K. Hovnanian team was very nice and helpful; the only issue was that the materials used for the cabinets and doors are not as high quality as i expected. Other than that, everything was fine.

My wife and I had a great buying experience and found a great deal on the model home. Sale went smoothly but then we started to find all the poor quality materials in the house causing minor problems which we are now replacing/fixing. Replacing toilets, towel bars, floors are squeaking all throughout the house and have to run electric to the wet bar that has a mini fridge but no plug to power it under the bar.

Our experience with K. Hovnanian Homes was flawless from start to finish. We are beyond happy with the finished product and love our new home! The sale’s consultant was cheerful and kind. Our construction manager was incredible to work with; he is such a great guy! He took the time to communicate with us so that we were always up to speed and understood the timeline and process. He was very knowledgeable and always made our family feel like a priority. We feel like our house was built with quality materials by a thorough and hardworking team. The sales office representative (Shelby) at the Cambridge Heights community was extremely helpful throughout the entire process as I moved forward with the purchase of my new home. Also, Paul was very helpful during my initial and final walkthrough of the property. Paul was very responsive in making sure that all repairs were made in a timely manner prior to my closing date. K Hovnanian was the builder of the first home that I purchased in Texas . The quality of services remain very high!

On the sales side Nate was amazing! He was my go to throughout the whole ordeal. If ever there were questions, answered or did whatever in his power to find the answer. My family’s experience with The finance side would be rated 3 stars maybe less. There was a time we went 6 days without hearing anything back. Just because my family and I had a challenging file shouldn’t make us any less worthy of getting responded to in a timely fashion. I will say this. We truly appreciate Melissa for going above and beyond in getting us an approval. She helped to make our dreams come true. Whenever she had questions or a request for us, we got whatever she asked for within hours. On the other hand, when we had questions as far as wanting updates on the process, we’d at times wait anywhere from 24 hours to 72 hours. We were never told “hey you won’t hear from me in a couple days until (whatever reason). We were constantly left guessing. All of this while our lease was it March 1. Open until the week of closing we were in limbo and in the dark about the status of our loan. So you can imagine our frustration when we have to go to the sales rep to ask him to call Melissa for updates at times. What is it is a great person and was never rude to us. I’d say that that communication just needs to be better. John the builder was good and very helpful at the start of the process. I just wish he followed through to make sure everything was complete before we closed on our home. The cleaning person left a card saying the house was clean. That was not the case. We got our keys and opened the door for the first time expecting to see the perfection that John said would be there. The floors had white shoe prints all over it as if workers were doing stuff around the house and they never got back around to cleaning up the floor. This was weeks before the stay at home order. I informed John and he said that he would have someone come bye and clean the house. That never happened. John was very helpful in getting our air ducks looked at when the At&t technician spotted that one was loose. John was always good about responding to our texts within 24hours and that’s appreciated. I just wish there were consistent actions behind the responses (before the stay at home, order). The sheet rock people had us on the schedule but had to push back due to the coronavirus. That’s totally understandable. We have two lights that’s not fully attached to the ceiling and we’re nervous about them falling. We were told that we’d have to wait until the Coronavirus pandemic passes by. I totally get that, but the reason I mention it is because this was pointed out during the first walk through and again at the second walk through. It was suppose to be taken care of before we moved in. Now we’re in fear of the light falling on one of our children. Besides those mishaps that might have been out of John’s hands, we’ve had our overall good experience with you guys. I’m just a strong believer that companies can’t get better unless consumers are honest on these customer reviews. Needless to say, I hope no one gets in trouble behind this, but I hope there’s some type of training or education that comes after this, So that the next customer has nothing but great things to say about the KHavnanian experience. Hopefully those next customers are my in-laws. I talked about the homes so much that now they are interested in buying the house next-door. They are older and not as patient as I am, so I’m hoping these issues are fixed before they decide to buy a home with you guys. ... More

We are so happy with our new home. It is beautiful! Everyone involved in our purchase was very helpful and friendly. And a big thank you to our sales representative, Paula! She was always there for us to address any concerns or questions. We would definitely recomend K. Hovnanian Homes.

