Getting into the house was painless. Overall build seems good. I’ve only had a few small issues which were taken very quickly. Love the new house

I had a terrible experience with KHovnanian Homes, starting from the sales process all the way to the construction and post moving-in to the home. The sales team was terrible, unexperienced and unresponsive, and despite multiple attempts to get updates, resolutions, the sales manager never got in touch, never replied on emails and never talked on phone and sales associate said "there's nothing to talk". The entire process was frustrating and unorganized, no proper documentation was collected prior to the contract and after contract they were un-responsive. Beyond that, the construction quality is not up to par. There were noticeable issues that were not found during engineer's inspection. Things like, bad and no caulking, outlets not secured, nails on carpets. I expected much better for the price and regret choosing KHovnanian Homes. I had a great experience with the entire process. Everything was communicated well, all issues were fixed prior to closing. Having a great project manager on site makes a huge difference!

Great experience overall. Sales person was super helpful and guided on each and every step. Proper communication throughout every process. After I received the keys and moved into the new home, home owner service provided immediate resolution to any issues or concerns

Everyone on the team from sales to construction were friendly and knowledgeable. They made the home buying experience smooth and exciting.

There were many positive elements of working with this group. In particular I loved getting weekly photos of the progress. The people we dealt with were also great and very responsive. On the negative side, after building our house, two months later an almost identical Spec model (same model, almost identical features) was sold two houses away for $80K less. We would have bought that home had we known about it. It was disappointing and still stings.

My experience was great with the agent I worked with very knowledgeable and professional,prompt on all matters.

We recently built our home with KHov, and our experience has been a mix of highs and lows. The sales team was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, helpful, and truly made the process smooth from the start. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Warranty team, which has been disappointing at best. The biggest issue, however, has been the quality of workmanship, particularly with the drywall and painting. The level of craftsmanship is far below expectations with noticeable imperfections throughout. For the investment we made in our home, we expected much better attention to detail. If you’re considering building with KHov, be prepared for an excellent sales experience, but a frustrating time when it comes to post build support and finishing details. ... More

I would highly recommend k hovnanian homes. They just do a great job

Buying process was exhausting and if you are not computer savvy, it's a real turnoff. Once in the home, I started finding little things that they cut corners on, lights in closets, vanity drawers are too deep (unusable). Cabinets and microwave too high. Space could have been better used.

From the very moment we set foot in our new home we were disappointed. The house was still a construction zone with literal piles of dirt on the floors, paint splatter, construction dust, plastic, grout that hadn’t been finished, paint that was not done well, outlets that weren’t level, a window that wasn’t square, an AC unit that was physically damaged, scuffed cabinets, warped doors, scuffed handles, mismatched pulls on vanities, faucets that didn’t match, and the list goes on and on. It was as if there was no quality control whatsoever. We have had to report the same issues over and over and over. We have had to send the same pictures over and over and over. We are now 4 months in and there are still issues that haven’t been dealt with or had a firm schedule put to them. We have had ti submit the same issues so many times it has made our heads spin. This home, if done right, is absolutely beautiful, but we should not have been given a dirty mess upon delivery. When we complained, they sent cleaners who were here for less than an hour. When they left, there were still dirty surfaces and paint splatter all over the place. It was extremely disheartening. There seem to be two teams here. Team Construction vs Team Warranty. The constant arguing between them over whose job it was to have something done is incredibly unprofessional. A customer should never know whose job it is, it should be dealt with behind the scenes and taken care of in a timely manner. ... More

My experience purchasing a home with K. Hovnanian was surprisingly seamless and positive. One of the biggest advantages for me was that I didn't need to involve a realtor, which streamlined the process and saved me money. I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that negotiation on the price was possible, something I wasn't expecting with a large builder. What truly made the difference, however, was the exceptional service I received from Kathy and Ismael. From the initial viewing to well after closing, they were incredibly communicative and responsive. They walked me through every step, answered all my questions thoroughly, and made me feel confident and informed throughout the entire process. What sets them apart is their continued dedication even after the sale. They remain readily available and genuinely willing to help whenever needed. This level of commitment is rare and truly appreciated. Overall, my experience with K. Hovnanian Homes was a positive one. I would absolutely buy from them again, especially if Kathy and Ismael were part of the process/team. Their professionalism, helpfulness, and genuine care made a potentially stressful experience surprisingly enjoyable. They are a true asset to K. We had several issues to resolve and they did .

Rhonda and Jeremy are fantastic and went above and beyond in helping us. The quality of the home could be better. During the inspection the shower door was leaking water, mirrors weren't centered over the sinks in the bathroom, barn door was hung on the wrong side of the wall. The painters could of done a better job. We have to remove paint from the floor ourselves. The bath tub creaks when you stand in it. Jeremy has helped in resolving alot of these issues

It's as if the construction team doesn't realize that they are building alongside residence. Blocking driveways, debris everywhere, and working at all hours! Quality is lacking overall. Thank goodness for warranty claims. Sales process was pleasant but difficult. This may be out of KHov's control. I think it's just getting harder to qualify for so many people.

Easy to work with. Great home.

Have been very happy with our new home. Upgraded one toilet to a name brand, our choice. So far no issues with anything else.

Home buying was very easy. Every person I worked with was very professional.

I have not heard from the follow up home inspector post buy. I have concerns but she has not called me back. Her name is Dean.

The house had to many thing there not llook good like the bathrooms sinks has same ckacks as well the floors AND the walls paint looks so cheap AND kitchen cabinets with a few cracks AND when you make the claim the person on charge seems like he doesn't looks profesional AND his not help to much
