To start our salesperson did not promptly return calls about questions we had. She also told us the house came with 2 outside compressors for air conditioning. She was more inclined to give an answer the customer would want to hear than what the truth was. Our project supervisor, Troy came across to me as cocky and lay the blame on somebody else or had an excuse. The last thing that made the whole process terrible was the home builder charged us a large sum of money because the closing date was not communicated properly to anyone especially us. There is a lot more detail that can be shared with whoever cares but our overall experience was a disaster but when the builder holds all the cards at the end you either follow their instructions or forfeit a lot of money. Nick was our sales rep and he was amazing no complaints there very up front, keeps you updated with pictures and txt through the whole building process. However , the real issues are when it’s all done. You are scheduled to do an inspection and get things that need to be fixed addressed before closing and that does not happen at all. Lots of paint issues , had a huge concrete hole in the garage , cabinets have the corned messed up and they don’t know how to lay down caulk correctly what so ever. When the caulking issues was addressed I was told the following “ I need to lower my expectations because these houses are built for the common people that have no idea how construction works and I needed to inspect things from a 6ft distance to which if it looks good then than their is no issue with it”. This was their head builder in charge by the way. Grass was laid like crap, my whole backyard and front yard is not even leveled nicely like the Trophy houses in the community. Paint material used is of very poor quality that just touching it makes it go from white to grey (discoloration). They used a flat tone instead of a gloss paint. The texture in one of my bedroom’s ceiling is awful with poor taping and texture lines visible even at 6ft away! Fence around the property is so uneven and you can see many spots were they Didn’t nail it on to the support because the nails are fully exposed. ... More

The house is nice but has many issues that still need to be addressed. Some issues are minor and cosmetic, while others need immediate attention. The most significant problem stems from the electrical switches. Many don't work. While we understand that the middle switches are designed for ceiling fans that are not yet installed, there are others that just don't work at all.

My home buying experience was excellent.

Let's just say, the home has too many imperfections. If you have a job that you're not good at, quit and find something else to do. The door frame/stopper doesn't come down to the floor, there are holes where there should be some form of grout. The corners of each wall were there is a door frame was never painted. We had electrical issues that took 3 trips to correct. We have only lived in this home for 1 month and I am so nervous at to what else we will find. The responsiveness to our issues has been slow. I cannot put a bar of soap in the bathtub because it comes right out. The tub is hollow in certain areas. ... More

Did not realize until after all was done completely but saw signs. Our account rep. was not looking out for us at all. misguided information. would NOT recommend this builder to anyone.

Overall a good home/well built but it’s the small details and warranty work that has been absolutely horrible. I’ve been in my house for almost 6 weeks and yet to enjoy it. The tile grout in majority of the house was installed wrong/has a haze to it and they’ve attempted to correct the issue 3 times. They are on there 4 time coming out and hopefully this works. Just be aware of the small details and make sure everything is done before moving in and closing.

Wonderful experience and I was having very nice experience with June.

I want to start with the fact that overall I am happy with the home. The overall process was fairly good. We did have a last minute delay with only a couple (2 or 3 I can't remember exactly) weeks notice which caused my family to scramble at the last minute to find a place to live. What is most frustrating about the delay is that it was something that could have been avoided with better planning. All KHOV needed to do was to ensure that the gas meter was installed in time instead of waiting until the last minute so that they didn't incur carrying costs with a gas bill. The construction of the home has the feel of quality building and we do not hear people talking or walking from across the home. The materials used are not the most expensive around but are of good quality. Although during construction we asked for KHOV to add 1 ethernet cable to one room that we were going to use as an office and we got the run around. Instead of telling us no, which is what ultimately happened, they strung us along. Apparently running a $20 ethernet cable was too much trouble for them. The design of the home has good flow and having 2 bedrooms with private baths gives us more options. The design of the kitchen and bathrooms were both done well. Even the kitchen cabinets are of good quality. One issue with the design is that we have a white backsplash with a cream colored countertop, I mean who does that. And no we did not have a choice in these options. Even though we asked about changes we were told the process was too far along, even though they were still studding out walls when we bought the place. The finishing of the home is sub-par at best. Some spots I would even call very poor. The flashing around the outside of some of the windows looks like the caulk was put on by a kid finger painting. The interior paint has plenty of drip spots and is so cheap that is is not cleanable. It appears to be eggshell so that it helps to hide the sheetrock finish imperfections. We will need to have the entire interior painted at some point. I have pointed out a lot of the negatives because those are the things that stick in your mind so I want to be sure to set the record straight. I am happy with this home overall and if given the chance I would purchase it again. The home has a great layout, plenty of windows and we love the double ovens in the kitchen. The sale office was great throughout the process. We were able to have a frame walk walkthrough and the team who helps and assists with any issues after is just as good. The quality of the KHOV homes and experience we had I would definitely recommend them again. Communicate is good and so is the follow through.

Things took a little longer than hoped due to supply issues and turnover, but Kristina kept us in the loop the whole way. The home is perfect... Zero complaints!

We love our new house and a great experience all the way through. They kept us informed and the closing process was beyond easy. Definitely can’t go wrong with K Hov!!!!

We were the 2nd people to sign the contract in the community. To start with we were not explained about the different elevations and we missed out on the porch. After moving in we noticed that the floors are rising. We found this on the day of our closing and they fixed it but it is starting to rise again. The master bathroom floors have a problem that is making the water leak from the great room ceiling. It’s been maire than 10 ldays and nobody has come to fix the bathrooms. We are a family of 5 and have been using only 1 bathroom. Very inconvenient. Right behind our backyard there is a water puddle which is not draining properly and this is causing bugs and spiders crawling inside and around our house. This needs to be treated immediately for maintain hygiene. We have kids and it’s making it very hard for them. A complaint has been sent about this already. In person and via email as well. Some part of the house is insulated with paper instead of wool. Is that normal ... More

I would them to know that the workmanship was deplorable. Josh, who unfortunately left the company was responsive and interested in correcting the problems by holding the worker accountable. I was very upsetting when he left. Logan is outstanding, however he is overworked.

We have had a very pleasant experience purchasing home from Khov. They have done an excellent job and the entire team has been friendly and at the same professional in all interactions.

Home was built in great quality. Cannot go wrong with K Hov.

10/10, would build with KHov again!
