We had a great experience and love our home.

The quality of the Home and the Caliber of these builders is just exceptional. I absolutely love love love my home. From the day the foundation was laid right up to move-in (and even now 4 weeks out) everyone has kept me informed, pleased and connected with me by phone, pics and in person every week along the build. Soo capable, soo nice and excellent at what they do!! I'll say it again, I love my home!!!

People with KV Homes were really nice. Very professional.

Overall, I'm satisfied with our new K Hov home; however, the process to get there was a tedious challenge that required a lot of communication. Thankfully, the sales and construction team were relatively quick to respond to the issues we experienced. Able to temporarily stay with family nearby, I was lucky enough to visit our house frequently as it underwent all phases of construction from framing to close. Along the way, I identified several critical issues with what was being installed -not with the quality of workmanship as much as the accuracy of following what was specified. If I didn't have the luxury of being able to witness the ongoing construction, then my house would have been constructed with several errors requiring rework. It was not a pleasant experience to feel like I had to be construction manager of my own home. I wished K Hov would send out their QA team regularly in order to detect these issues before I could. I found the overall quality of workmanship, which is confined to the local Arizona labor pool and skillset, to be very mediocre at best. Finishes (drywall especially but also paint) were done very sloppily, not to the quality you expect on a home you spent your life saving for. The design of the floorplan and the finishes that were specified are all very appealing, but the execution needs work. Everything is late. Quality of the building is less than good. Builder rep is not responding on time. Non-conformance list submitted was not started yet. Electronic lock that supposed to be installed per specification was not installed and was requested additionally. Marks on hardwood, the landing is unfinished only subfloor and many other issues are not addressed yet. I submitted pictures for defects. Only good experience I had with the sales team at the beginning and during all process.

It all started great with Tricia. The minute we opted to go with an external lender (because KHov could not accommodate our needs), the attitude from KHov changed. The stones in our house was not what we asked for and the error was caused by the sales person transcribing the name of the stone in the selection list. KHov started blaming a sales person who left and failed to own their mistakes and just tried to escape from the situation. Even after several escalations, there were no options being considered at all. I know this is a common issue and usually builder fix it or compensate by reducing portion of the stone upgrade or refunding it. But Matt was so adamant and there were no alternative options considered. We finally ended up with a major exterior portion of our house with a very dull stone covering we didn't want. They prefer for the buyer to go with their own financing and title company. When you go to external lender, their attitude changes and support reduces. Christopher from finance was very thorough and details oriented, Scott from the building team was very supportive. Other than this, the communication and support was below average!!! ... More

This experience has been horrible. On the day we moved into our dream home we had no hot water or air conditioning. We had to go several days without either and it was 104 degrees most days. We were not provided fans. We had to buy them. My daughter has 4 children and her 4-month old daughter had a heat rash due to the heat in the house. It took a week for the HVAC company to figure out the problem. How did this house pass inspection with no air conditioning or hot water. Then three weeks later, we had a water leak in the island and behind the refrigerator and have been without a kitchen for a week going on two. ... More

Elizabeth and Tracy were the absolute best I have ever bought a house through. Elizabeth “ held my hand” all the way through. She was there at every step of the way with what ever I needed. Kenny is on top of everything and still is. Helping where ever needed. It has truly been a pleasure buying this house because of these great employees. You are lucky to have them.

Signed contract in December 2021, construction began in January and closed on property in June. Exceptional experience with KHov during these times when a lot of builders are experiencing a lot of delays

Easy process, friendly environment and respectful people, and quality work.

The overall process of buying a home from KHov was relatively easy and stress-free. The sales team guided me through the process of the various steps along the way and I was kept up to date on the progress of the build through weekly pictures. We had a few initial issues (as is always the case with new-builds) and they were addressed right away. Everyone along the way (sales, builders, designers, etc.) was friendly. Probably my only issue with the KHov process was that the standard cabinets, flooring, and fixtures were incredibly basic / cheap, essentially forcing an upgrade on almost everything. It would have been a more pleasant experience if at least some of the standard features were at least mid-level in quality. ... More

