it. I believe we were all led (or misled) to believe that for the price Khov was charging, the flooring would be of a harder, more durable laminate plank flooring. That’s what should have been installed! The purchasing experience was great. The lack of follow through by the builder is horrible. Several issues hat were addressed in the walkthrough still have not be taken care of. Typical of any builder over promise, under deliver!!

The surrounding construction is horrible. I’ve experienced flat tires. There’s so much dust that I couldn’t walk my dog, needed a car wash weekly, and the house exterior is dusty. There were working trucks everywhere. Workers left garbage on the lawn and in my own garbage. The floors are not leveled in the Interior of my house. We have issues with flies coming into the house thru the basement. There are no mailboxes. I’ve been picking up my mail at the post office for over 3 months. We are not happy with our experience at enclave.

Such potential for a beautiful neighborhood. Total lack of oversight and management shows. Each khov person does what they want, says what they want. There is no cohesion to this process. We quickly learned the salesperson wasn't invested in the process once the purchase agreement was done so the buyer has no advocate. Quality of workmanship depends on who your construction manager is and if there is a change during the build. Love the location and we love our home, just have to know once you accept it, there's no QC, no warranty team, no HOA involved. They are ghosts. Paint workmanship is just awful, unacceptable. ... Many open items (some significant) at closing; HoSvc department has been and remains very slow to close same itesm, and now new service requests. Rear and side yards were not properly seeded and will likely not germinate in time for the temporary CO expiration in april 2023. Solution = sod??

Worst built home I’ve ever had and I’ve had 5 other new homes.

The home itself is very nice the neighborhood is nice but the people I had to deal with were disappointing and rude. No answers in timely manner, things that were done wrong or missed were always blamed on me the buyer for not answering the phone. When I’m face they hadn’t even tried to contact me. Last minute contact for many things. If you work or live out of town these people will say they contacted you but it’s most likely mismanagement on the builders part. So many things were just dropped on me last minute. This builder or their workers make you feel like they are doing you a favor. If I’m buying a $300,000+ house I expect a certain level of professionalism. I love my home but the experience with the builders employees was trash. ... More

As noted above, I submitted a list of problems nearly two weeks ago and only one has been addressed. One bath tub “barely” drains and is virtually unusable. Other than the bath tub and carpet damaged by what appears to be spilled paint with very poor cleanup.

So far been in our place for less then a month and already finding many flaws. Doors uneven and not closing properly. Cheap paint that are chipping, stucco not filled around the exterior light. With a bunch of excuses with why certain imperfections around a brand NEW HOUSE that was just built. At the end of the day you get what you paid for. Quick build with cheap products and materials. A few great folks and some that will provide great service and care. And some that will initially show that they care, but once you close and you receive the keys it's "slow" to resolve issues. Really sucks to feel this way, but as a first-time home owner this was a great accomplishment. Unfortunately, it has been disappointing to have problems arise less than a month in BRAND NEW-BUIT HOME! If you want more customized options and better quality in a home I would suggest looking at other builders. You may have to pay a little more, but it would be worth the extra cost. ... More
