We were told by another builder who examined the house thoroughly before we bought it and told us that it was extremely well built. We have found that to be true. Anything we found after we moved in that wasn’t perfect we reported. Each thing was taken care of very promptly by professionals. We couldn’t be happier with the house, all the employees, and our new neighborhood.

Nothing I haven’t shared in my first review. However, if I could redo the review I would give a lower score. My experience has not been good to say the least!

Great experience and truly appreciate help & support

I had a great experience throughout the entire home buying process. The whole team I worked with was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. They made everything feel smooth and stress-free from start to finish. I truly appreciated their support and guidance and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a home from K. Hovnanian. From the very beginning of the sales process, there were promises made that were never honored. I was told that certain appliances—including a refrigerator, washer, and dryer—would be included with the home. This was not a verbal misunderstanding; Tyler L. explicitly confirmed this in writing via email. Despite this, neither Tyler nor K. Hovnanian followed through on the commitment. When I raised the issue with management, I spoke with Shelby, who offered only an apology. While I appreciate acknowledgment, there was no effort to resolve the situation or provide any form of compensation or incentive to make up for the broken promise. The lack of accountability and customer-focused resolution was very disappointing. The issues did not end there. After the walkthrough, I noticed multiple cosmetic and workmanship concerns, including poor paint work, loose screws, and generally sloppy finishing. The patchwork appeared rushed and unprofessional. When these concerns were brought up, the response was dismissive, essentially stating that “this is just how it is,” with no attempt to correct or improve the quality. For such a significant investment, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, craftsmanship, and customer care. Quality not up to par and customer service after sale is 2 out of 5.

The lawn was poorly laid, leaving uneven, unleveled areas. Some areas has holes covered by sod, creating a potential fall and injury hazard. There are several areas of the tiled floor that are uneven, indicating poor leveling prior to installation. Several areas along the base boards and tile has paint spotting that was not cleaned up prior to the completion of sale. It does not appear that there was any attempt to make-ready the house. In other words, the windows are all smeared, some door don't latch when pulled to, mulching of the gardens was half done. One garage door was without an opener. I've purchased other properties and have not seen this before. My move-in has only been about 4 months, and with work and limited time I've not been able to cover all aspects of the house. We absolutely love the home, the build quality in the floor plan

I love my new home, it's beautifully done and well made. Steve, who oversaw the construction, is fabulous. He's helped me with so many things since I've moved in.

Love our new home! The floor plan fit our retirement home, love the color palette too. Construction was done before we were ready.

The overall house is nice. I feel like k hov should put poles lights so that it’s not pitch dark at night and maybe a playground for the kids. Everything about this place is dark and old school except the new houses. Not sure of how long I will stay. Not to mention very few places to eat out and the Walmart is like going to petco too many dogs. I feel like I’ve left civilization and it’s hard adjusting. I wish that I would have chosen Ryan homes in Culpeper and that’s only because of the location. Also why is it that none of the bathroom showers have a place for soap or towels.

I've purchased a couple of new construction homes in the past. The KHov experience from Jonathan in the Sales office through the construction process with the CM, Rich, was flawless and stress-free. The quality of construction is second to none. Delivered on time and at a fantastic price. We were absentee buyers. Thank you for making our relocation so easy.

It was a great experience buying my new home. I followed KHOVANIAN homes for over a year and watched as they broke ground in Bloomingdale Ga right until my house was built. Amazing experience for sure. The only disappointment I had was when they started to leave out the tubs in bathrooms. It was their signature and something I raved about. Well here I am. I love it.

I love my new home and the community is great

The sales person and building manager were fantastic through our purchase process. We were so excited to purchase our home. Once we got into our new home it has been total chaos . We saw things we didn't see during the walk through, however the building manager has been understanding and trying to take care of some of the things we found. However there are some major issues which are costing us money. The esthetics of the house is catching. I kinda wish we didn't buy this house. Check out your cabinets, look behind your stove. I always clean behind my stove and refrigerator. I pulled my stove out and found they put a damaged cabinet in and my bathroom cabinet had a large screw in it and when you open the cabinet door it looked like it was going to fall off. When you're looking to purchase a new home look in places they wouldn't expect you to look to make sure there isn't any shady work. We've been in our home 3 months now and we're not satisfied. ... Overall, our experience with this builder was mixed. The construction quality is generally solid, and the home looks great aesthetically. Communication during most stages of the build was reasonable, and the team was responsive when questions were raised. However, there were some frustrating issues, particularly around attention to detail. One notable problem was a missing electrical outlet near the countertop, which is something that should have been caught during planning. Issues like this create inconvenience. My wife and I have bought and sold 5 06 houses the past 30+ years. This is by far our favorite. No new build house is perfect, but this is the closest to perfection we have ever seen.

Warranty leader (Gary) is very responsive and flexible. We have just one outstanding request that I’m confident will be addressed quickly.

We purchased our home in September and the overall Purchase experience (sales & financing)was great. Unfortunately, we have had issues that we weren't expecting from a new build. The company itself and the people we have worked with have been good, but the workmanship and materials leaves a lot to be desired.

We had the best experience overall when we were buying our house this was our first time. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.

Khov will do their best to build to your needs.

Workmanship is below average on some areas. Flooring has no padding and lowest grade LVP. Paint was rushed and has many issues Overall very happy with home but KHOV should think about not cutting corners.

Overall a pleasant experience and great options. Scope for improvement in flexibility of timelines and craftsmanship
