Excellent sales team to support throughout the journey..

There was a bump or two in the process but overall my experience was great.

After months of searching for the perfect home, we found this quick move in home at Rancho Cordova with great incentives esp the rate buy down. The sales person John is accommodating and they resolve issues quick. Will def recommend.

Very disappointed in the workmanship of our new home. It is a beautiful home with a beautiful layout but the repairs have been non stop since we moved in making it very hard to enjoy. If they just made sure things were done correct the first time it would make the experience more enjoyable.

The house was finished 2 months late and even after 2 walkthroughs with requests made for fixes we still managed to find 2 pages of things wrong with the house before we moved in. After moving in we have continued to find issues including nails sticking out of carpeting and the dryer not being hooked up properly. Overall a terrible experience.

The sales process was handled by Russell very well with weekly photos of the building progress. The closing process went OK. The Builder did not have the county permit on the day we closed therefore we could not get our keys to our new home. The Builder also failed to provide proper documentation to the Post Office to validate all the new addresses at this location. We are still having problems with companies unable to update our new address in their systems. Our address is NOT in the US Postal Service data base. The condo is what we expected. Overall we love the floor plan we chose. The quality of the final touch ups on the paint are not that great. Also only one coast of paint seemed to be used so cleaning up marks on the walls do not go well. Working with most of the builder’s reps has gone ok with one exception. We were offered a refrigerator as an incentive and chose one, but a lesser price one was delivered.

Terrible experience from home delivery to warranty response. It has been six months since my move in. We are still arranging service to be completed. My driveway was attempted to be fixed finally after months of KHOV deflecting issues with it. It is now two different colors and a sore spot in a beautiful brand new neighborhood. It never ends with KHOV. Do not buy!

The paint jobs that they are putting on inside the house are so cheap that when you touch the walls you leave your fingerprints. The paint has been watered down and this has been told to me by professional painters. I have a wall in my house that’s 3/8 of an inch off from one end to the other. We will definitely see whether or not they take care of the problems that are in my New Home. They have been made aware of them and we’ll see where goes from there. As far as the salesman, he is outstanding, and I would write him a 10 every single time, he seems to be very caring and wanting to make sure that we are all happy with our homes. His name is Daniel and I’m able to talk with him at any time about any of the issues with my house. We used to have a warranty man named Randy, that was outstanding, and the young man that took his place. Just seems to want to brush you off and not move forward. Overall, the experience went well and we are very happy with the end result. Nick was great, answering any questions we had in the initial selection process. The construction manager Tom was very patient and quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had during the build process.

Though we have owned several homes this was our first brand new home. It was completed almost 6 weeks ahead of schedule which we were not really prepared for but the home turned out beautifully. Unfortunately, accompanying services were not ready. We did not receive mail service, garbage pick up, and internet/TV service for 2 months after closing. Living without these amenities proved challenging and sometimes frustrating. Service from the recommended title company, Eastern National Title Agency, has been pitiful. Though we paid cash for the home, we still have not received a title or even a response from them after writing personally to Nelson G. If it wasn’t for the professionalism of your sales staff we would not be happy buyers of our 1st brand new home. ... More

There were multiple open tickets that took months to complete AFTER CLOSING. I think Khov needed to do a better job of quality control before handing the keys to home owners. they are more interested in pumping out homes before the market changes rather than focus on quality homes.

The water has been used from our home during the closing week without our permission. Huge lawn of around an acre area at the back of home’s block and several smaller lawn pieces at the front of the home’s block, have been watered by using water from our uniti have incurred a heavy water bill for around 110 thousand gallons of water. I have been following up several times with KHOV sales office to reach out to someone who takes responsibility of this issue. I have been given a promise that this bill will be taken care of before the due date. The date is past due but not a single bit of the bill is been paid yet. It’s a very bad experience to us because of KHOV using water from our unit without letting us know. ... More

I found a significant lack of quality review of the work done in the building process. Specifically, the interior workmanship was less than adequate, Grout left smeared on the bottom edges of the tub and showers, paint drips not cleaned up on the floors and carpet, paint sloppy, and overall cleanliness at delivery was horrible. I'm still finding issues.

Overall, it has been a very positive experience. Our needs were addressed in a timely manner. The sales staff have been helpful.

I would recommend K. Hovanian to anyone looking to purchase a home. I had a great home buying experience with this company and I love my home. It is reasonably priced and they helped me with my closing cost. I know it’s not a buyers market but if you’re looking to buy a home, please use K. Hovanian. The builder is great and the warranty is exceptional!!!

The design process would be enhanced if interior wall color was a choice. The drywall finish, ie, smooth, is poor. They also have problems around cutouts in drywall. Many pointed out issues have NEVER been fixed. The lots contours leave a lot to be desired which is not helped by poor sod installation. Many issues have been fixed but many remain in need of resolution. The roads have drainage issues because many drains are non-functional.

Sales person were very attentive and quick to help resolve any issues, only concern is the minimal customizing option once we select the pallets

We are really enjoying our new home. The sales staff was very helpful, and the support team has been very prompt to help us with minor fixes/questions.

K.hov is incredibly responsive about fixing problems, but the problems are legion. Electrical issues lead the way for my house. I'm now on a first-name basis with the electricians. Materials are, overall, inferior, and workmanship is poor. Maybe if they weren't in such a hurry to build, they'd take more time to do it right the first time.

Jeff was great in helping us out and go the extra mile but the rest of it was a right . We were told one thing but ten it was something else . . But the whole thing was very good
