We love our new home. Working with Adam Murawski made this process a breeze. Quick responses to my questions and constant updates were extremely helpful. Couldn’t be happier.

Building shortages caused us to change a few things but overall the house was completed and we love it! Few thing here and there but the warranty department has been on top of it.

Starting from sales to closing, I had every very bad experience and quality is very bad.. I might choose wrong option and i don't recommend for any one.. I see very poor architecture, workmanship, quality.. There were many damages and feel very poor quality materials and clearly reflect negligence of the builder. Dish washer is not event connected with power cable and with in two weeks in two baths we are using,, three lights are not working..

The house looks good at first glance but the construction and finished details are just shy of being good. I feel like the construction company was try to save money and cut corners and the house shows it. I know the construction managers had a lot to deal with, with supply chain and labor issues, and they said they were trying to close on too many (18) houses in one month. Perhaps they should build fewer at a time and build them better. I think it would be more cost effective to do it right the first time rather than to have to come back to fix haphazard work. I think this is generally the fault of the company’s higher management because the local people I dealt with both on my sale and the construction managers were wonderful and were obviously trying their best in a difficult situation. ... Meeting Ms. Dodie was a pleasure. She is very pleasant and welcoming. Meeting Mr. Robert, was also pleasant. Robert is a good listener. And he answered the questions I had regarding the Construction. Mr. Chris explained the warranty throughout the walkthrough. He also let me know, to contact him if I had more questions, in the future. Overall my experience in purchasing my home has been a great delight.

I contacted the warranty team and was told I would receive a follow up call to coordinate a claim repair and here we are two weeks later and......nothing

The builder was untimely in delivering the home however it is unclear as to the impact of Covid and workers.

The sales rep Nick and the construction manager Tom have been phenomenal to work with throughout. We did encounter a few issues and questions along the way and both always remained very professional and helpful and prompt in addressing our concerns.

Home was poorly finished. Broken and missing items incorrect tile installed. Very disappointed

We’ve had quite a few issues to resolve with the warranty coverage and it’s been a little difficult to get someone out at a reasonable time of the day. There’s been numerous occasions that my wife or I take off work and the individual has not arrived in the scheduled window time frame.

My experience with K Hovnanian was amazing. This was my first home purchase and the entire team was attentive and supportive through the whole process.

Most of the work in the house seems like they hired anyone off the street to do it. Crooked walls, paint splattered all over floors and stairs. Gaps in baseboard. Gaps in flooring. Wrong flooring added in a closet so they could “be finished to closed.” Dishwasher not properly installed so it rocks. House wasn’t power washed before closing so all the siding is covered in dirt. For buying our first home and being excited it was a poor experience. 30 days in and all they have fixed was a crack in one of the tubs. Wouldn’t buy a house from Khov again.

Overall disappointed in the workmanship for the price that we paid.

The house was NOT ready to be handed over to me and I have a list of over 15 items that need to be repaired with contractors in my house almost daily! The construction team totally dropped the ball and the quality of the workmanship of the house is terrible! I can't believe the amount of defects and things that need to be fixed!! It is unacceptable for the amount of money I paid for this house.

After my experience I would not recommend this builder. My home was rushed in the end, the process was inflexible, associates were learning at my expense. If I could do it again I would not have made the purchase with this builder.

Get punch list completed before closing. I'm waiting 5 months.

The sales person was good, she was very responsive throughout the entire process. The most disappointing part is the quality of workmanship and materials. The cabinets are VERY low quality and workmanship of installation is VERY poor. Cabinet doors are not lining up, trim pieces are falling off from, sharp nails/staples are exposed etc. Both interior and exterior paint jobs are very messy and workmanship is VERY poor as well. There are many paint drips, splashes, missing spots, and even wrong colors on exterior trims. In addition to the poor workmanship there are many signs of carelessness shown throughout the house on many items and that is very disappointing. The house was NOT clean when I moved in. Our experience had a lot of issues. We had four different builders during the build process. This was confusing and created issues with the quality of the home and communication. During the building process we sent in emails about issues we saw. Many were never answered. The "original" builder told us in the beginning that our gas meter would be next to all the other meters on the garage side. When we asked the third builder, why this wasn't the case he said "We never know which side of the house the gas meter will be placed." Now we cannot add a whole home natural gas generator. We understood some issue because it was 2021, i.e. weather ,product delays, and contractor shortages. The real problem was communication and clarity. This was hard with the turnover of builders. We understand that the completion date was delayed three separate times. Now, in the home for a month, an issue we sent in pictures of in August was not taken care of creating a major water leak issue. We still do not have complete use of our owner suite bathroom and our owner suite bedroom because it is housing fixtures for the bathroom. Our new microwave broke before Thanksgiving or under 2 weeks living in the home. We still don't have that repaired. We are waiting on parts since the technicians don't have anything on hand to repair the unit. Our sales person was top notch and kept us as up to date as she could. She always responded when called or messaged. Unfortunately, she couldn't share information she didn't know about timing and delays during the build process. ... More

Overall I understand that this was an abnormal situation when you build a home during a pandemic- I get it. However, the follow up of our questions was poor throughout the process from our project manager. Even after closing, we rarely get a response when we reach out to anyone from the construction team regarding outstanding issues. Happy with the home so far, but the process could have been better.

Very pleased with the sales representative, so professional, kind and friendly, we loved the way they treated us, and helped us.

Overall Good experience with the Rep Ashley when looking at homes, answered questions truthfully, did not treat anything different about our visits. Always willing to go beyond her duty. The construction Rep Jesse has been great very responsive to any issues that occurred after purchasing the home. Great communication overall.

Lacey was absolutely awesome. She made my home purchasing experience very easy. Especially, since I was moving from another city and things were sight unseen. I had to rely on her for everything. I love my new home and couldn't be happier. I would definitely purchase another K. Hovnanian home.
