Though there were some problems at move in, I love my new house. Unfortunately, there was a gas issue at closing. I called in a ticket, and the plumber came but was not able to find it. A month later I still smelled gas. A different plumber came who found the leak and replaced the piece that was defective. I'm glad the problem was solved, but disappointed the first visit did not resolve the problem.

Good experience overall, but somewhat major items were missed such as 2 ceiling fan rough-ins. Getting issues resolved after move in is slow.

I just moved in a brand new home. Can't walk around bare foot because you always step on nails from the carpet installation. There "lifetime flooring" has lifted like swollen pieces in every room. You can see the tapping all across the walls in every room. Everything from the fixtures to the wood fence outside is the cheapest material you can find. So if your trying to purchase new to avoid fixing things. This is not it.

The house is a great house. There are a few minor things that need to be looked at after a month in. The women in sales were great to work with. Financing was a nightmare. We had everything lined up with another financial group but got talked into using Khov for financing. That was a huge mistake. And to top it off they sold our loan to another company in the first two weeks.

We were a little hesitant to build due to hearing so many horror stories of others that have built with a variety of other companies but after doing our research we decided to go for it with K Hovnanian. From the very beginning we were taken care of and we had the best experience! Our Building Manager was AMAZING and warranty work is taken care of quickly and easily. Never thought building a home would go so smoothly and we would be so happy with the outcome.

Nia B. made the building process, so easy to understand. From the initial purchase, to the design and final move-in. Excellent communication skills and knowledgeable. Great asset to the company.

Honestly 1 major issue. Air conditioning is not acceptable. Specifically upstairs in home. I have had 3 visits. All come up with some explanations. And have been told unit is only “required” be 13 degrees below outside temperature. Well when it’s 95, 82 degrees inside a home is not ok. No one would buy a home with such a unit. Other homeowners have told us of same experience with AC unit. For this reason alone I am totally dissatisfied and would strongly persuade friends and family to avoid a khov home.

Happy with my home aside from some minor finishing details.

The contracted builder for this home was fantastic, however the mortgage side for this company is horrible. KHOV Mortgage forces buyers to use their own 3rd party resources. The company’s representatives do not respond or handle matters diligently. It is so hard and frustrating to get into contact with anyone in this company. Please do not use this company.

This is a company that lives up to its promise. From the first meeting with Ralph until my closing I felt that everyone wanted the best for me. K. Hovnanian Homes has been a god send. When I walked into the office and met Crystal, I had so many doubts and fears about buying a home on my own. When COVID-19 hit, I didn't know what to expect.. From the beginning Crystal has been such a joy to work with and has encouraged me every step of the way. When she introduced me to Alex, his encouraging smile and expertise on my home, made me know that I was working with a great team. The Buying process was done all Virtually which was a bit scary as we could not see the home in person, K Hov and my realtor did and excellent job communicating with me and showing me as much as they possibly could. The home is beautiful almost meeting our “Dream home” we love everything about it. Their has been some issues with the build but the warranty team has been responsive maybe a little slower than expected. Overall me and wife are extremely happy with the home.

From the sales lady to the closing of my house and everyone in between that I come in contact with went above and beyond to please me with all my requests. The nicest most trusted people in the industry.
