WE PURCHASED OUR HOME WHILE LIVIVNG OUT OF STATE. MONICA, OUR SALES REP WAS GREAT THRU THE WHOLE PROCESS. SHE ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER AND SOLVED ANY ISSUE AND CONCERNS WE HAD. ONCE IN THE HOME, DOMINIC AND HIS STAFF WERE GREAT. VERY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEGABLE. WE WOULD RECOMMEND KHOV HOMES TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GREAT HOME IN A GREAT COMMUNITY.

We love our home but we can't wait for the building all around us to end and we get to meet our new neighbors.

Neighborhood is not properly represented when buying the home. The lakes are dry and there is no fountains.. was told that our lot was capable of having a swimming pool. This is not true .. it clearly states on the septic survey in bright red no pool. Even the septic people state they have made you aware of this but the sales person assured us that our lot was cleared for a pool. How can you build homes on a half acre lot .. that can’t have a pool!! No a very good marketing plan.houses look nice but are lacking in quality in craftsmanship and materials used.. My husband and I had a great experience! High out list were communication and involvement throughout the building process. We were able to witness from the foundation being through to the finishes touches. Kathy kept us abreast of each stage in the process. Weekly conference calls with the builder made it a seamless process. Any questions we had were answered timely After we moved in there were minor things that needed attention and they responded immediately!!! Full disclosure: my wife and I have extensive experience in buying and building houses. We have a complete and thorough understanding of the entire home buying/building process. With that being said, we will never use this builder ever again. With the exception of our sales associate (who was the third one we encountered, and she was phenomenal), there is not a single facet of the process that we are happy with. I cannot convey my true feelings for this company and it's employees for fear that they would have grounds to sue me for slander, so I am forced to continuously mutter the mantra of "I will never use this builder ever again." Everything was great, there was minor scuffs that were easily spotted and taken care of before closing date.

The starting part went great, Kristina was awesome and responsive. Carson was great too! First walk through went well, the second walk through we noticed some things needed to still be done. Closing was great. After 1 night in my house, I started having problems with the light/fans in both rooms. Which has been an ongoing issue still. Also had an insect issue from the first day, they were coming in from areas that were not fully chalked. Thought Laurie from warranty has been helping with the lights, I wished the lights would not have been an issue.

My lawn was 3/4 dead and it wasn’t fixed

Unfortunately Khov did not provide a great home buying experience. However they did follow through with warranty and responsive to repairs. Quality of craftsmanship was lacking as well as value for your money. Their Looks Program had no room for changes, which in our opinion does not equate to a custom home.

Some design work isn't very elegant. Functional, but cheap looking. None of the of the motion switches were properly programmed. The lights were always going out until we got them setup. We weren't given the user manuals for any of the appliances. It took weeks of complaining to get the solar panels operational. The quality of the paint is cheap. The walls cannot be touched or wiped without leaving a mark . The house is beautiful as long as you don't look too deep.

My experience was terrible and continues to be. There are so many flaws in my home. Some issues were addressed. Not all of my floors are even, I'm still waiting on my front door to be fixed. My kitchen cabinet has flaws. Still waiting on replacement. Hallway door to utility closet, our bedroom closet door has issues, mud inside plug sleeve can not hide tv wire Behind refrigerator is left over electrical tape and dry wall pieces, inside, kitchen cabinets there is sawdust, toilet seat is not set in guest bathroom going into all bedrooms Re upside down. Outlets covered with dry wall mud. The Windows are filthy. The floors were filthy Cracks throughout the garage floor, crack in drive way. Our neighbors watched a big concert truck went through caution tape pulled into driveway when the driveway wasn't a week old and truck cracked the driveway. There is still more issues that needed to be addressed, too many more to mentio z Being that my home is a new Build I feel it was sold as an as is home. This unacceptable. We're still waiting on repairs. My next step is to contact the BBC... And anyone else who will listen to us. Buyer beware especially when you pay cash. I want to be compensated for the flaws in my home and the stress brought upon me. If I knew this was going to be like this. I would have never paid $399,999 in cash for this home They did a rush job knowing we were going to pay cash. I don't appreciate being placed on the back burner. While your Builders are building new homes else where!!! If we can't get all the issues addressed asap you leave me no choice but spread the truth to other home buyers of your builds. My 3rd new build and the overall workmanship and materials are below average for new construction. Pretty disappointing for the price paid. The paint chosen is literally the worst, it wipes off just by brushing it with your clothes. Not to mention the painters, it seems like a four year old could have done a better job. Paint on the floors, in the carpet. Trim paint on the walls, wall paint on the trim. We had(have) places where the grout does not match for all of the same tile work. The color of grout doesn't even exist anywhere in our house. Had to spend multiple hours cleaning and fixing carpet, Khov did not correct it when pointed out. Same with the paint on the floors and handrails. It became more of an issue asking for it to be corrected than just taking care of it myself. ... More

We were a couple hours from the site so the E-Mail was a big advantage . The job super was always responsive and we let him do his job . During a planed site visit we could see the organized progress and job site cleanliness and we did not come back until competion .