Anne H. at the sales office was wonderful to work with. The site supervisor "Steve" was also excellent to work with. He was very professional, knowledgeable and quick to respond.

Khov staff are very professional and caring. The homes are excellent quality. I was kept informed throughout the process. The main sales office staff are wonderful people. They are highly flexible and easy to get to know our wants and needs. The Construction Manager goes above and beyond just to make things right and very accommodating. They give us a heads up on what to expect now and later and what the final product will eventually look like so we're not emotionally exhausted in the process. It's a very comforting and exciting experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new construction home. The best part is meeting them and seeing their happy smiley faces knowing they're going to make you happy too. ... More

Joshua and Dianna were unfailingly helpful gracious and knowledgeable in helping us they the buying process. The most difficult for us was the remote mtg company as we are not very computer savvy and both of them guided us as much as they could.

Over all it was a great experience with khovanian builders, only thing I would say is I wish you could have a little more time to make changes. You always think of other things you would like to add or change and 7 days is not enough.

Buying our new home from k.Hovnanian was a great experience. Our salesperson gave us great advice. Picking our own style elements at the design gallery was challenging, but fun. Now that we have moved in the construction manager and Khov representative have responded to our questions or any concerns. We are very happy to be here!

KHOV and their team was AWESOME!!!! Me and my wife had a smooth experience in purchasing our first home together. KHOV provided detailed information from the very beginning, from selecting the floor plan, ground breaking, design center, pre-drywall meetings to the closing date. Home buying can be a frightening experience, but THANKS! KHOV for being apart of our MIRACLE and making our home purchase a PEACEFUL and JOYFUL one.

Our project managers made this a negative experience. Issues came up and it took longer than expected for them to be resolved. It was clear that nobody checked the work before our walk through because we had to point out major and minor issues, I thought that was there job and we were supposed to walk through to make sure everything looked good. One major issue is our garage door wouldn’t shut all the way and did not open or close properly and this was brushed off that it was fine. We weren’t able to use the hand rail on the stairs without it giving us splinters it was so rough. The stone on the fireplace was not finished. Our front door did not open or close properly. I also don’t think it should be the homeowners job to inspect every single room for paint mistakes and every single window to make sure they open easily. Issues were also brought up at the walk through that either weren’t addressed or they were addressed after we moved in. We were also told a cleaning crew had been in even though the floors were covered in dirt. My husband was told in person we received a new furnace filter but the one we have was never replaced with a new one prior to moving in (still hasn’t been replaced). On top of that after we moved in it took them about two weeks to move a portapotty off of our property. I had brought this up to them about a week after moving in and it took multiple texts asking it for it to be moved before anything was actually done. Our managers could have easily moved this themselves after being told once since they walk past it everyday, but a few weeks went by before moving it 10 feet across the street. Pleased with our home, but not pleased by the way these mangers blew concerns off they were advised of and the lack of care they had. hopefully they learn how to prepare future homes before a walk thru and cater to the buyer considering how much money were all spending on these homes. ... Super easy process. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of buying/buiding the home. My wife and I bought the first home we visited.

We are loving the staff here. They go out of their way and it makes us feel wonderful in our new home.

We have been so happy and impressed by our Home Builder, KHOV!! I will never forget the first time we walked into the KHOV office in Haslet and was greeted by Jordan! Our time line was at least 8-10 months but he sold us on the house the very first day. Our goal was of course to "shop" around but we didn't have to...we were so impressed with Jordan's passion that we didn't have to look anywhere else! His knowledge, passion and friendliness is what sold us! We are so glad we walked into the KHOV office first!! We have been impressed with KHOV from start to finish!! The weekly updates on the process of the home while it was being built was something we did not expect! We could not believe they would take the time to share every detail of the building process.
