K. Hovnanian® Homes Reviews

With this being our 5th new build and first with KHovnanian I can say they are by far the worst. Their workers are inexperienced off the street people who obviously do not know what they are doing and not skilled in the job they are doing. Painting and grout was horrible. We get no response as far as getting items that were wrong or never done. I would never buy another home from this builder again.

I had a great experience! My sales councilor was great and the builder was great he explained everything to me and made the walk through a smooth process.

From start to finish communication was excellent. They work as a team and it shows very well. If we ever move again (hopefully never again) we will be reaching out to Khov and use them again!

The house is overall nice. The neighborhood is so far nice and quiet, although we were told more families were here. The walls are paper thin, i mean you hear everything. If it's only 2 people in the house that's fine. It also sounds like a bear is on the side of the house when there is any wind or rain. The refrigerator is apartment sized. Walk in closet, walk in pantry, coffee bar, huge master bath shower and partially finished basement are my favorites.

Overall very good experience starting from visiting the sales office to closing of the house. Paul(sales agent) did a great job in providing all the necessary details about the site plan and construction updates. High class construction materials made it luxury homes.

Beautiful Townhome, excellent floor plan.

From the moment we agreed to purchasing our home in January 2022 up until our home was delivered in August 2022, my husband and I enjoyed every step of the home buying and home building experience! K.Hovnanian literally walks you through the entire process, providing your future homes’ information while answering any questions you may have. Even now that we are living in our beautiful new constructed home, K.Hovnanian are STILL answering our questions and making sure all our concerns are being responded to. Thank you to Ashley, who continuously kept me updated on the progress of my house throughout the entire process. Felt like she was honest and open throughout the process and was always easy to reach. Thank you Scott for your patience as we had to correct things a long the way. He always handled things quickly and without any push back. Great customer service throughout the whole process. Always available and quick to respond. Thank you Wyatt for helping when needed. Customer service was great by everyone I came across with KHov, even down to the mortgage loan officer Christi. The standard designs and finishes available are a lot higher quality compared to some other builders. However it would be nice to have more flexibility changing minor things in the floor plan as that seems like a good portion of the point of getting a house built instead of moving into a house that is already standing. Home buying from K Hovnanian was an awesome experience. Everyone that I interacted with were having deep knowledge on what they were doing, that was evident from the details and explanation that gave with very crisp clarity and in logical order. They were very transparent on everything, always available to answer and help. I recommend K Hovnanin homes to everyone who are looking for a new home to buy. You will get a super quality home in time and you will get to know the professionalism in this field as well.

We had a smooth buying experience. The staff was helpful, readily available, listened to us, answered our questions, and made us feel comfort.

Overall, the experience was pleasant. Everyone was professional and always helpful. However, the deign center could have helped us with suggestions and advice on the house, because we conducted the meeting over video. The woman who was in charge of the design portion wasn’t much help honestly. Things like fans, lighting, and kitchen lights, and other upgrades were not mentioned. Second of all, we were never told about the backyard grass is an upgrade. That was quite inconvenient and so we had to call another company to get the grass installed. Lastly, we’re still waiting for the gutter to be fixed. Just waiting for rain so you guys can see the leak. 9/10 ... More

Loved the ability to customize aspects of the home , unlike other builders. They stuck to the timeline for closing. Being a first time home buyer, it was a whole new world but the sales staff helped all the way through keeping us informed and answering our questions. Some work could have been more intentional & cleaner on the house itself but overall the experience was great

Nicholas, I feel very elated about the process from the initial signing to the final move in was very great. The quality of materials used is also commensurate with the value of their houses / homes. The builders team were always on top of things, they did exactly what they promised and also responds to issues even after move in, in a timely manner. I would encourage home buyers to know that KHOVANIAN homes have great sales persons and project managers who are willing to do anything within their capacity to help you get all need in your future home. I really had a great experience with KHOV.

Joe and James are great individuals. They're truly professionals and both made our experience great. Joe was amazing and was there every step of the way. James was extremely helpful once house was frame until now he still ask if we have any issues or concerns. This was an amazing experience!!!

My purchase of kHov home was easy and enjoyable! Neesha guided me through every step and encouraged me throughout. She and Claire provided invaluable advise and guidance. The construction team of Kevin, Joe and Austin bent over backwards to deliver a fabulous product. Overall, I can’t think of anything throughout this entire process that wasn’t first class!

Our experience with the Sales Rep Brian and the Mortgage Account Manager Shannon was awesome! They worked hard to make sure everything and made every effort to ensure our lending process ran smoothly. As for the quality of work on the home, it appears that the home was built in a rush to complete the closing process. There were misaligned doors, paint issues, flooring issues and even cabinet issues. I was disappointed with some of the sloppiness we saw after we started moving in. Then to get the contractors in to fix the issues is ridiculous. I would have rather waited a little longer so they could get the job done better than to have to deal with the headache of waiting for things to be fixed after the fact. ... More

We had the best homebuying experience with KHov. They kept their word every step of the way from signing the contract to closing. We have recommended KHov to anybody that will listen! This home is beyond what we could have ever expected.

The entire team at KHOV is professional and attentive to detail. Our sales representative Bill Bergin walked us through the process and was always a step ahead to notify us as the process moved forward. Our foreman Jimmy was awesome and Phil, our warrantee supervisor is amazing as well. Hats off to the entire team!

Quality of the finish work was not up to par for what I paid for the property. Very poor and sloppy I had a list of 38 items that needed to be fixed the day after I closed on my brand new home. I'm very thankful for my for my construction supervisor Gennaro who has continued to help resolve some of the issues. My sales representative Jackie was great as well

Much better than quality workmanship than I expected . Vicky was very helpful throughout the process.

Charlie was very helpful going over home details. I would definitely purchase with K Hovnanian again!
