The designs of the houses are beautiful, however the construction aspect is not what I had expected. They will tell you that the wall texture is considered an "upgrade" to have the flat walls because it shows all the inpuriries, when all it is is sloppy drywall work! The tile floors are uneven and I have holes in the grout theoughout the house. The building material are not what I expected either... the cabinet doors are very thin and flimsy as well as the sliding glass door. The overall workmanship is poor and just sloppy. I am very disappointed! After talking to my neighbors we all have termites and I hope I don't have some of the other issues they have experienced! ... More

The building process took 16 months . The paint on the inside is a joke . The riser on the inside steps are buckling and the paint is pealling off .

Most of what we did to buy this property was done remotely.. we relocated from Connecticut this past summer. Every effort was made to keep us informed of progress in construction by Monica. She sent us regular updates via text. Jim and Reese have been very responsive to our post construction needs. Communication with the mortgage company was somewhat lacking at times and documents were requested at the last minute. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you K HOVNANIAN.

Buying a new home is always stressful but it can be good if you are in the right neighborhood. The project managers here are very helpful and timely in their response. There are a lot of things to be concerned about while spending your money and there will be differences of opinion and perspective but this neighborhood and developer are working to give you the best they can. We have had an overall positive experience and we would wholeheartedly recommend putting your family in a home here. Thank you to everyone involved and we look forward to getting more great neighbors.

Lots of promises from builder that never get delivered. Tired of calling on a weekly basis to ask for what we paid for - they do respond and are very nice on the phone but nothing seems to get done in a timely matter if at all. We are just getting very tired of all the calls I need to make and have someone home for a delivery or service that should have been complete prior to us moving in. All we ask is give us what we paid for. Period.

I have been unable to get my air conditioning to work properly.been in touch with warranty dept .they have been really helpful .but also unable to get my air conditioning problem resolved.

Overall it was a great experience from day one to closing. I was impressed with the whole experience.

I had an issue with water break and couldn’t o cult home for 2-3 weeks this is all after 2 weeks of closing Expected khov to ribose me with reimbursement for having to extend my lease by two Months still Not even one phone call

After you buy new home from them they can not find contractors to fix a problem I had a very very bad experience with this when you face lots lots problems there builder use very cheep material and no good finishes work by no experience worker I feel like I get rob all work is crooked even house main entry door is crooked if you wana to know more just come to community to talk with people than you find out truth I wish owner this project to see this review and call me or come to talk to every house owner than he know what he done to us .

The process from viewing to closing went smooth. The things I asked for they provided. My only issue is the walls are thin and can't sleep in the room next to laundry room if washing machine is on. The appliances are extremely cheap and I'll be changing them soon.

The quality of the material very cheap. sales person and builder manager are very nice and friendly.

We paid 40k for an upgrade in kitchen that got delivered with missing pieces and for explanation we are being told that manufacture is not making the complete pieces now . But again you sold us and we paid for it and now we should get it or we should either get a refund .

The construction manager Zach was incompetent, lied constantly, didn’t care one bit! He was condescending, racist, belittling trades, disrespectful, did not manage the trade base. Didn’t complete many items on punch walk, (gas line needed to be moved and didn’t move it until day of closing. Lied so many times. EVERYTHING is the cheapest. Baseboards,doors,paint,toilets, cabinets,light fixtures. KHOV use the cheapest trades,cheapest materials and hand over a VERY sub par house. Why can’t they get things done FIRST TIME,instead of having items repaired after closing. The worst experience we have ever experienced!! Considered walking away on day of closing (which was delayed on the day of original closing date) Steve the salesperson also did not care about his “acquired” buyers from previous salesperson. Very condescending!! Management do not care apart from counting their money. No empathy, no compassion, no care!!! Treat buyers like numbers on the sales wall. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! ... Would not recommend anyone to buy here honestly some things I see where you guys cut corners to save cost house was 358000 I feel robbed definitely worth a good 150,000 not satisfied me and my neighbors garbages are not the lengths they’re supposed to be counter tops in my bathrooms are very cheap the 3 front room are so SMALL I can barely fit a bed and dresser in them I’m counting down until I can sell and go with a better builder

The overall experience was not very good

Not satisfied with the overall experience. There was gas leakage and water leakage initially when they handed over the house. There are zero fans inside the house. Bathroom tiles are of not good quality.

Buying experience was great.Overall I will recommend some one. The sales person was super friendly and very committed to her job.

we have been very grateful on working with KHOV. they have been so sweet and helped us with us every step of the way to getting our beautiful home. we are so in love with our new home.

Initial item/punch lists not handled well or at all. New person in charge of fixing items is on it and awesome. Not thrilled with paint option for texture delete walls. I would have paid for upgrade to next paint level. House interior needs to be painted already because white flat gets marked up by the air. Not a reasonable thing to have to do after 3 months. Cabinet choices were not great for price point of house, as well as lack of cabinets/closets. Gourmet kitchen has a tiny fridge. I would extend a few of the options. More cabinets through kitchen dining area/ offer some floor design and kitchen designs ideas/portfolio ahead of design process to make that a more comfortable process. The house is nice but some of these issues would have made it to next level. Sales people and construction managers were very helpful. Financing should have had a 2-3 yr rate buydown because expecting to buy a home in 3-4 percent and it being 3 percent higher is not a good move. ... More

We love our KHovnanian home! The very few issues we’ve had after moving in have been taken care of and the house feels very well built. We liked the floor plans and we’re glad to find one that fit everything we needed in our first home together.
