We chose KHov because of the layouts and Brandi. She was so helpful with helping us decided on a home and walk us through all the options. We loved how easy she made the process and how informative she was. However, the closing felt rushed and the house we moved into was not the picture perfect home I believed we were signing for. We went through 2 walk throughs with blue tape to point out areas that needed work and yet I am typing this as I stare at some blue tape on a baseboard that still needed work. Christian was very nice about listening to my concerns with the “finished” product but more than a handful of minor issues around the house are still not done. It’s frustrating because each tiny issue alone is not a huge deal but when I go to clean up around the house the sloppy finishes around the trim work, window frames, and kitchen cabinets is such a let down. So although I would not go out of my way to talk negatively about KHov, I would definitely advise friends looking to buy a house to look at all options, ask more questions, and be prepared to delay closing until the house is actually finished. ... The experience was good until the end when I had to actually deal with my Construction Manager. Everything was to his standards time frame and no concern for the Customers input.

Great experience starting from the moment you walk into their office. Our sales consultant, Haley Wist, VERY helpful all throughout the process as well as all of the K.Hovnanian team really treated us like family. We are very happy and excited with our beautiful new home.

The home buying process was a disappointment. It was not the 10 week delay as much as it was the lack of transparency and accountability about the delay. Ultimately I closed with 23 hours notice. I am told by visitors that the home looks nice. I do not see that. I see the numerous finishing details that need to fixed (e.g. spackle on the baseboard, the wall was painted around the light switch, the front door lock is crooked, the banister was not sanded, messy caul finishing in the kitchen, paint on trim around all the showers, etc.). All fixable but disappointing.

The home buying process with K. Hovnanian was a great experience from start to finish. The best part about the process was receiving those weekly email updates about every step that was going on with your home, this was definitely a plus especially if you couldn’t be there to see the process.

Russ, Dave, and their team were awesome and made the first time home buyer experience the best one for me me. If I was rich I would buy another based on the experience alone. Thank you for helping me through the process from start to finish

Good experience overall. The staff were wonderful. There were minor defects in the workmanship we only found after closing. Before that, closing did seem kind of rushed. Nobody is perfect. But we are happy with the home and staff.

Amazing job done by Danielle, good communication throughout the process. And thankful for everyone that delivered and made the closing so easy.

Samuel was very responsive and attentive to requests although some contractors did not do a good job like the vinyl upgraded floor. Samuel and Adrian did a great job overall. We closed on November 30,2021 under pressure from Manager Mike that told vinyl floor contractor not to fix the whole floor properly as there was no time or spare materials to fix it on time and they did not want to delay the closing a few days. I consider that not a good practice as now we moved in and need to let the contractor come and fix the floor while we live in the home. I would recommend that Mike does not pressure clients to close on the home when the floor is not ready or fixed properly just to close. KHOV had 8 months to build the house including the floor and everything was ready except the floor. We sent emails and reported the issue since the day we saw the floor problems (two weeks before closing and this was never resolved properly before closing. We were under the impression the vinyl flooring was going to be snap and lock boards with vinyl but instead it is the cheap thin version that you glue to the floor. ... More

I have worked with this home builder in Florida, and they are very personable and very courteous. Great team.

Started the process of buying this house in July 2020 did not settle until November 2021. The global pandemic along with supply chain and labor issues were significant factors for our late close. Our initial superintendent left the company and our house was neglected and not worked on for months as homes around ours were completed and closing. We traveled to Delaware every weekend to address these issues as other homes around us began to close rapidly. Shoddy foundation and interior finish work held up our close as we refused to settle until major issues were fixed. If we had not been proactive with our house, it would probably not be finished today. Stay on top of your superintendent and his boss to complete your home .Our advice is to address all issues and refuse to settle until your home is completely acceptable to you. Hire an outside inspector prior to settlement who can help uncover any issues that need to be addressed. Do not get pressured into settling on your home until it is perfect - you will then get in line with all the other homeowners in this development who are waiting to have their punch lists completed. ... That is a basic home to buy for to much money. A lot of missing touch ups that need to be correct before letting the buyer move in

Contractors did minimum work to get the job done. The designs are nice. Be over the top on checking in on your house. Even after you are things will still not be done correctly. Communication will not be great either.

Great quality and trustworthy environment

My experience with KHovnanian builder was spectacular. Staff and managers are so helpful when it comes to status update of your house. Even before and after you close your house. They are still there to help you with anything that you request.

Leslye in sales was truly amazing from start to finish. The design team was professional and helpful. Scott, Aaron, and John answered every question we had and then some. Anything we needed touched up before closing was done quickly and efficiently. We had a great experience and love our new home!

Customer service was 100/10. Yes, 100 out of 10. Everybody was so pleasant, helpful, and awesome!

Thank goodness for Alan texting me every week, or I would have gone crazy.

They do a very good job building the homes, they can do a better job in the master bathroom, I feel like it should stand out a lot better than the other bathrooms. Am still waiting on my garage door to come, it shouldn't take this long to get a door.

From the moment that we signed the papers to the day we moved in, everything went smoothly and according to schedule. Jeremy was great and kept us informed of the progress. The house is beautiful! We love everything about it and are so happy that we made the decision to build with K Hov!

Everything from purchasing to building to living in our new home was an easy and exiting process thanks to K.Hov. Lacey our sales consultant was extremely helpful and made sure we got the house we always wanted. She was just as excited as we were every step of the way and sent us updates regularly. By the end of the process Lacey became like another family member that we got to share exciting updates with. Argelio our builder was also great! He would send us regular updates of our home and made sure that all of our concerns and questions were addressed.
