Great staff from the sales office to the building crew. I would never finance through Khov ever again. Terrible experience with that side of the business! Submitted paperwork several times; always had to resubmit additional paperwork; staff doesn’t return calls or emails. Was a real pain to work through the financial portion of this transaction. Not worth it to use their financing-and our loan was sold to Chase Bank the day after we closed.

My experience with K. Hovnanian was exceptional. The experience from the initial sales visit to the mortgage process and with the builder was great. I experienced exceptional customer service at every step of the buying process.

Great experience and company.

Overall very happy with the house. Quality seems good and enough choices to let you customize layout. Positive-Lots of choices vs other builders, mechanicals very good quality, communication very good throughout Marlene(sales) and Chris(Construction lead), every issue throughout handled promptly, ahead of schedule completion, responsive after the sale. Negative-Somewhat strong armed into using K Hovnanian Mortgage, MDF molding should not be used its garbage and too easily damaged, pricing of some options very high.

KHOV has flipped the script on the traditional "horrible builder experience". From jack hammering up concrete to accommodate a floor outlet, to allowing last last minute design changes to even pet sitting during walk throughs KHOV has surpassed every expectation and more. THIS IS the builder to buy from without a doubt. A special shout out to Shane G for unsurpassed customer service in this process- it all started with him and he was consistent throughout the entire process.

Beyond satisfied with small issues that can get fixed

The team was friendly, knowledgeable, easy to reach, and responsive.

Sale center, design center, construction manager were all amazing and accommodating people. Pleasurable experience, too bad I can't buy another. 10/10 would recommend again.

Everyone was super helpful and when there were a few issues they jumped right on it. I would like to give a shout out to Beth and Orlando for always being on top of things.

I highly recommend this builder to anyone looking for a new home. The quality of workmanship is excellent. Steve and Melissa are great!

Excellent help through the process of becoming a new home owner

Great house at a good price

My husband and I were looking for home in Delaware for a long time. We knew that we wanted a new home and we knew the area we wanted to be near and we were working with a very specific budget. No matter how many homesites we visited, we consistently came back to K. Hovnanian Homes. We found a community and a home that was not only beautiful, but met our financial needs and allowed us to select from a range of options that would help us create a comfortable living space. When we found our townhouse in the "Retreat at Millstone," we truly felt that we were getting a gorgeous home and a great value for the budget we were working with. In addition to getting such a great new home, we were so fortunate to meet and work with wonderful people. The team at this development were awesome and they helped us through this entire process. It was a pleasure to work with them. We have an outstanding sales consultant in Devin, who supported us from the very beginning to ensure that we were happy and that all our questions and needs were met throughout the entire process. Devin always goes the extra mile to sure that everything is to your complete satisfaction. He helped us pick a homesite, think about possible interior options, and guided us through every step of the buying experience. Devin was always available to speak with us and answer all our questions. Terry, our design consultant, was instrumental in helping us customize our home and worked with us to select the most beautiful options, materials, and color scheme within our budget. She was amazing, talented and had such patience as she walked us through each and every option for our home. With her help, we created a warm and inviting atmosphere that is truly unique and exquisite. It was really awesome to have the opportunity to choose from so many options and so many price points. That was something that is unique to this builder. As our home construction began, we met Tom who was our Construction Manager. Tom was responsible for making sure that every detail in our home from the floorpan, the wiring, and installation of all the options were handled with care, respect, and integrity. Tom meets with you and facilitates a series of Gold-Key Walkthroughs where you go over every detail of the home building process and Tom makes sure that everything you select and everything you want is explicitly outlined for the construction teams and installers throughout the process. He checks everything thoroughly and if he sees anything that doesn't look right, he immediately takes action to resolve the issue. Tom does everything possible to make sure that your home is perfect. Even, after we closed on our home, we still have the complete support of Devin and Tom. Devin is always ready and willing to support and assist you to make sure that you feel completely satisfied with your home, that you feel good about your purchase and that you feel you have a quality living space. Devin is very professional and takes such a sincere interest in making sure any issues you have are resolved satisfactorily. It's really nice to know that you can reach out to a team of people after a purchase is completed and get things resolved in a timely manner and with ease. Tom has continued to work with us as well and has been supportive in explaining how everything works in your new home. Purchasing a new home can be a very stressful experience, and there are times when things just need to be adjusted, replaced, and fixed. However, we have a great team of people who are committed to ensure that all of our expectations are met. It is a pleasure to work with this organization and they have a good group of talented and knowledgeable professionals, looking after your interests. Our sales guy was so responsive and communicative every step of the way he really helped make us comfortable with this whole thing. Our build site manager is the sweetest guy on the planet you can really tell he just interested in making a quality home for the customers that they are happy with and will go above and beyond to make sure they're happy.

Our sales rep. (Rick) and our construction manager (Stevie) were both very involved with the construction of the home and responded to any questions or concerns that we have immediately. Both are extremely professional and it was a pleasure to work with them.

Worst home buying experience I have ever had, Who cares right? the house is sold. My keys to the home were left on my kitchen Island, The sales agent did not even have the decency to deliver the home keys personally, whether she liked me or not, it is the professional thing to do. I have already had the house torn apart due to a water leak, and who knows when the cabinets will be complete. I paid $81.00 with a receipt provided to one of the customer service managers named Jeff for an electrician to come in and deal with a bad arching outlet, I Truly was afraid of a house fire, Yeah Yeah we will deal with that and reimburse due to the potentially dangerous situation and arching outlet presents. Sales rep was fantastic. Job foreman was very knowledgeable overall. Dealing with Kham in Florida was both exasperating and exhausting. We are retired with more than enough funds available, however, the loan representative often did not return our calls. Up until the day before settlement we were still asked to send more documentation. After living in our new home for a month we are seeing alot of finished work on walls and trim wasn't the quality of work we expected for the amount of money we paid for our home. We would not recommend Khov homes.

I am very pleased with my house and your services

The current superintendent working for this company in this area is excellent. The title company and process for selling the home was distant and unwelcoming (not due to shelter in place). It was from an east coast company and took an unprecedented length of time to receive information from prior to closing.

Really enjoyed working with everyone from the sales office to the design center and especially Tom! Tom went above and beyond Our expectations. Very personable gentleman to work with. Thank you K hov for a great experience building our forever home :)

Caleb and Lou were so helpful through this whole process. This was our first experience buying a new home. We absolutely love the size of our community. Not too big and not too small. The location to amenities is perfect. Stores ,church, bank ,post office and beach.
