Had a Great experience...with this Builder!!!!

I like the home layout, the area, and the fact that the build was on time. However, there were many issues that I experienced. They were very hesitant during the build for me to have my own inspectors visit. This was a huge red flag, but I had them come anyways and there were a handful of small fixes they had to do. I’ve lived here for 3 months and I’ve noticed several craftsmanship issues including painting around doorknobs ( so you need to repaint when replacing doorknobs), a leaky shower enclosure, terribly flat paint throughout, and door knobs that are falling apart. They also don’t manage the contractors very well. I was having somebody install my lawn and one of the contractors drove a bobcat on it DURING the install. The lawn guys had to repair and KHov did not even respond when I told them. The contractors were also using my water so I thought I had a leaky outdoor spigot. The water pressure is terrible. I only had enough pressure to get one (new) sprinkler working. KHov blamed it on my hoses, but believe me, that’s not the case. And the cherry on top is when they hired somebody to come dig up my yard and expose electrical wires WITHOUT notifying me. They destroyed a large section of my front yard and left a huge hole for my kids to fall in to. It’s still there! Still haven’t heard anything from KHov. They think they can do whatever they want. I am thrilled to say so far I am happy from the overall process, the sales agent, and the construction managers are super great and helpful though with morgage officer initially has some issues but later she switch to be helpful. The material is great but only paint has some issues it soon change with touching hand or if you do touch paint the color is change and few construction standards could have been an option in baths. Anyhow overall happy besides the paint and I like the way the Construction manager is helpful!

The septic System failed in 5 days with only me using it. I talked to neighbors who said that the system was dug up just days before I took ownership which is deceitful at best. . The house is uninhabitable and thank God for Publix toilets. Run from this builder.

The experience with the challenges in the home building field had this process for a first time homebuyer very confusing and frustrating. The KHov team did ok with communicating the challenges, but could’ve done better.

Little or no contact during build phase. Annoying.

What a great experience every step of the way. The sales team, the build team and the warranty team have been above and beyond. They all communicate extremely well individually and as a team. This was my first time building a home and we couldn't have asked for a better team or experience.

From the day I walked into the sales center to the day I closed on my home, it was an smooth process. When I had questions or wanted something changed it was done in a timely manner.

While somewhat disappointed in the quality for the price I paid, the quality of people that work for KHOV here in Liberty is top notch. I could not have been happier with my salesperson and home builder.

An Easy home building experience

Issues were always addressed quickly and the builder was always super responsive. It was incredibly easy home buying process and I have no issues with the quality of the work.

KHOV was great to work with. Construction Manager Jeff & Lacey in sales did a great job keeping us up to date with every process. Answered any questions we had in a timely manner. I would recommend a new home build with KHOV to anybody!

The sales and construction management staff here at Galloway Ridge have been great, They have kept me updated throughout the building process and very responsive to issues. After move in, the staff has been responsive to lining up repairs. I would have to say the KHOV team in Galloway Ridge is top notch. After completion of all homes, this development here in Cave Creek, will be a place others will want to live!

I believe you need to walk your home 1-2 times per week to check options selected, quality and workmanship. You need to notify your builder weekly on what concerns you have and follow up weekly that they are addressed. If this happens you will get a home that looks good!

Truly happy with the overall experience from start to finish. Made adjustments for me when asked, and was attentive to my needs.

We contracted to complete a single-family house in December 2020. Estimated completion date was July 1, 2021. We were told that houses closed at that time hit their estimated date. By March, we were told the date would be in August. The basement was not poured until April. Right after we sold our existing house in May, the date changed to September 15. OK, 2.5 months late, we can live with that. We were then scheduled for a pre drywall inspection in early July. No communication when that date was missed. Finally, by mid-August when our emails to our sales rep and the construction manager went unanswered, we reached out to the Chicago market VP to find out what was going on. We then found out that our sales rep had left the company and our construction manager was changed but no one informed us. We completed our pre drywall inspection in early September and were told that our house would be completed before the end of October. Our final walkthrough and closing were actually scheduled for the end of October (Khov's fiscal year end is 10/31). However, two weeks before the inspection, we were notified that the dates would have to be moved to mid-November, Cabinetry was damaged, and they would not be able to complete until then. We had to reschedule all of our utilities and post-closing contractors (i.e painters, window treatment installers, etc.) for a second time. So, after 4.5 months of delays and lack of communication about when we would be able to move in, we finally had our new home and were no longer commuting from our temporary housing at a vacation home 4 hours away. Great experience and Very clear Every step until the end of the house built., thanks to. All, for hard work

The construction rep, and sales agents were great. The construction rep in particular was excellent. He maintained communication and was trustworthy and friendly in addressing the few minor issues I had. I appreciate that this builder keeps the area clean during on-going construction and is considerate of those who are actively living in the community while it is being built.