Terrible Experience with Salesman & Finance Manager

Overall everything has been okay, the sales process was pretty great and we were informed about everything along the way. My main concern is that we had a walkthrough and while we noticed a lot of cosmetic things to be addressed, after signing off, there were a lot of things that were missed because you would need to be living in the home. One thing that bothers me is that the day after we moved in, I noticed that a vehicle (most likely a workers backing into our driveway as a turn around) hit our garage door and dented the bottom of it. The builder said that since we signed off they wouldn't fix it. Also I noticed a lot of scratches on windows in the home that you wouldn't notice unless you were right up against it and the light shining just right. I was told that those too would not be fixed. Also noticed that the lights in the master bathroom are not evenly placed above the vanities so they are all at different heights. I just think the quality of the workmanship could of been better and the builder should of offered to at least fix the windows and garage. ... More

Frustrating small details we didn’t see: Kitchen cabinets not screwed correctly, missing gaps in sealing seams by staircase and bathroom doors, and the door knobs are falling off the upstairs doors. The design and construction are outstanding. Excellent safety features and beautiful small details.

The team was helpful during the early stages, and communication was generally prompt. However, there were some concerns regarding the finish and detailing in certain areas, particularly in the bathrooms. The quality of work and the bathroom floor plans and options did not meet my expectations, with some of the detailing appearing inaccurate or incomplete. Additionally, even though we signed the agreement knowing the plan and options, the paid amount does not seem to match the options provided. After adding $100K in upgrades, the house still doesn’t reflect the luxury look we were aiming for. Cabinets in bathrooms, kitchen are not a good quality materials used. garage doors are also not a great quality. I believe improvements could be made in quality control, attention to detail, and ensuring that the final result matches the investment. I hope these issues can be addressed for future projects, as the team has the potential to deliver a more satisfying experience.” Few options like shower area lights in bathrooms should not be an option to be chosen by the buyer! Furthermore, even after paying millions for the home, we are left with additional work to complete, such as painting in the garage and addressing the landscaping. The front trees, for example, are quite spiky and not what we envisioned. Additionally, we opted for a finished basement, but only half of the area was completed. These issues have added to our disappointment and suggest that more attention to detail and customer satisfaction is needed. I hope this feedback will help for future projects. ... More

Be warned: While the purchasing and financing experience was excellent and we are thankful to our sales representative heather, the build process and the final product have been disappointing. Our new home construction was completed in June, and it is now October, yet there are ongoing issues that remain unresolved. Don’t get me wrong—overall, this is a beautiful home. However, given the reputation of the builder and the expectation of higher quality, this just doesn’t meet the mark. Since we’ve moved in, we have been dealing with an ongoing electrical issue that has not been addressed, and our concerns about the quality of the home’s finish have not been heard. There were numerous paint deficiencies and other problems that should have been caught during Quality Control before the home was ever released for sale. My advice to anyone considering a home from this builder is to ensure that you have several third-party inspectors thoroughly check the home and verify that everything is up to standard before you purchase. This builder has not lived up to the expectations set by their name or their guarantee of producing 100% customer satisfaction and the highest-quality product, as stated on their website. Our warranty specialist has addressed most concerns, which has been helpful, but not all issues have been resolved. Living in a home with problems affecting one of its major systems is unacceptable, especially given the price point of over half a million dollars. We made the mistake of not being thorough enough when checking the home prior to closing, even with issues that were identified during our third-party inspection. We are now finding out that despite being assured these issues would be resolved, they were not. This undermines the credibility and trust we had in this process and this company. I would advise always doing your own checks, no matter how professional or friendly the staff may seem. Their primary interest is in selling the home and absolving themselves of responsibility. The fact that so many details were overlooked is concerning and makes me wonder what issues we might face in the future when the home is no longer under warranty. ... More
