I am not at all happy with quality of the home and materials that were used for construction when compared with other builders.

Beautiful designs and very responsive sales and maintenance team.

The KHov finance office was not a good experience. The KHov sales rep gave us some incorrect information. We have had three different project managers as KHov builder reps, for the most part they took care of our initial issues but since we’ve pasted the 45 day mark we can hardly get anyone to answer a phone or email. We still have a list of items from the state building inspector that has not been corrected after being turned in 30 days ago.

The contractors use low quality products to save a buck. This has proven to cause several problems and continues to cause more. The quality of doors are subpar, electrical outlets, switches are being swapped out as well. The trim crew through things together and doesn't match up seems etc. The doors have flaws and are never installed evenly so they look twisted etc. Even the yard has issues and I've been trying for 2 months to get it corrected. If I could do it again I wouldn't buy from them but I'm I did so ill keep pushing to get things corrected best I can.

Well the house has a number of issues… chipped bathtub ,cracking ceiling and corners, cabinets pulled away from wall, floors squeak,master shower is not level. Doorknobs falling off. The paint used is awful, you cannot clean matte paint! The landscape is poor- plants all coming up out of the ground! Garage is very small. Mine has footprints all over the ceiling!! I might have forgotten something.

Our sales man Joe was amazing. He went out of his way to help with the whole process.

Unfortunately, our experience was just a little nailbiter. The timing of our unfortunate situation has caused us financially, However, we do commend our sales rep Don for helping us through this situation. Sorry this couldn’t be a better to review because we love our home!

Hadn’t bought a home in over 30 years. KHOV made the experience as easy as possible. They are quick to respond to any issues we’ve had with the home. Very happy with our purchase.

The sales team made me feel like family. The sales person Rod was so gracious and nice. It made feel so comfortable in my home buying experience. There was no pressure or stress. Thank you K HOVANIAN for your excellent sales team especially Rod. Thanks again for being so wonderful.

Based on the personal buying experience I have mixed feelings. On the good side, I can commend the sales team, the construction superintendent for the final construction phase, and post-closing service teams. At the same time, there were a number of opportunities for improvement. The house is mostly open frame (very few chip boards to reinforce it). Was quite surprised to see that at this price point. The construction resulted in quite a few deficiencies due to workmanship issues. Some of those took extra time and effort to correct. The selection of upgrades left a really bad impression due to the excessive amounts the builder wanted for some of the options. Finally, the lender team offered non-competitive terms for the loan. So, while it is clear that some of personnel really care and apply themselves, a combination of unskilled trades, and company policies contributed to the less than perfect experience. ... More

Difficult to get an accurate date for townhome to be completed. Unit is very well built structurally, layout is great. The finish work inside is average. Air conditioning unit wired incorrectly, many interior paint issues, all doors need to be worked. There are additional items. Working with warranty team. They are very responsive. Trades should take more pride in their workmanship.

She was both helpful and kind as on-site contact. My only disappointment was feeling like I was on a treadmill infant-forward during the purchase, mortgage process.

Grading around home is deficient and water accumulation especially on right side, one kitchen cabinet different from others and bad irrigation system is corroded and not functioning

We are so excited for the new home. Great experience.

The design and location of the home are excellent, just what we wanted. The building experience was limited in terms of choices and there was little flexibility about anything--We couldn't even ask them to leave something out if we didn't want it, we just had to remove it later ourselves. The workmanship seems to be good generally, although the drywall and painting finish work was OK at best. The builder does respond quickly to problems after the sale.

It was an incredible experience, as it marked my first foray into homeownership. It all began when a friend approached me, saying, come let me show you a new house; I’m certain you’ll love it. We headed to KHov’s office where we were greeted by a friendly individual who graciously attended to all our needs and provided thorough explanations. I am a first time home buyer and I was extremely excited and nervous to make the first major purchase of my life and to actually be able to do so. I didn’t have the best experience with Darren he is the person that we first encountered when we looked at the model home. He gave us what I thought was thorough information, but there were way to many discrepancies down the line and he didn’t own up to his mistakes which was annoying. The loan officer Burke was extremely rude. He made me feel as though me asking questions and or me clarifying information that he gave was annoying him to the point he was agreeing to things that I repeated back to him to clarify that was incorrect. And when later questioned he claimed I was the one that didn’t hear correctly. He was extremely rude nearly every time I spoke with him to the point I tried to limit it so that I didn’t talk myself out of purchasing my new home. Once in my home I noticed that things were missing screws and already falling off the wall there was no toilet tissue holder in the half bathroom and the kitchen sink has been loose since the day after moving in. The craftsmanship is very subpar at best however its an opportunity for me to put my spin on it but for the price you would think at least there would be a frame around the mirror in the bathroom at the least. Victor and Brian have been our go-to's through this entire process. Both have been so helpful to us with anything we've needed. We're so happy in our new home and we feel like we have the help and support from the builder and their warranty team.

The entire KHov team was outstanding. Responsiveness, detailed, and trustworthy. I would recommend this house buying experience to anyone interested in a hustle free property acquisition process.

My superintendent Jeremy was amazing he answered all my questions and any problems i have had he resolve my issue right away.

For the amount of monies that I paid to Town home, expected the quality of the workmanship and materials will be at least as good as my rental home. But observed issues with the house from day1. Actually, closed the house on 31st Oct and officially moved on 1st Jan. But observed door locking issues for all the doors and cracks in the staircase and shaky staircase created multiple problems such as fell down from top.

To start off there are only 2 outlets that were put in my entire basement. So I will eventually need to hire an electrician to install more outlets. The master bathroom had the cheapest worst looking single vanity I had ever seen. I had to buy a new double vanity to put in & hire a plumber. There is so much wind around that there is noises that happen right outside the master bedroom bathroom when it’s windy. They did not tell us about sealing our countertop in the kitchen so I had to learn the hard way. I figured they would have had the countertop already sealed for us when buying a new home, or at least tell us about it. There was also a wooden block stuck under our carpet for a while before somebody came out to remove. ... More
