The best team i ever encountered

Airplane noise is mitigated but it was there and drove my wife crazy the first few weeks. Except for outside noises, the condo to condo noises have been okay. The visitor parking situation is very bad and that's due to the actions of fellow owners and the non-action of KHov. If you are going to sell your condo, I can't picture an Open House because only illegal street parking is currently available. There were some building flaws and the most common one I see is separation between base moulding and the wall and even in shower areas. I've had bathroom makeovers and I've never seen that so early. We were not involved in the process of picking out things and came near the end of the process. So, I won't bother to comment on appliances, etcetera. We were downsizing from house to condo but we underestimated how much stuff we had even after donating and giving away lots of stuff. I do like the garage and driveway combo but they are so tight for our RAV4 that we've thought about downsizing our car. ... More

We have been very pleased with the kindness and support showed to us but the entire staff working with K. Hov. They went out of there way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed in our new home

I didn't expect this horrible quality and HOA is too high without proper roads and amenities. Too much dust and no insulation from new construction

1.Not great when It comes to quality and workmanship 2.No value for the price paid. 3.Good team and company but not a great construction and quality.

The time frame was prefect and right on-time moved in before Halloween, before the big holidays.

I recently purchased a new house and the experience was fantastic. The process was smooth from start to finish, thanks to the professional and knowledgeable Sabrina who guided me through every step. The house itself exceeded my expectations with its modern design, spacious layout, and high-quality finishes. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, making it a perfect place for my family. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my new home and highly recommend considering this area for anyone looking to buy a house.

Don’t finance through them. Abysmal experience. Home is ok but many warranty defects not fixed after 2 months. They are very slow to respond.

Buying from this builder was a breeze. I especially liked the professionalism and empathy exhibited by Brad. From start to finish, he made the whole experience worth it. Ashley also provided excellent support with timely updates and progress pictures.

Overall home buying experience was great including , sales, contractor and K Hovnanian mortgage/ loan officer were all easy to work with and very responsive to my questions. I am happy with the design and quality of my home. I would recommend K Hovnanian to family and friends.

Pros: It was a pretty smooth process as the build was already taking place when we acquired the property. They worked with us in changing the floor coloring when the original floors were delayed by weeks. They also have been amazing with helping us resolve issues with the home that comes with every new build. Our project a manager, Alex, was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to work alongside of us. Cons: We were not able to adjust any colors due to the build pressure being developed even thought it was only at the framing stage. Also the build was left on the MLS and dropped 10k after we signed out papers. We asked for our agreement to be changed to represent that 10k decrease in price and the sales/realtor person for K. Hovan homes refused to do so. He blamed it on someone at cooperate. However, when I called cooperate about this they explained to me that it is up to the realtor of that area to remove properties from the MLS and we should be able to have our agreement altered. The relator still refused to do so. He also had stated when we looked at the model home he would be able to cover closing cost and this was NOT something the did. He only gave 3k towards closing cost and the finance company could not understand how we had to do our home, since we still owned our previous home and was doing a land contract agreement for it. This resulted in not receiving the additional closing cost discount. They refused to listen to how it had to be done. The build side was fantastic the buying portion was a dread. ... More

Robert and Carolyn made building a new home very smooth and easy. I couldn't believe how stress-free the process was. They answered every question and kept in touch throughout the entire process. Even living states away I had peace and knew I was in great hands....I highly recommend working with them.

This is our 3rd New Construction Home and KHov by far has been the one where results are what was expected but more importantly they respond when problems arise with any items that need to be addressed and that is more important than anything else. Many builders your rockstar when you are buying and then dead to them after closing. KHov continued to treat us with the same attention that we saw before we purchased. The quality so far is great and the house looks fabulous.

Too many issues with poor quality of workmanship & materials for a new home in this price range.

For the most part, I am very satisfied with my new K Hovnanian home. There has been multiple changes with the construction supervisor during the building process. I moved into my home the beginning of November and have still not been contacted regarding my 30 day “list of concerns “. This may be due to yet another change in personnel and the ball was dropped. My construction supervisors were great to work with as the house was built but now I am not sure how to resolve the current issues with my home. I have already spent my own money fixing a sump pump that would not turn off, a garage door that literally jumped off the track (the contact info for the installer was indicated on a sticker), they would not return my phone call. I am frustrated at this point because I do love my new home! ... More

We bought house in tanager community and quality of fixtures and construction is below grade and options available are pretty bad and one of the sales rep did not have clue with options and other rep Sylvia and Construction manager Tom were very good and helpful.

I was initially verbally induced into signing a contract by the salesperson who told me the whole house had blinds. At the final walkthrough I was told there were none and the sales person said she was wrong and I should have read the contract. I had to threaten not to close and refuse to sign the document stating there were no verbal inducements to get the blinds. Home issues: there is no portal to submit warranty issues, only the email address for a construction manager who does not respond unless the matter is escalated. I have been waiting months to have the grading and my lawn fixed. My dishwasher was never properly installed and the smell of gas is extreme every time the oven is turned on. There is no way to track these warranty submissions since they are just emails that get ignored. When they aren’t ignored, someone comes out, looks at the issue and then doesn’t follow up until I send repeated emails. This is my third new construction home and by far the worst experience. ... We are carry happy with the mortgage rate - insurance and quality of the home including location.

We have been looking for a 3-2 Split and this model is a 4-2 Split with some nice features. The price point was right, and it was located in our target area, so it checked all the boxes!
