Multiple problems that are still not resolved.

great experience from begining to end. Bayer Bo and Galina went above and beyond to get us in to our dream house . thank you team.

The quality of materials used for the price of the building is very cheap.

Khovnanian builds a home that is very good with regard to the basics, space, floor plan options, however need to be more flexible with working with buyers on upgrades, especially when the buyer is willing to pay for them.

We had a lot of fun building this home with K-HOV. The time from working with the sales staff, to working with the Foreman of the Build, to taking the keys. It was easy and seemless.

From poor workmanship and materials to multiple misses and construction issues this has been the worst construction experience I have had. The construction supervisor was never around and missed both small and big design options including the dual AC thermostat system. Problems with heater, tiles, cabinets, even the floor in the second floor is shaking and tumbling. They don’t allow independent inspection prior to closing and now I know why, they don’t want to delay closing by the buyer finding all the issues! I do not recommend this builder to anyone.

Great building experience with khov

My home buying experience was amazing, The KHOV team made it happen in three weeks from the application day to close and I was truly amazed on how well they communicated with each other and with me. I would recommend the KHOV team to everyone for a hassle-free home buying experience.

Closing was not very smooth, lot of dates shared to us for the closing. But finally it was been like the customer myself have to discuss with Town for getting the occupancy certificate. After moving initial issues fixed through warranty team. But after that seeing a critical issue in the end unit where cold air getting pushed from outside, working with warranty and other senior managers team finally they are asking to read pages and pages of document saying all build as expected. After nearly 2 years of looking for our first home, K Hovnanian was the blessing for which we were waiting. It started with April, the salesperson, really listening to our situation and helping lead me to see what we really needed and with their mortgage company was able to afford the house we needed. The quality of the home was the best of the hundreds I had looked at over the years. That level of service continued through the lending team, insurance team, and still to this day with the warranty team. Truly has been a great experience buying our first home with KHOV.

We got a bunch of issues that we have brought up to our contractor. So far we have been told that we should report them all before end of year. We got exposed electrical wires in are garage. The general contractor was switched out on us. Issues with so called premium lot.

We had a very pleasant experience with Nick and Kody our building managers who assisted us when walking through of new home during the building process and gold key orientation. There was multiple follow ups after closing to ensure every was going well and to answer our questions. We highly recommend this builder for their quality of build and customer service attentiveness. Thank you to the entire team for making what normally is a daunting experience into a pleasant and easy one! We appreciate all you!

The salesman Josh was excellent. Low key ( no hard sell), knowledgeable and responsive. Workmanship on the home was excellent, and when there was one problem the construction foreman Dave had it fixed prior to us having to point it out. Highly recommend KHovnanian.

I had a great experience with khov construction and home warranty. Craig and Matt were so nice and would always go the extra mile to help customers. Everett from the home warranty was also a gem. My experience with the sales office was good at times, but I found my sales point of contact to not be fully trustworthy. My realtor and I had to follow up to get responses and the poc often said he wouldn’t bring our requests to management since he knew they would say no. Quality of work for price of homes doesn't equal out, especially when getting appraised.

We were kept informed throughout the whole process. The people that walked us through the house was very informative and helpful.

The worst company and some company employees have no idea what they are doing and happening on site

The quality and value of our new home is awesome. The grand room with the open concept is inviting for family. The subdivision is inviting and welcoming.

The quality of the home is just ok. Far away, it looks great, but there are definitely flaws. Tiles aren't even, our primary shower is very crooked and uneven, the tile flooring through out the house is uneven. You don't really notice it until you try to put something like a table on it and it wobbles because one part of the floor is higher. On the outside, there are wires and cables that stick out that we have to watch when we mow. The vent flap over the oven that leads to outside flaps continuously in the wind and it's very loud in the house and very annoying. Our dryer vent clogged up within the first few weeks of moving in and caused condensation to leak out of our dryer. Some of the corners in the house look like it was painted in a different paint color. The spout on the primary bath tub is crooked, points to the side instead of right in the center of the tub. A few design issues. Primary bathroom has only 2 5 in drawers so there is no storage in that bathroom. Kitchen cabinets open and hit the microwave causing wear and tear where it hits. Hall bath room is very small, door can barely close because of the toilet. Some of the patchwork on doors is very rough and scratchy. I would rather have gotten new doors since they were damaged while work was being done in the house. The yard is very uneven and the fence has gaps at the bottom that we will need to fill or cover before getting a dog. As far as buying again, I would but I would definitely look way closer. During the walk through, we were not able to blue tape anything ourselves. We had to tell the manager where to tape and it was just very awkward telling a grown man to crawl on the floor and tape tiles that were uneven. It would have been nice to tape it ourselves and take our time to really look at the house. There were also some upgrades that we wish would have had a better explanation. We wasted some money on upgrades that were not needed if the design center clerk would have understood what we wanted and knew how to explain them. ... More

I bought an almost 500k brand new “fixer upper.” Trim work, paint, tile, and cabinets are all atrocious. I closed in December and there is still a long list of corrections to be made. There’s literally no sense of urgency by KHOV to fix these issues. That being said, Trey and Steve have been very helpful. If you’re looking to overpay and get a mediocre home, then welcome to The Lakes.

I am obsessed with our new home. It is exactly what we were looking for. Everyone who assisted us was great at listening to us and everything we needed. We were able to design our dream home!

Good experience as I am the first time home buyer. From detailed knowledge to walkthrough to going into all the details of the home, makes you more comfortable to move forward with your decision. Thing which is more satisfying is that after purchasing home you still have warranty for an year.

We have been in our new home since November 5th 2022 and still have issues to be resolved and continue to find concerns with the type of work performed during the build.

I always wanted a KHOV and I am so blessed that I was able to purchase one. I love my home. Forever grateful.
