K. Hovnanian® Homes Reviews

Over all it was a great experience with khovanian builders, only thing I would say is I wish you could have a little more time to make changes. You always think of other things you would like to add or change and 7 days is not enough.

Buying our new home from k.Hovnanian was a great experience. Our salesperson gave us great advice. Picking our own style elements at the design gallery was challenging, but fun. Now that we have moved in the construction manager and Khov representative have responded to our questions or any concerns. We are very happy to be here!

KHOV and their team was AWESOME!!!! Me and my wife had a smooth experience in purchasing our first home together. KHOV provided detailed information from the very beginning, from selecting the floor plan, ground breaking, design center, pre-drywall meetings to the closing date. Home buying can be a frightening experience, but THANKS! KHOV for being apart of our MIRACLE and making our home purchase a PEACEFUL and JOYFUL one.

We love our community so peaceful

Our project managers made this a negative experience. Issues came up and it took longer than expected for them to be resolved. It was clear that nobody checked the work before our walk through because we had to point out major and minor issues, I thought that was there job and we were supposed to walk through to make sure everything looked good. One major issue is our garage door wouldn’t shut all the way and did not open or close properly and this was brushed off that it was fine. We weren’t able to use the hand rail on the stairs without it giving us splinters it was so rough. The stone on the fireplace was not finished. Our front door did not open or close properly. I also don’t think it should be the homeowners job to inspect every single room for paint mistakes and every single window to make sure they open easily. Issues were also brought up at the walk through that either weren’t addressed or they were addressed after we moved in. We were also told a cleaning crew had been in even though the floors were covered in dirt. My husband was told in person we received a new furnace filter but the one we have was never replaced with a new one prior to moving in (still hasn’t been replaced). On top of that after we moved in it took them about two weeks to move a portapotty off of our property. I had brought this up to them about a week after moving in and it took multiple texts asking it for it to be moved before anything was actually done. Our managers could have easily moved this themselves after being told once since they walk past it everyday, but a few weeks went by before moving it 10 feet across the street. Pleased with our home, but not pleased by the way these mangers blew concerns off they were advised of and the lack of care they had. hopefully they learn how to prepare future homes before a walk thru and cater to the buyer considering how much money were all spending on these homes. ... Sales Person/Manager and construction Manager they are very helpful, friendly.

Super easy process. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of buying/buiding the home. My wife and I bought the first home we visited.

We are loving the staff here. They go out of their way and it makes us feel wonderful in our new home.

We have been so happy and impressed by our Home Builder, KHOV!! I will never forget the first time we walked into the KHOV office in Haslet and was greeted by Jordan! Our time line was at least 8-10 months but he sold us on the house the very first day. Our goal was of course to "shop" around but we didn't have to...we were so impressed with Jordan's passion that we didn't have to look anywhere else! His knowledge, passion and friendliness is what sold us! We are so glad we walked into the KHOV office first!! We have been impressed with KHOV from start to finish!! The weekly updates on the process of the home while it was being built was something we did not expect! We could not believe they would take the time to share every detail of the building process. Thank you Jordan and KHOV for a wonderful experience! ... More

Flooded back yard, still not fixed after 2 visits. Poor cabinets installation and finish trim carpentry. Home was not even given a thorough cleaning 4 delivery. Overall poor layout and. As I was told "these are homes for the low end buyers", 1/4 of a million is not low end, and really expensive quality/value even in this over inflated market, 2008 all over again !!

We love our house. Very comfortable and spacious. Tyler was very friendly, professional and informative.

Had a wonderful experience irking with Meredith and Jeremy. Thank you!

Overall, we are very pleased with our Seabrook property. Our sales representative was conscientious and helpful, and we ended up with a great looking house. He was also diligent in following up to ensure we were not encountering problems. The construction manager was extremely thorough during the walk through process and quick to respond to any issues that arose. The only rough spot was the trip to the design center, which did not go smoothly. All in all, we're happy customers.

Don't be afraid to ask questions the construction managers (Kirk) will make sure that it gets taken care of.

Sloppy. Light switches not level.

Patrick was prompt in responding to text and calls. Everyone involved in the closing was knowledgeable. The whole staff had a helpful and friendly attitude.

This is our first time building and it was a dream. Between the team and the quality of the hone, I’ve been recommending k.hov to everyone.

We are overall very satisfied with our new home built by K. Hovnanian. There were a few bumps in the road - as expected with any new home build but the response time, solution, and quality we received from the team at K-Hov made it all worth it. We love our new home and would highly recommend K. Hovnanian.

Just make sure to tour your potential home during as many hours of the day, to ensure lighting and heat.

Overall good. Just had issue with what I thought I was getting, and it ended up being totally different. The issue was resolved but only because we were consistent in what we expected.

I have bought many new homes over the years and I would say this was the best experience. During the last two months of construction I received either weekly or every other week, an update from the head foreman ,via text, on the progress and often he included pictures. It was also the cleanest walk through ever. There were only a few things that I saw needing very minor attention and it was done within 24 hours.

Awesome customer service, people and a great finished product.

Everyone was great at keeping me informed and taking the time to answer all questions. Jenny in the sales office was the best! I am very happy with my home. The process was easy and fast. Thank you!

K Hovnanian has the utmost professional team members! Their quality of work is worthy of 5 stars. I am thankful for the team members who were essential during our home buying process. We are thankful that we chose K Hovnanian as our builder!
