I had a great experience with the sales offices - especially Joe. They listened and answered questions over and over again each time I asked with a smile. The construction team - especially James were amazing. Going above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with the work being done to the house. The only unpleasant experience was with the mortgage company through Khov in particular - Andrew. He was very unprofessional and did not have the knowledge and background to assist with a purchase that started in November and completed in July. Our experience from start to finish was great! Our builder tended to our request and responded in a timely manner. Jeremy was and still is a pleasure to work with. All of the different crafts handled their portion of the build with professionalism and excellent craftmanship.

Our builder Jeremy and sales rep Brandi were great. They were always quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had and helped us resolve them in a timely manner.

Plumbing for washer dryer install with something stuck in the pipes, so washer flooded the floors and had to be replace after the first wash. Moisture control came n drive up electric bill by having their fans on24/7 for 5 days. Nails sticking out on staircase poking my daughters feet. Electric outlet were poorly install, you can see the cut in the wall. Bathroom fans was not working properly and had to be fix. Overall production is poor. Quality built was overlook and ignore. Seems like they rush to get this house built. I wish there was a return policy on houses. I would not recommend this builder. Only good side is one of the site supervisor was very responsive and got things fix. But I rather not go through the trouble again or ever. All in all we paid a lot for this house and we expect good quality. Hope nothing else is wrong in the long run. ... More

Front office staff was great. Other than that overall service and craftsmanship was horrible. Spent a lot of my hard earned money on what seems to be a poorly built home. Carpet in multiple rooms not installed correctly with missing pieces. Electrical problems in garage and master bathroom. Nails, screws and trash left around home after being told it would be cleaned up prior to move in. Driveway had to be replaced. Issues with Stucoo in multiple areas. All concerns and issues were submitted like I was told to do. None of which have been addressed or taken care of it’s been over a month now. After submitting request I finally received a phone call a week later. In this conversation the K-hov rep stated that he would be out that Friday to address all problems and concerns. When that time had come he did not show up nor have the decency to give me a phone call and let me know he would not be showing up. The sales people josh and susan were great through the entire process. Their sales manager was rude and obnoxious. The warranty department is ridiculous. I have been waiting over a month and they have fixed 1 thing. My cabinets were supposed to be repaired ftom the final walk and haven’t heard a word

I know that this review is to go over the home buying process however I just wanted to note the responsiveness of the entire team. Last week my asthma started flaring up to what I assumed were just seasonal allergies, Wednesday and Thursday being the worst of it. On Friday I happened to go into the basement bathroom and looked up to see mold on the ceiling, the cause of my asthma flare up. I call KHovnanian warranty to explain the situation and received a call not 20 minutes later from Derek that the community manager would be coming by to take a look. Nick arrived maybe 15 minutes later, took pictures and called back into Derek to say that yes it was mold. This all took place by 12:00pm on a Friday. By 12:30 Derek called me back to let me know that a plumber would be out to take a look at the situation. By 4:45 the plumber was here, had cut out the mold spot, found and fixed the source of the leak and let me know that someone would be back out next week to fix the wall. Initially didn't get the response I needed, but overall they did good!

I found many small issues after closing (outlet not working, rusting railing, imcomplete caulking, broken remote...etc). The builder has been very responsive to fixing issues. To that I'm very happy and apprecaite. The overall built quality can be better for the price paid though.

I was looking for house for more than 1 year I couldn’t find the right house that I was looking for, finally I found K Hovnanian homes. K H had a very nice and professional customer service they answer my all questions and I decided to buy new townhouse with K H. overall I am so happy and I had a great experience

Had roof leaking issues and still not fixed. Khov don’t take good care of their buyers.

I will recommend to my friends to buy a house from khov without 2nd thought. Everything is good Trust, responsive and good house construction with good materials. Personal i like khov building construction.

Kenny and Giuseppe were both extremely friendly and easy to work with.

He was superb and promptly addressed our concerns.

We found that every facet of the purchasing and settlement process was extremely well done and professional. Despite KHov being a national builder, the journey felt close to home and had a home town feel.. Our one relatively significant community concern was the sod/irrigation system which thankfully has been satisfactorily addressed, however, the communication for this item could have been somewhat more open and fluid. Other than that, we are living the dream in our little “bedroom” by the beach community!

A nightmare everything was delayed and communication was mediocre

Did not go as well as planned but the major issues were with the Mortgage company. Way to many issues to list but it was an absolutely horrible experience. Some issues with the building process but that went pretty well and we settled on time. Mistakes were corrected and some had to do with supply chain issues.

The purchase of my very first home through this Builder was my worst life experience ever. I should have bought from Pulte, but could not get myself to part ways with this Builder's community's location, which I love. I still get nervous opening the door to the laundry room because all the machines together in the open like this look scary. I was also required to purchase a washer dryer for my condo, which was a nightmare of sorts. This too is another reason I physically get nervous opening the laundry room door to my very own home. The workmanship is horrible, and this condo is no longer a home I can imagine myself spending a decade in :( The move-in process was excruciatingly painful. I can't imagine what it will be like upon move-out when I actually have furniture :( I don't wish this experience upon my worst enemy, though I hope each and every person I encountered through this miserable process one day is on the other side to experience exactly what I did. ... Horrible home warranty, reminds me of notorious American Home Shield. Very poor craftsmanship. Their mortgage missed informed about interest locking time duration. Would conceal information about some important things such as this community has PUD which was never disclosed until we were about to close!

Home is lovely ; although a little tight on closets and the garage is way too small

As a first time homebuyer, KHov made the experience pleasant and seamless. Mike was very responsive even after the purchase was completed. They made the experience feel personalized. I would definitely consider purchasing from this builder again.

We closed on our 'dream home' with Khov in May of 2022. We waited over a year and a half for the home to be completed. We were sold on the idea of a custom home delivery, with craftsman who take pride in their work and deliver a top notch product. What we received was a nightmare. I've now converted into what feels like a full time construction project manager. The VP of operations for Khov got involved months ago and assured me he would personally make things right. Unfortunately, no progress has been made. We have serious safety concerns yet to be addressed that include electrical issues, exterior doors that do not function properly and a broken truss in our attic that was knowingly installed without appropriate guidance and sign-off of a structural engineer. We're now nearly 4 months in to what is a 12 month warranty period with no real progress. I've scheduled time away from work to accommodate repairs only to have the the people who are scheduled to do the work not show up. This process has been immensely stressful on my family and we could not be more disappointed in the experience we've had with Khov thus far. The only positive experience was with our sales person and construction manager throughout the build process. Our entire experience from the initial meeting , to the purchase, to our closing was extremely smooth. Beautiful home for a very reasonable price. Every person involved in our home was professional, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in meeting our needs and expectations.
