Justin did a great job fixing the issue with the trim

Overall my experience with K. Hovnanian was good except that there were a lot of minor issues with the home and it has taken a lot of time to get the issues addressed and are still being addressed.

My experience with KHov was great. They where fast and very trustworthy. Will get my pre 1 year inspection in soon but as of now no issues with he home in any way!

We had a great experience throughout the whole process of buying the home. Tracy was always attentive to our needs to matter how important or trivial our concern was. Matt also provided pictures of the progress of our home during construction. When we did our final walkthrough, both Tracy and Matt showed up and made sure every little concern or small fix we wanted was taken care of by the time we moved in.

This is our third new home. This was the worst experience we have ever had. From initial salesperson to our closing that took five hours this was horrendous. We sent in a much more detailed review and documented timeline. The only positive we have is Kristi our warranty person. So many issues and we are not asking for them all to be addressed. Example - we are on our fifth main kitchen countertop being replaced and still not correct. Our upgraded stairs and beams needed immediate addressing or we were not moving in. The stairs are still not fixed to the condition agreed upon when purchased. The other upgrades are absolutely not worth the money, especially for the craftsmanship. We took over an hour to type the entire story so your company at some level is already aware and I am convinced you do not actually care as we had no one speak to us. Homes are built poor quality and im still having issues getting things fixed after 4 months of living in our brand new home other problems are also coming up but im choosing to fix them myself since its easier then waiting weeks for them to fix things

We have been very happy with the home builder and especially Felix. He is very responsive to issues and is very customer satisfaction driven.

Great value and quality of construction

Our home purchase was excellent. Sales rep to the construction supt. Resolved all punch list items and after settlement used the on line service portal and service rep called the next morning to request what we needed. Site supt shared his cell number and responded on the weekend. Quality produce and great customer service

Bought a new construction home & closed close towards the end of april. Have had many problem & the small ones were fixed with the bigger problems being ignored or pushed on to the next guy. Found many issues with door’s not closing correctly thing’s not being painted my air had went completely out about 6 times now. Very bad when your in the middle of the summer on a 95+ degree day. Biggest issue being is my hvac pipe having such bad condensation that it has caused a leak in the ceiling of my kitchen. They cut a hole in the ceiling in my kitchen leaving an exposed hvac pipe dripping water all day onto my counters & floor creating a slipping hazard for us & our 3 children. After the month long wait i have been essentially been told its our fault that we keep out house “too cool” in the summer. There recommendation is turn it no lower then 15 degrees of the temperature outside. So on day’s that it reaches 100+ my thermostat should be set no lower then 85-87 degree’s. Which is Completely unacceptable. There behavior with no one taking responsibility is disappointing. When i called & explained the situation to there customer service line there response essentially was we will send you the information so you can sue us. WOW! Did a very good job

Experience is not great. Not provided proper information during inspection and home walk-through. After closing, if I raise tickets, its taking lot of time to resolve the issues. Very poor to response time

We have had a great experience buying our new home. Everyone we worked with has handled themselves in a very professional and courteous manner. Any issues have been handled quickly and thoroughly.

Use very cheap material to build house. The construction Rep on site will lie to you every time you want them to remediate on something. always have some excuse on what things are wrong.

Since we purchased the house in April, we’ve had two broken windows and a broken door. Despite them claiming they were coming back right after settlement to fix it, they never showed up. We are now three months out and keep calling about these and they keep claiming they’re going to get to it and nothing ever happens.

I purchased the home in April, pretty much virtually since my primary home is in the Northeast. My daughter and son-in-law who live in Phoenix visited the model and gave the thumbs up. The home is lovely for me and my husband as a second home. Getting items on the punch list addressed was a little rocky at first so I complained to Khov corporate office. Almost immediately, the warranty manager, Josh, came to the rescue and had all the items addressed at my next visit to the home. Everything turned out perfectly well. The garage service door looks like it was picked up from a junk yard and will be replaced at my next visit to AZ. All in all the home suits our needs as a second home and is perfect for that. My only issue, and this is my fault, is that the neighborhood once you leave the development looks very industrial. But in riding around AZ, it appears that there are many neighborhoods built in the middle of industrial zones. I might not have bought this home had I visited in person before buying. The big plus is that I am only 30 min. from my daughter and I only wanted new construction. ... More

I experienced poor customer service on repair issues

We paid cash to buy this new home and there was no gas pipe before moving in. no one aware it and the builder just called us to move in. The manager just only wanted us to close the escrow right away, and he did not care about the house was not ready to move in at all. The kitchen was not finished, the windows were damaged, and there were many floors trip hazer, 14 windows sills were damaged, and we cannot even move any furniture into this house, we paid the windows covering and cannot be installed because the window vendor refused to do repair work for this house. we were asking for repair every day and the builder tried to intimidate us and even claimed that we refused to do any repairs. there were 20 roof tiles were broken; the pavers of the entry ways were uneven. and the builder said no inspector allowed before closing the escrow, after moving in no lawyer allowed for mediation. we are very regrated to buy this home, I was admitted to the ER due to this stress, why we had to repair this new home every day after moving in? No one from the builder can help us, and we cannot rent it because the builder refused to finish paint the wall and the doors. too many blue tapes of this house. no realtor is willing to rent it for us. What can we do? we cannot enjoy this new home, and we were very stress for repairing this defective home day by day and month by month. All of the room had a problem. Buying was 5 stars but some hiccups at delivery

Sales agent Lashon was great. Informative, knowledgeable and great follow up. Speedy closing. End of July I’m still waiting on things that were promised to be done before closing which was 4/25. Hopefully Jim will see them through.

Susan in the sales office was great to work with. Very helpful and friendly. I never felt pushed by her as some people in sales can be. As for craftsmanship, there are things that I have found. My walls have rounded corners. One is dented and it is not easily fixable. I find scratches and dings on doors. I know they were there prior to moving in because they are painted over. Paint splatters on windows. Caulking higher on window frames then it should be. All little things that the contractor and whoever else inspects work should catch. It's workers being sloppy.

This home is amazing and the sales agents were extremely nice!

I'm honestly not happy at all with my brand new home purchase. 3 months into the home having major electricity issues. Major leak from my kitchen and master bathroom. Have had issues from day one. And poor workmanship. Interior doors in the home are paper thin. Paying a premium price for the home and to get cheap materials is nor a good feeling to have.

From start to finish K Hovanian made it simple and pain-free.
