Victoria and Josh (construction) were absolutely amazing to work with. Everyone else was not great. I hated the title company we had to work with because KHOV wouldn’t allow us to use a different title company. Our lender was even worse and would not respond or answer questions and when he did it was not a positive experience. Our actual home is gorgeous, however we have had things break or be broken upon move in and it’s been really annoying to deal with when it’s a brand new home. My advice to you is to do your research, make sure it’s the perfect house, and bring a realtor.

Purchasing a home is inherently a complex process; however, the lack of communication between the realtor, loan officer, and underwriters made it unnecessarily challenging and stressful. Additionally, the builder’s contractor left several touch-ups incomplete, and I received the keys before final cleaning. To further complicate matters, the cleaning service did not arrive as scheduled, and when they eventually did, the home was already occupied and the carpets were being replaced. She never came back. The small room and the house lacked proper insulation, causing overheating until I requested additional insulation. There were also electrical problems, including non-functional light switches, which required an electrician visit. Unfortunately, the interaction was unprofessional and dismissive. Looking back, we are beyond happy that we bought Khov

Sales team is great. Supervisors on site are awesome. Warranty process is quick but not. They respond quick but it takes several visits from several trades to address issues. And some are ongoing issues about same item. It seems that everybody on the team is working hard but they could use a few more employees to help with their workload.

The whole team was great and made a great home for my family

The home finishings that are offered by Khov create beautiful aesthetics. Repairs were expeditiously tended to.

We found our home when all of the design selections had been made and the home was substantially finished. Chad was and continues to be absolutely amazing. Our “blue tape” walk through and final walk through went great and all issues were addressed.

We had a good experience from start to finish.

Bob, Grant and team were phenomenal.

Basement was not cleaned well. Concrete on grinder and sump pump

From the sales agents, the finance, and the quality control our experience was extraordinary.

They did a good job. Finally I got the beautiful house. Suggest to buy their house, good material, serious services.

There was an amendment to my lot decreasing its size that was not disclosed. I asked KHov about a lot line discrepancy a few months before closing, and was ghosted by the salesperson. Just before closing I was texted a picture of a new site plan that they said was being approved by the City. This too didn’t match what was eventually shown on the legal property description. It was clear that the KHov team didn’t want to correct this, and was only trying to string me along to get to the closing date. Unfortunately, the only manner of correcting this issue is litigation. The whole experience of shopping and finaly buying was smooth for me.I fell in love with the design, uniqueness and quality of the materials used for the house. I would say customized,and classic.The building team were professional, attentive and delivered to detail.I would surely recommend and buy again from khovanian.

Financing was the worst experience. This is my 3rd home and the in house financing was atrocious

Yet to hear anything other than issues and poor build quality from all the residents I have met till now.

Our overall experience with our new home has been great. The layout and design met most of our expectations, and we’re happy to finally be settled in. That said, there are a few areas where we feel things could have been better. The interior paint quality was below what we expected for a new home, and we ended up having the entire house repainted with a higher-grade product. Additionally, we wish we had been given more detailed information about our lot before purchase. It was marketed as a “Premium Lot,” but after construction, the grading of the land changed and the view turned out to be less appealing than we had anticipated. Overall, we love our new home but hope future buyers are provided with more transparency regarding lot grading and material quality. We had a very positive experience with buying a Hovnanian home. Their sales rep was extremely courteous and helpful. They were quite flexible in accommodating our needs but within their standard offering. The house was ready on the due date and the closing was uneventful. All in all, this was a great buying experience.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with K. Hovnanian has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I want to warn anyone considering them. As someone experienced in real estate and construction, I have never dealt with such a mess. First off, the problems started before we even signed the contract. We were misled about lot availability. They told us the lot we wanted was not available, only for us to find out later that it was and they were just holding it for someone else they knew. That was the first red flag. Then right after we signed, they pushed our delivery date from April 31st to the end of June, literally the day after we signed. And then they pushed it again to the end of July. They did not break ground for four months and blamed the county, but we found out it was just them dragging their feet and changing their building schedule. It only got worse from there. They completely messed up our home choices. We chose a certain elevation, they gave us the wrong one. We picked paint colors, they painted something entirely different. They put in the wrong tiles in the bathroom. The list goes on and on. We were lied to repeatedly. For example, they told us we could only have either a walkout or an egress window in the basement, and then we found out everyone else got both. Now we have to pay extra to fix that. At the pre-closing walkthrough, we flagged a ton of issues and they swore they would fix them. By the final walkthrough, only a few were done and they promised again they would handle the rest after closing. Of course, once we closed, they turned around and said it was out of their scope. The quality is just atrocious, things even a beginner would not mess up. We had wavy drywall, chipped stairs, electrical issues, and the toilet paper holders were falling off the walls. Every single step of the way, it was one lie or mistake after another. In short, this was an extremely horrible and deceitful experience from start to finish. Spare yourself the headache and avoid K. The sales team fell short of their due diligence. I was long distance and was told many things that I was unable to verify the time. Parking is one of them. Sales was confident that I would be able to park my car in the garage. I cannot. Acoustics between floors is slipshod. Cabinetry and doors are not held together very well. Spacing between apartment buildings to make ease of parking in the garage is very minimal.

Builder could do better job. 1. DId not check that all new appliances were in working condition before closing. 2. Closing aggressively, but not following the safety of homeowners for their safety in active construction zone. Especially when moving big vehicles. 3. Not following local, state, or federal safety rules in active construction zone. 4. Did not pay the land taxes were due at the closing time, it is my headache now, I paid to avoid accruing the interest, but waiting to get reimbursed builder share. No resolution yet? 4. Other bills were also not paid, spending lot of time to resolve the issues. 5. HOA management is not user friendly (forget the welcoming the homeowners, they do not help when they need help). Created problems, one open pending issue! Working on it... 6. Life is busy, if these problems were addressed properly before closing, the homeowners will have fewer problems once they move in. Make homeowners life easy as is they have lot of issues to deal during moving? 7. The community center is not ready yet, lot of homeowners already accupied. 8. The good part is no one knows who is on the board/HOA. This information should be public knowledge as they are taking most critical decisions on behalf of association. I am satisfied with the sales person Peter, who was straightforward and was direct which made our home buying experience smooth. However on the contrary, the quality and workmanship of house is horrible. Cost cutting in all corners. Entrance sign is the pride for the builder and owners of the community. The community entrance sign will speak for itself which is the sample for how all the building were constructed. We understand everything can’t be perfect but majority can’t go wrong. Just to name a few, Carpets were soiled and were not properly trimmed to corners of the wall. Vinyl floors are uneven (you can clearly feel the bump while you walk on the floor) and makes noise within 2 months of moving in..HOA is much more horrible. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. ... More

These homes initially attracted me because of the luxury vibe at a cheaper price tag. However, now I see that you truly get what you pay for. The workmanship is shotty and the products/fixtures are very cheap. These are things you don’t notice initially. They put these houses up so fast and the final work product is ridiculous.

We were lie to from the beginning starting with Ronda and George. We have still not gotten things fixed that were noted at inspection and were promised to be fixed. The house wes poorly constructed and no inspection was done.