My house buying experience has been truly an unforgettable one. When I began this process, things were pretty much straight forward, seemingly less. Working with Sabrina was a delight, I went the design center, very excited, they were extremely helpful. I decided to use KHOV financing... BIG mistake... From the very first time I spoke with my loan officer Diandra things were chaotic. She called to inform me that she was unable to pull "One" of my credit reports, which I thought was odd since she was able to obtain the other two! She proceeded to confirm my SSN, stating "ins you social 000-00-XXXX? Completely baffled, I asked her to repeat the social, which she did.... Please advise who has an SSN the is 000-00-XXX??? In a different conversation we were discussing my interest rate, estimated closing cost. I asked if my interest could be locked in at the current rate, she answered YES without hesitation, however on the document I was asked to sign, the locked rate was not reflected, when I questioned this, she replies, my apologies, go ahead and sign it and I will correct it before. I believed her. As time went on and interest rate sore, I felt secure, because my trusted loan officer assured me that my interest rate was lock, therefore I had no concerns. In Mid April approximately 50 days to closing, I received a call from Diandra advising me that that I no longer qualify for my home loan because my DTI was too high... With no explanation what this means or even what the next step would be, she asked if I had received a raise, I advise no, she said "ok, let me see what I can do. I'll call you back". She never called back. I was left all evening and night with this, not knowing what is going on thinking that I don't have anywhere for my family to go. After waiting for Diandra to call me back, which she did not.. The process continues to get worse, so bad that I refused to work with her, which required the director of the department Karl to take over. When the loan processor Nicole took over, things got a little better, however the morning BEFORE I was due to close, I received an email advising they have not received my employment verification requesting my assistance to obtain it. As the day went on, although I advise Nicole I will work on it from my end, what was originally request, became a demand, then a threat, stating I cannot get my HR department to send information I will not be able to close on my home the next morning. Fortunately, I was able to obtain the required information. Literally up the LAST moment I had issues with the finance department. I would NEVER advise anyone to use KHOVANIAN financing... NEVER!! EVER!! It is very very sad that the terrible experience I had with the finance department has tainted what could have been a special home buying experience for me. I can only hope there have been significant changes in that department. I would like to acknowledge Sabrina, Josh, Angel. Heidi and Jon with Eastern Title. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the contractor that did our initial walk thru, he was very knowledgeable and helpful, hopefully he can be identified and acknowledged as well. ... More

We got a great value on our unit.

Always worked with us on a timely fashion as we lived out of state. From the phone calls , to setting up meetings, and the initial walk through. We worked with Lacy which was a joy in itself. We are excited to be living in a new home and neighborhood that represents such high standards. Having served on many public building additions and new builds this was a pleasant experience. Jeff and Skye made the final walk thru with us . We felt very welcomed, all questions were answered, and what little touch ups needed where taken care of.

I would never recommend anyone to buy this product

So far been in our place for less then a month and already finding many flaws. Doors uneven and not closing properly. Cheap paint that are chipping, stucco not filled around the exterior light. With a bunch of excuses with why certain imperfections around a brand NEW HOUSE that was just built. At the end of the day you get what you paid for. Quick build with cheap products and materials. A few great folks and some that will provide great service and care. And some that will initially show that they care, but once you close and you receive the keys it's "slow" to resolve issues. Really sucks to feel this way, but as a first-time home owner this was a great accomplishment. Unfortunately, it has been disappointing to have problems arise less than a month in BRAND NEW-BUIT HOME! If you want more customized options and better quality in a home I would suggest looking at other builders. You may have to pay a little more, but it would be worth the extra cost. ... More

We have had a disappointing experience from start until finish with LFH. During our initial contract signing we weren’t offered some upgrades that we later found out were offered. During the build, we worked with a builder who is thankfully no longer there but never communicated as promised, never caught any shotty work (which we personally did during the build and had them redo). We missed our close date by 3 weeks but only told days before we wouldn’t close on time. Two weeks into moving in, our dishwasher leaked which has resulted in needing new cabinets and flooring. We have been living with open subflooring (think splinters and stubbed toes) for weeks. Cabinets aren’t set to be replaced for another month. Throughout all of this, we have never once heard from a VP / higher up at the company even though we requested to speak with them several times. The experience has been incredible stressful and I personally cannot recommend this builder. ... More

Every single person we dealt with from Khov was fantastic. I have worked in several service oriented businesses and the Khov family gets it. We really were blown away with the open and constant communication. Nia was our first contact with Khov and She was superb at reaching out making sure we had no questions and consistent updates throughout our buying experience. Craig also was always willing to answer questions reach out with updates and ensure we trusted our product. Adam has continued to keep up with that communication and knowledge about our home that we need. We also opted to finance through Khov Mortgage after comparing them to a list of competition they earned our business. Galina and Diane were great at navigating this crazy time to finance and made the process smooth and transparent. We have only had one issue with an appliance that was unfortunate but the team has done everything they could to make it right and we appreciate the effort put in by each of them. The team overall was very helpful throughout the home buying process. Brandon Rolko was very upfront & down to earth while advising us and Bob & Kayla did a stellar job communicating throughout the build process and addressing concerns. There were some minor issues such as door framing that did not get fully resolved but overall we were very happy. Wish we would have known more about options communicated upfront, but we came in with an initially lower budget than we settled on. It was not clear to us that we had design room visit ability which would have been nice. The home build was much faster than expected and we had a good experience getting graded. We were lucky to settle on a home of our price in the current market, but did find it a bit expensive. Great team overall, could have used a bit more cross communication but was glad to be involved in the process with them all! ... More

We enjoyed most of our experience with KHOV. There were some cons prior, in between, and after the build, but we’re glad they give that one year insurance.

This has been a lengthy process but Angelica has kept me update during the whole process. She shows such Enthusiasm and trustworthiness during the process. This has been a great experience and I am very pleased with my home.

The overall process was fabulous. As stated prior, the home construction industry has many challenges. The management of resources, manpower and supplies to deliver a new home in a timely fashion is paramount. The KHOV production team has done a great job staying on top of the issues and resolving quickly. The execution of the construction phase, being managed by Tom and Jeff has been excellent amongst the challenges. It's not an easy job, but their transparency and professionalism is a welcome sight.
