I've been a home owner for years and in a rush to move back to Florida I neglected to see the hidden issues and lack of quality of the construction in the new home I bought.

Everything was really bad,sales person had family emergency and really nobody was there to kinda cover even to give us the key of our 1st house. Youall change construction manager like 3 times and except for Gary (the las one) they didn't do nothing right. The day I was supposed to receive my brand new house was not finished and had buch of trash in the garage and back yard . I would never recomen or buy again from this constructor.

For the price of the house, we should have gotten morn out if it. They care more about building houses than having a play park for kids.

Steve and Daniel were great helping with last minute fixes before closing. Very dependable.

First of all, we are enjoying our new home! We have recently had A/C issues and the warranty policy came through but, it took them a week to resolve the problem. And another issue is why would the builder install 24” doors going into the bathrooms? We also had a water leak issue at the water meter in which we had to hire a plumber to fix and turned requests for reimbursement along with video to water supply company and have not received any response! Simple warranty issues seem to take abnormally long to be fixed, even when they are simple fixes. Once they have your money, no urgency to fix the issues their contractors created. I would not expect the same service after sales that you get when you are purchasing. Sales people are good, ultimately they are not involved after the purchase. Customer is not first once the sale is completed.

Great experience, very smooth, K. Hovnanian handled everything which takes the stress out of buying a new home. We couldn't be happier with the quality, workmanship and professionalism.

The quality of some items in the house can be better. The wood look tile is uneven in some areas, causing our feet to catch. This should have been done right. Overall the home is fair. We do love the floor plan and neighborhood. Just some things in the home that could have been done right and/or better.

I would like to highlight the attitude of the staff towards customers when they first step into their office and treating them like poor given the home value the customer wants to buy vs what KHOV is offering in other communities at a higher place. I heard from many people in the community that they are also been treated like this. Of course the home values in certain areas are higher but that doesn’t mean the customers are treated like that. Definitely the attitude has to be changed either it’s KHOV or their front office staff. We are giving you the equal business as the same customer who buys a million dollar home. Thanks ... More

Amazing experiance great company

Very good experience from the very beginning of the process to buy our new house. The sales consultant, Kathy, was amazing. She worked with us to get exactly what we wanted and needed. We would have not buy our house if it was not for Kathy's amazing help and assistance. The quality of the homes built is very good, we choose KHovnanian because we had already built our previous house with them in another subdivision and were so very happy with it that decided to build another one with them again in another part of town. The entire building experience was phenomenal, Nick, the construction manager assisted us through out the entire construction, he went the extra mile for us until the end. We have nothing but good things to say about Khovnanian homes and staff. We trust Khovnanian because they have proven to be great home builders with an impressive group of employees. ... More

Scott, Scott, and Rose were amazing throughout the whole purchasing journey. Scott #1 met with us multiple times to take progression photos. Scott #2 was always smiling and helpful, and Rose helped us from beginning to end with the purchase. She'd call once a week to encourage us. We love our new KHOV home! We have no issues! It is comfortable, efficient, and comfortable. We have never bought a new home. We have always bought older homes. Thank you, KHOV. The only reason for four stars on quality is some of the counters, bathtubs, and toilets chip pretty easily. It isn't a huge issue, but it moves it from a five to a four. The home was built with such care and diligence. I have a 2 story home and I live in it myself, but the way the layout is.. it doesn't feel like too much house. It's a perfect build!

My wife and I met Carlos at pre-Sheetrock stage. He was very professional and easy to work with. He took his time to understand our needs and walk through each question we had during the completion of our home. He was very approachable and reachable each time we had a question and/or identified areas needing attention. His knowledge and expertise on the construction, technical topics and building codes of the home was very welcoming as a home buyer. My wife and I have purchased several homes over the years (custom and pre-builds) and the KHOV experience with Carlos as our Home/ Project Building Manager was the most pleasurable and satisfying experiencing in completing our home purchase. Overall great experience purchasing the home

This is our second K.Hov home. We found a rural sub-division with four builders where K,Hov provided the best package of quality design, build, available upgrades and timescale, while still maintaining a competitive pricepoint. After three months in our home we have found only minor faults which were quickly resolved- something we could not say about previous non-K.Hov new homes.

My experience has been mixed. During the home buying process we were working with Paul. When we decided to put an offer on our house. He wrote up the purchase agreement and said we would get 10,000 in incentives which includes a buy out of our current lease and two fans in our home. The next day he calls and says I can no longer offer what I promised. I can only offer $7,000 and only one fan. But don’t worry I’ll buy the other fan with my own money. Then it became you have to fill out a survey once you buy the house and give us a high rating then you will get your second fan. When my realtor called him one time with a question. He told her I just came back from vacation I don’t have time to deal with this right now. Josue the builder also made a lot of promises he didn’t keep. One being to lower the shelf in my laundry room because it’s too high. The toilet paper holder in the master bedroom was never put on the wall correctly. I called him to fix it. He came out looked at it and said you are correct but I forgot my tools and I’ll come back tomorrow to fix it. Never saw him again. I love my home but as I am living in it I can tell it was a rushed job to get it done in time for closing. ... More

Love my new home, the buying process is long and sometimes confusing, but Damaris was very helpful during the process, the construction was according to the plan, some issues during the walking through that were fixed, Felix was always pending on us, once we received the house, have a few warranty issues but minor details that Felix help to fix, don't know about loan issues because we bought without loan

There is a lot of improvements this company needs to work on.

Staff was very helpful and responsive to my questions and addressed a few small issues immediately.

Jeremy my GC was awesome! Fix every issues noticed in a timely manner and pointed out those my realtor and I missed. Awesome individual with great integrity.

The builders are excellent in communication, responding to my issues. They strive to help you to get your dream house. I was the first time home buyer. Hence, I have many concerns and worries. They were very patient and detailed in answering my questions.
