Everything was a smooth easy process

To begin with the house is lovely but nobody seems to care about our punchlist . we did a walk-through that was useless almost none of the issues were addressed we moved in and they continue to be either ignored or discredited . when there are some serious issues such as bathrooms flooding because of inappropriate or ill placed glass enclosures tile floors that are pitched the wrong way . our glass sliding doors are very difficult to open and close there’s lots of leakage of water and air the air conditioning duct system was a joke too. I had to have it repaired myself . the cabinetry finish is damaged or I’ll applied . These issues are to name a few. The process of buying, designing and building my home was made possible by these four people. It was the most positive experience that I ever could have imagined. Each of these stages of the process were handled by these professionals who were extremely knowledgeable in their area of expertise. Both Lisa and Sam worked side by side with my husband and I. Any question or concern we had, we would get a response quickly. Sam made sure to give us weekly updates on the progress of the house. We had the best experience for our first home purchase!

It was a good experience with the builder's team. the quality is above average.

Through out process poor communication lack of updates. Repeated delays. Port quality workmanship. Cement problems, plumbing problems, siding problems, trim problems, paint and drywall problems floor problems, the list goes on. Everywhere I look something isn’t right. Disappointing. Frustrating. Now faced with being home for multiple appointments to correct what should have been identified prior to close! The only pleasant process was the mortgage process. Ben and Pete were communicative knowledgeable and available.

Wonderful experience. They were with me every step of the way and guided me to the finish line. This was the least stressful experience I've ever had buying a home. I love that they have a mortgage company and homeowners insurance company available and the rates are fantastic.

It was our first time building a home and I enjoyed that I didn’t have to pick the small details because the packages they provided included everything we wanted. The sales representative and project manager was great. Everything was seamless and their was only small delays regarding light fixtures but nothing major which is to be expected during a pandemic. All in all it was a great experience and I will be building again with them in the future.

The sales associate Vicky was great during the entire timeline from selection of the home to the closing . Though this was our second home and located out of state , she kept us undated during construction and assisted with the critical milestones. It was a pleasure dealing with sales associate - Vicky for this purchase

My experience with K Hov was overall very pleasant. I was informed of the entire process, kept infomed constantly , and truly I felt liked I developed a friend ship with Nicole and Garrett. I had many questions and they were always fully addresses. Nicole still calls to ensure I am settling in and Garrett has stopped by many times as I flag him down he comes in my home and address many issues right on the spot. As a realtor , I recommend my clients to this community sharing my experience.

I purchased my K. Hovnanian house in 2021. I contracted when the land was just dirt and bushes and with no model house to check on and watched it being built for the entire community. It was long nearly 7 months experience and was very excited being a first-time buyer. The salesperson Christine was very clear and little accommodative on the schedules, and I liked it but on the mortgage process, I felt K. Hovnanian is bit higher prices and went with my own lender. It was stated, I will get golden key invite and gift baskets when handing over the keys, but nothing happened. I see for other homeowners it did happen. I was very disappointed being the first-time buyer. K. Hovnanian need to improve on this to be consistence across every homeowner. Once I was handed the keys, I didn't have to deal with the sales office any longer and any issues are taken by the 1st year warranty and the customer service are very professional in taking care of all the issues reported and are fixed Overall I am happy with K. The buying process was very easy. Mostly because if Kristina. She was very helpful, quick to respond and provided solutions right away! The house it self, I am choosing to believe that what’s under the drywall was done well. But the craftsmanship is definitely not what I was expecting. It was done sloppy, lazy and with little quality. Paint splatter, holes not filled, roughy and broken boards that weren’t even the same thickness. Air vents completely bent and asked about it, the builder Logan said “it’s the way they go”. Days after, a handyman came and fixed them in minutes. My closet is falling off because they did not anchor them to any stud, the garage ceiling and taping all over it was done completely wrong and it’s all peeling off. Massive holes outside as well. Great for rodents to come in. Overall, the details which is what one sees, were not carefully done. Seems they were rushing to get the home done and didn’t care what it looked like. Ski the lady who has been helping us with warranty, has been very helpful and patient. If only the builder had been as careful, we could be looking at a way nice looking home. ... More
