The buying experience was not too difficult. The end product is not up to the standards we expected. The paint is not the best and cannot be wiped clean. The flooring is nothing like what seems to have been promised or maybe all buyers were misled. The flooring is totally substandard. Throughout the living room and kitchen is inferior vinyl flooring that shows every nick and indentation once furniture is placed upon it. I believe we were all led (or misled) to believe that for the price Khov was charging, the flooring would be of a harder, more durable laminate plank flooring. That’s what should have been installed! The carpets are acceptable for the moment but not best quality. The sod sheets used for the lawn look terrible. I could go on but I think you get the drift. ... More

Such potential for a beautiful neighborhood. Total lack of oversight and management shows. Each khov person does what they want, says what they want. There is no cohesion to this process. We quickly learned the salesperson wasn't invested in the process once the purchase agreement was done so the buyer has no advocate. Quality of workmanship depends on who your construction manager is and if there is a change during the build. Love the location and we love our home, just have to know once you accept it, there's no QC, no warranty team, no HOA involved. They are ghosts. Paint workmanship is just awful, unacceptable. ... We closed on our 'dream home' with Khov in May of 2022. We waited over a year and a half for the home to be completed. We were sold on the idea of a custom home delivery, with craftsman who take pride in their work and deliver a top notch product. What we received was a nightmare. I've now converted into what feels like a full time construction project manager. The VP of operations for Khov got involved months ago and assured me he would personally make things right. Unfortunately, no progress has been made. We have serious safety concerns yet to be addressed that include electrical issues, exterior doors that do not function properly and a broken truss in our attic that was knowingly installed without appropriate guidance and sign-off of a structural engineer. We're now nearly 4 months in to what is a 12 month warranty period with no real progress. I've scheduled time away from work to accommodate repairs only to have the the people who are scheduled to do the work not show up. This process has been immensely stressful on my family and we could not be more disappointed in the experience we've had with Khov thus far. The only positive experience was with our sales person and construction manager throughout the build process. The building process took 16 months . The paint on the inside is a joke . The riser on the inside steps are buckling and the paint is pealling off .

Overall, I am neutral on my purchase. I was happy with my sales person, and my last construction manager. But I am very disappointed in the Khov corporate and the actual craftsmanship.

Quality of the finish work was not up to par for what I paid for the property. Very poor and sloppy I had a list of 38 items that needed to be fixed the day after I closed on my brand new home. I'm very thankful for my for my construction supervisor Gennaro who has continued to help resolve some of the issues. My sales representative Jackie was great as well

Our home closed on 4/29/2022. However, there are a lot of things haven’t completed. Your site manager pushed us to close the house and promised to fix all of them in couple of days. Unfortunately, there is not too much has done in the month.

Poor. Mismanagement poor quality of work!

We have had a disappointing experience from start until finish with LFH. During our initial contract signing we weren’t offered some upgrades that we later found out were offered. During the build, we worked with a builder who is thankfully no longer there but never communicated as promised, never caught any shotty work (which we personally did during the build and had them redo). We missed our close date by 3 weeks but only told days before we wouldn’t close on time. Two weeks into moving in, our dishwasher leaked which has resulted in needing new cabinets and flooring. We have been living with open subflooring (think splinters and stubbed toes) for weeks. Cabinets aren’t set to be replaced for another month. Throughout all of this, we have never once heard from a VP / higher up at the company even though we requested to speak with them several times. I found we were oversold the home, were made promises that were not kept, and had to continually watch every development in the home as builders cut corners, didn’t finish elements, etc. there was next to zero project management, incredibly poor communication and poor workmanship. One of the worst experiences I have had in my adult life.

I would never recommend this firm to anyone as they are the worst builder I have ever worked with.

This was honestly the worst homebuying experience that I could have ever imagined. Extremely poor quality, workmanship, construction managers, that had absolutely no idea what they were doing, timelines, consistently, not mad, mixed messaging, and extremely poor communication, highly unreliable subcontractors, unhelpful sales people.
