Work crew and sale rep was very helpful and did a great job It made home buying quick and painless

Not satisfied with overall workmanship and quality of the house. 1 year warranty is a joke, usually they delay service request or does a simple bandaid . Again we have to put in requests for the same work.

We had a great experience buying from Khov. Karen Miller was friendly and easy to get ahold of, Kristin, Jeff and Dave always made time to answer our questions and even fixed the floor we messed up moving in! We will definitely recommend Khov to family and friends looking to buy new :)

There were so many issues in home

Buying this house was a pleasure. The salesperson was great and the construction manager was very attentive. I love the design. The 9-foot ceilings make it feel big and the open-concept kitchen/dining/living room is great. My one qualm is the quality of the paint. I oversaw the repainting of every room in my old place, using Benjamin Moore or Behr or Valspar paints. The paint here is thin. The semigloss is hard to wipe clean and the flat paint is easy to scratch. I expect in years to come I will begin to have the rooms repainted. Simply love my new home and look forward to many years here.

Looks like home was rush made. 3 months in and we have pop nails, creaking in floorboards, uneven laminate, door knobs falling off door, ceilings and walls are uneven, and we had to repair hvac 2 times since March.

I highly recommend people to this company

Easy process. When ever we had a concern or problem they response was quick. Also, they fixed any issues we’ve had.

Executive management are responsible for design output specifications and most likely, the selection of poor-quality tier 1 suppliers based on lowest bid only. Those who have to build to these specs are not responsible for ultimate customer opinion. Specifying 1/4-inch stucco, a "texture delete drywall finish," wavy stucco, facia painted with watered-down paint with no primer, a four-foot-tall back wall, poorly built cabinets that cannot even arrive intact for replacement of the cracked units, pavers that are supposed to block water from the expansive soil with non-polymeric sand, are all the effect of poor executive management that obviously manage primarily according to EBITDA or other IRS based accounting principles.. Such a management philosophy begins with financial numbers and ends with poor customer satisfaction. It's real simple. Expecting any other outcome is insanity. There are issues with the tier 3 suppliers, that are selected at the tactical level, but I would still argue that this is the effect of executive management, not the tactical managers. I disagree with the philosophy that the customer who complains the most and threatens to bring in the watch-dogs is the only customer who gets his stucco re-layered. Thank you for the effort to correct some things I've complained about. I've dealt with some really nice bottom-tier suppliers when they can speak English. I won't recommend KHOV to a friend or family member, but I do recommend KHov hire an independent firm to study your management system and make recommendations for root cause level corrective actions to result in delighted customers. Overall the house is nice. Get into the details and its terrible they spoon feed you what you want to hear landscaping is trash. Many other problems if i didnt already put 10k towards the house i would have backed out due to lack of communication betwee khov employees and us yhe buyer

First home buying experience. We were very excited. Disappointed to find that our builder simply couldn't be bothered to hold the contractors to a high standard. His exact words when we pointed out the terrible tile work around our fireplace were, "our tile guys are B grade". We were told that we could have them re do it but it could be worse. We didn't have the option to delay closing. There were other things we didn't catch as well. Out of square door frames, cabinet doors not the same size with off color replacements. Interior paint job was terrible even after we stuck tape over the entire house during the walk through. Overall I feel like we over paid for what we got. ... More

Everybody was very helpful

We were very pleased that the timing from purchase to move in was what they initially projected and pretty much flawless. We were pleased with our new home and the few concerns we had were handled in a relatively timely manner.

Love the home and my family loves it as well.

The sales people were great. The house/yard is pieced together with the cheapest materials and products possible, and evidently the cheapest labor. Everything will be "military grade" and that's not a good thing. Just enough to pass inspection is a good way to describe it. Keep your expectations extremely low and you won't be disappointed with the quality.

Garage and Driveway were finished badly.

Our situation was unique! And…..we lived in Wisconsin! Team KHove (Karen, Jim,Todd and one other) went to work to make sure we had smooth sailing from start to finish! It was humbling to be treated with courteous and respectful people again as customer service as a whole lately has been lacking! Our whole experience has been wonderful….

The property manager was super nice and very helpful. She listened to my needs and helped me get the perfect home for me and my family.

The buying experience was not too difficult. The end product is not up to the standards we expected. The paint is not the best and cannot be wiped clean. The flooring is nothing like what seems to have been promised or maybe all buyers were misled. The flooring is totally substandard. Throughout the living room and kitchen is inferior vinyl flooring that shows every nick and indentation once furniture is placed upon it. I believe we were all led (or misled) to believe that for the price Khov was charging, the flooring would be of a harder, more durable laminate plank flooring. That’s what should have been installed! The carpets are acceptable for the moment but not best quality. The sod sheets used for the lawn look terrible. I could go on but I think you get the drift. ... More

From the initial visit and meeting with the K. Hovnanian representative, Kristina, to our actual move in date, the process of selecting a home was stress free. Though new to the State of Texas, we are not first time home owners and we knew exactly what we wanted. The Khov rep stayed in contact with us and answered any and all of our questions throughout the process. We eventually came to know another person on the Khov team, Jacob, and he further explained anything having to do with the actual construction of the home.
