The experience overall was good. However we did run into several delays, and communication could’ve been a little better.

My new home has been quite the process and has left me with many things to reflect on. Just like any process set-backs will occur especially during a pandemic but I’m pleased with the results. I must say that any issue that arose, KHOV resolved it in a timely fashion. If your looking for accountability and customer service, look no further.

I felt like I was strongarmed into using their mortgage company. Beware. I was expecting more attention to the details of this home based on the price I paid for it. More eyes need to be on the details of these homes. Seems like they are throwing them up and no one is really paying attention to all the details.

WORK ETHIC. RESPONSIVE. ATTENTION TO DETAIL. GENUINELY FRIENDLY. QUALITY. VALUE. Everything was and continues to be above my expectations. My house was completed - from dirt to move in - during a building material shortage - in 20 weeks! The entire K.Hov team pays attention to every detail. During the building process, the agents were always available and at the ready to answer any question; nothing was ever too much trouble. I was moving to Bakersfield from the Bay Area and they were very accommodating in allowing me to do things along the way on the phone, by doc u sign, text and email. When I had my walk through, I learned about amazing features of this home that I wasn’t aware of and it was a pleasant surprise. In addition to all the warranties, K.Hov also has a portal for residents where you can find out every single detail of your home; colors, manufacturer, etc, numbers for all utilities and local information; documents; and allows you to submit service requests. This same portal sends you monthly maintenance reminders too! This builder goes above and beyond long after you receive your keys! I have submitted service requests and the issue was resolved within 2 days, and most of the time, the same day. The entire K.Hovnanian team makes you feel like family. They know you by name and even know your dog’s name:) Many stars had to align for this move to be possible for me. I am so thankful that K. Hovnanian was the brightest star! ... More

Very bad experience found lots of problems after closing, everything was rushed and poorly put together. The front elevation was wrong found several uncaulk areas nails sticking out, found muddy puddle under carpet, cracks in several areas too many problems to mention looks like the house was just thrown together without any consideration

The initial home buying experience was good. Our salesperson (Lisa) was great. She sent us updates constantly, answered questions (many times on her days off). The financing phase was great too. Jodi was a pleasure to work with and made the process easy. Our issue was the building, multiple issues needing attention and the difficulty in getting them taken care of. We closed on the home (although we should have told them we weren't closing until all issues were resolved) and it took over a month to finally get everything done we were told would be addressed before we closed or (worst case) on the day we closed. It took MANY texts, phone calls and photos of problems to get everything FINALLY taken care of. Lesson learned: If you buy a KHOV home (or any home for that matter) don't close until ALL issues have been resolved. They will definitely be more motivated to take care of you if you are holding up the closing. ... More

Our builder Erick really made this a great experience. We had some delays due to supply issues but he kept us informed and kept things rolling best of his ability. Would build again if I could have Erick or Matt over our house

We worked with Dwight the community Manger and also with Scott. Both of these guys were extremely professional and very good at their jobs. We would highly recommend KHOV to build your home. They truly care about the homeowners and will gonthebextra mile to deliver a satisfied customer.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. As a homeowner and purchase five homes in the past I have need witnessed such unprecedented behavior from an organization. The communication between the sales person to the financial and builder management. This was a cash purchase and it was if I was being penalize for a cash purchase. For additional information I would love to share just how unprofessional this whole ordeal was.

K Hov from the beginning has been such a joy to work with. They made the process for me as a first time home buyer easy and straightforward

I should never close on my house before they fixed all the problems that we had with the house. My house looks like s. They put dry grass on it and promised me they’ll replaced. I’d closed on my house and more than 30 days ago and I haven’t moved in they just fixed half way. I’ll get a painter my self to fixed probably. Disappointed is my status

I was treated like I was intruder when my house was getting built I was told to leave or he will call the police on me and my wife poor way to treat people and with my repairs not getting done because they saying there is nothing wrong .crack concrete stain and poor repairs on a back patio I pay 14000 dollars to have poor cuality not very happy I will let you know is a good house but the people working on a construction at garden glen are poor mind people that they only looking at production and not quality and customer service to satisfy your buyers or home owners. Hope some one can contact me to show proof of the workmanship because I have proof and the people at the job side not doing nothing about it. ... More

This was our first time as homeowners and maybe we just got really lucky, but the process was smooth and communication from both builder, lender and our sales consultant was great. The Khov staff really made the biggest difference for us in being able to help us feel confident in the process and being able to set expectations and walk us through what to expect and understand. Only areas of feedback is that even though we did our walk through, we identified minor areas where we missed paint touch up or small holes showing by the doors, but luckily, they’re all in areas you won’t notice as much. But at least everything we covered during orientation was addressed and taken care of. We love our home and we’re proud to share that we have a Khov home to create memories in! ... More

I love my new home… the quality is remarkable. My experience was great. I had a great experience with my salesperson (Darren S). He kept me updated on the home because I actually lived out of state during the home building.

It was great working with Jesse, Ashley, and Christi. They communicated with me proactively, answered my questions, resolved issues quickly, and just made the total home buying and move-in process easy. I would definitely recommend K. Hovnanian Homes.

Overall terrible experience with the builder from start till the end. Poor quality, not worth at all the price of the house. Terrible quality of workmanship. K Hovnanian should be ashamed of their team and the way they deliver the house. We were missing, mirrors, vanities, wrong island color, cracks in the wall, missing bulbs, leak in the garage, 2 different color banisters, dents and chips of paint everywhere on our SETTLEMENT DAY. Absolutely, not acceptable from any builder!!! And the list goes on and on…
