The company lied to us about drainage issues on the property from Day one and created a false appraisal of the new home, cheating out and lying to federal regulators.

So far, I've had no issues with the process of buying my K.Hov home. The builder and sales staff have been resourceful and prompt to any questions I might have. I don't have any issues thus far with craftsmanship and materials, but it's too early to tell. That said, I truly feel like I'm in a well-built house that will be everything I was looking for in the many years to come.

I wish that khov used better materials in their homes.

This was my first new build so I'm not sure what the norm is. With that said, I wasn't blown away with my experience. I'm happy with my home and I was pleased with the end result but it took a lot of back and forth to get it there. The most impressive part of the experience was after I closed. I had an emergency situation and Jay was there for me. That meant a lot. The only real negative was the preliminary final walk. I think we all learned from that experience. As the title stated, there's always room for improvement.

It has been a good experience from start to finish. Helen and team did a great job and I really appreciate the support I have received throughout the entire home buying experience.

Very friendly staff, especially Jordan and Adam. They have been extremely helpful through this process.

The construction manager was great! The sales practice and tactics need another look, but overall they came together in the end.

Everyone has been great and very responsive. Home looks great, only complaint is there is grout that still needs to be cleaned around one of my bathrooms

If anyone of my friends in Richmond ever needs a home, I am going to recommend this builder. I liked your professional work, immediate responses and overall knowledge. Five cheers to you!

Run around on getting issues corrected in a timely manner. If the home owner does not follow up multiple times nothing happens. Even then the odds of getting if fix are low. Half the time they pawn you off on the sub-contractors.

I must congratulate the K. Hovanian team on an excellent job in making my home buying experience pretty much unbelievable. As first time home buyers my wife and I were a bit worried about what the entire process would entail. Luckily we can state that the entire process went smoothly and only took about 4 weeks. The sales rep. Rebecca was awesome and the entire mortgage team of Jennifer & others did a great job processing the necessary paperwork. Salesman was not up front about easement or telephone wires, told me I could fit a pool but quotes from pool companies stated that I couldn’t due to size of easement.

After loving our first K.Hovnanian we decided to do it again after just 2 years. I do believe since we this development was near closing corners got cut and unfortunately Im not as pleased with the girst purchase. I would still recommend the builder but I'd love to see the same great workmanship be more consistant. Even with minor issues I still love my new home!!!

Good communication during the build process. Drastic change in customer service after closing. Very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend based on post close customer service alone.

We are still waiting for issues that need to be addressed from the initial walk-through and it’s been over a months sense because the house. New superintendent is contacting us and he seems like is Trying to address the issues that were promised to be fixed before closing. The hard wood floor and bath- kitchen cabinets still need to be fixed. The reason for giving bad reviews for workmanship is because I have to replace a door knob, have to paint almost 5 door because it’s pealing from the bottom( this was’nt addressed are the at the walk through, the metal overnight on the upstairs mirror was chipped which we saw on the closing day, all door frames are not sealed at the bottom, garage doesn’t have wall base we’re we found to mice and other pest, AC is making too much noice and toilet water supply lines from building is sticking out from wall(it not installed properly. ...
