We were fortunate to work with the best team Becky, Allen (Dave), Jeff and Everett! Becky made our dream come true of owning the home that we loved the most. Dave, Jeff and Everett made the whole process very smooth for us. Even after one month after closing, they are still available and in contact helping us with some minor things. The house so far is the best among the ones we looked at and owned. The plan and design and quality is very good! Thanks again to everyone we worked with.

The entire process was amazing and everyone that we dealt with was extremely professional, courteous & helpful. The home itself was very high quality with only 2-3 very minor issues that were quickly resolved. I would highly recommend buying a home from K Hovnanian!!

My family and I are very happy with our new home. We love the open floor plan and finally have enough room to relax.

My experience with Khov had been the most outstanding, stress-free, great customer services in all areas from day 1. This is from the time we first walked into the model home to when we got our gold keys. Steve, Zaira, Josh, and Ben were the ones I usually communicate to when I have questions or concerns. And they all did an outstanding, very excellent, above and beyond customer care. I never felt worried or have any doubts in their professionalism or expertise. This is our first home and I am very grateful to have met them and have done business with them. Thanks again for everything!!

Good house for the price, but we had to correct a number of errors they made during the building process. Luckily, we live nearby so we caught the problems and they were able to be fixed right away. If you stay on top of them, you should be happy with the final product.

From the beginning of the process, we were treated very kindly and every step of the way was explained in detail to us. All of our many questions were answered and having the online document processing made the whole process work much smoother. From the agent, to the loan manager, to the site superintendent, KHov was top notch and we are very happy with our new home. Would highly recommend KHov to anybody who is looking for a new home. Only the best.

Most of the process was smooth, and they have been responsive regarding the issues found, to a point. I am disappointed in the 10 day warranty they have. There have been several issues found after being in the home for 10 days like poor workmanship on the tile, a chip in the quartz countertop, marks on the tub, etc. When you move into a new home, there are many things going on, and you tend to miss stuff until things settle down. But after 10 days they don't allow you to report certain issues.

We ran into many issues with KHOV throughout the building process. To start, the sales rep that we had was very new and didn't really know what she was doing. Every question we asked was never able to be answered by her, she was always having to go to the senior sales rep which just prolonged the process and sometimes made things lost in translation. And when we asked to be changed to the senior rep so that we didn't have all this confusion, we were told we couldn't. Another big issue with a freshman sales rep was that she neglected to inform us that their "free incentives" were tied to using their lender. We didn't learn this information until after we had already signed paperwork to start building, and payed partial structural change cost and earnest money that we would have lost. The reason this was a big deal was because their lender wouldn't give us the going interest rate the day we locked in the financing. They quoted me a whole .5% higher. When we told them we would then use a different lender who could get me the true going rate, that's when they started informing me that I would lose the incentive cash, the money towards closing cost, and the title fee if I didn't go with them along with a $500 per day fee if we didn't close in time. When it came to the actual home building, they clearly use contractors that do not care one bit about this being someone's home. Every time we did a walkthrough, we would find issues that weren't there before, but some new craft came in and messed up already completed work. A lot of this stuff was fixed after the blue tape walkthrough, but added a lot more stress to the process than necessary. The tile work also was a big issue. We ended up finding 15 cracked tiles that got installed. All were clearly cracked in the same spot, but were installed anyway as if the people laying it never bothered to check over it. Then, on top of the grout lines being very thick and sloppy (outright missing in areas in the showers, uneven and dried on top on the floor tiles), they don't seal any of it. This may not seem like a big deal to everyone but when you have 2100sqft of tile throughout the house along with tiled showers and tub, mostly containing light colored tile, it really becomes one. All others I had talked to about their new homes by other builders said that all their tile came sealed already. It took 3 people, 8 hours, to do this before we could actually move stuff in. Other issues we had, some were fixed and some were missed but finding them along the way were, sloppy caulking inside and out, texturing issues, paint and texture on most of the electrical faceplates, uneven reveals on most of the door frames, hung our sliding barn doors very uneven, scratches on the garage doors, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting. We still are glad we bought this home because we love the location and the neighborhood, but like my review title states, I would not recommend KHOV to build your new home. ... More

The K. Hovnanian team are extremely helpful and provided necessary information from the start of my purchase process to the end. The met my needs and responded to my request promptly at all times. The quality of the building is top notch, I had great value for my investment and I was extremely confident and trusted my Sales Agent Theary. The team's level of professionalism is highly impressive.

Save your emails. Get your own home inspector. It never goes the way you expect it.

No spigot in the backyard. How are we to water our plants. Put the recycled water in the center of the walkway so we need to pay someone to fix it. Cheap paint that need to be upgraded, a lot of things offered by other housing developments not offered. People we complain to have to power to do anything their are held by what they say they can and can't do and that is to cheap out and tell the customer they can't do it. Think twice before purchasing a KHov house. People have written to the top and have been ignored. Google to see what I am talking about.

Reps were very helpful every step of the way. Very happy with the results and love the attention that was given to me to ensure that everything went nice and smooth. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Since the house sat unoccupied for a minute, the grass behind died. They replaced the back grass but didn't replace the grass infant and behind. House was fine but I moved in with horrible grass. Called and messaged the construction manager a couple of times after he promised to replace the side grass but hasn't. Even the front grass didn't look attractive at all. Now I am stuck with dead grass on the sides of my house and horrible grass in front. Sales guy was the best tho.

Construction manager was fantastic at communication, updates, photos and progress as house was being built! The sales staff was friendly until the contract was signed, then didnt seem to be as interested with customer anymore.
