We looked for months for a new build home and choose K HOV in Justin, Tx. Its been the best experience and they have exceeded all expections. If oyu are looking for a new home, anywhere, seach out K Hov. They are amazing, before, during and AFter the sale.

The buying process was not smooth, and the sales rep had a bad attitude, aggressive and not helpful really at all. I was lied to about a couple of different things during the closing process by the sales rep, and came to find out my neighbor had the same experience. The home has a lot of cosmetic flaws, with poor paint jobs, drywall, roof, concrete, and trim being damaged. Since I've moved in, I've had to put in at least 10 warranty claims, and it has only been a couple of months. It sucks because I really like my house, but wish it were of better quality or craftsmanship.

Our experience working with Chad and the sales and mortgage teams was excellent. I would recommend K. Hovnanian Homes to any interested buyer.

From the start Patrick was amazing. He was patient and professional. Always willing to help, and went above and beyond. Then we purchased and Keith has been nothing short of fantastic!

All went as planned. Everyone from the Sales Rep to theBuilders Rep who explained the details regarding the Home Warranty were professional knowledgeable and patient. A great Home builder to work with!

Our home buying experience was smooth. Each member of the team was prompt in addressing our questions and concerns throughout the home buying process. We have been in our home for several months. As with any new home, there will be things that need to be fixed as the house settles. Any issue we have had has been addressed promptly.

KHov home seems to be made of good quality, high end appliances and great staff to work with.

We absolutely love our home, we purchased one already built, however there were some details that were overlooked by KHov. There are things that cannot be corrected according to the builder such as crooked walls, flooring not lined up straight. Island in kitchen not straight. Since these are already in place, we are stuck with it. Please inspect everything before committing.

The KHOV Elevon salesperson was very misleading, played shady games over crediting back $1,500, I would not trust her and certainly would not refer anyone to her. The home is lovely for the most part. I was told the home was "close to being ready", knowing I was on a tight timeframe to move, they sat on the house with not a single nail for almost a month, I lost money on the house I was selling due to not one but 3 closing delays and then they did not even live up to the $1,500 credit back they offered (found that out too late). The interior is lovely (we bought the farmhouse style) but the front landscaping was sloppy, I wish that they would have actually completed the punch list before I moved in and they absolutely did not clean the lot, we have had the worst ant problems, coming in through our sockets, trim, etc. READ EVERYTHING. They do provide many beautiful upgrades like a free-standing tub, barn doors and little details that make the home just a little elevated. Some of the systems DO NOT work as described (i.e. "Fresh Air Intake"); the fence is sub-par, and I think they tried to squeeze one too many houses on each street as the houses are so close that many side yards never dry due to lack of sun. Unfortunately, you don't get the HOA rules until after you have provided earnest monies and then, the HOA rules not working for you is NOT a reason to break the contract. I did not like the Elevon Sales Team, I'm planning to sell in another year and move. I have to take ownership that I should have demanded certain information before giving them any monies. The Project Manager was great, but did I mention the Sales Team either withholds, misleads or just lies; sometimes over stupid things but they really lied about the plans for the development. That was not KHOV as a company, but the sales teams represent the company. I might have rated a little higher overall except for the fact that Heather the Salesperson really tainted the experience, and you just can't change that so every time I pulled into my garage, it just took from the joy of buying what was supposed to be my "dream home" (within an affordable price point) and the HOA management company.... just ridiculous nonsense. ... My experience with Khov has been Amazing. Danielle was great. She helped us find our dream home and feel confident in our purchase. Josh and Jason have further been a source of confidence for anything I needed at or after closing as well.

Run away as far as you can from any KHov built home. They rush to build their homes and when you call them on the short cuts, they gaslight you until you've signed on the dotted line.

Builder should include window sills as part of the build. Unreasonable to have no sills and flat painted surfaces. How would you clean? What if water got on it? Houses are built too close together. Barely enough room to get a lawnmower between the house and the rock wall separating the property line.

Be warned: While the purchasing and financing experience was excellent and we are thankful to our sales representative heather, the build process and the final product have been disappointing. Our new home construction was completed in June, and it is now October, yet there are ongoing issues that remain unresolved. Don’t get me wrong—overall, this is a beautiful home. However, given the reputation of the builder and the expectation of higher quality, this just doesn’t meet the mark. Since we’ve moved in, we have been dealing with an ongoing electrical issue that has not been addressed, and our concerns about the quality of the home’s finish have not been heard. There were numerous paint deficiencies and other problems that should have been caught during Quality Control before the home was ever released for sale. My advice to anyone considering a home from this builder is to ensure that you have several third-party inspectors thoroughly check the home and verify that everything is up to standard before you purchase. This builder has not lived up to the expectations set by their name or their guarantee of producing 100% customer satisfaction and the highest-quality product, as stated on their website. Our warranty specialist has addressed most concerns, which has been helpful, but not all issues have been resolved. Living in a home with problems affecting one of its major systems is unacceptable, especially given the price point of over half a million dollars. We made the mistake of not being thorough enough when checking the home prior to closing, even with issues that were identified during our third-party inspection. We are now finding out that despite being assured these issues would be resolved, they were not. This undermines the credibility and trust we had in this process and this company. I would advise always doing your own checks, no matter how professional or friendly the staff may seem. Their primary interest is in selling the home and absolving themselves of responsibility. The fact that so many details were overlooked is concerning and makes me wonder what issues we might face in the future when the home is no longer under warranty. ... More

K. Hovnanian made the home buying process easy for us. As with any large project, nothing ever goes perfectly but thankfully all issues pointed out during the walk throughs were relatively minor and they were quickly addressed and/or corrected by the time we moved in. Since we've moved in we've encountered a few other issues which we've communicated to our service manager and he's been very responsive to our concerns. As for the 4 star rating on the quality of workmanship and materials, I'd say 90% of the work done was great, but there were a few instances of finishing touches which could have been better such as the painting detail around the stair railings. Again, mostly minor things, but still somewhat important for a home at this price point. As for the 4 star rating for the value for the price paid, it's mainly an opinion on my part for what I believe to be inflated home prices due to the economy/market, but it is very much in line with current prices for similar homes in this particular area. All that being said, we love our home and our neighborhood. If we ever move again, we will definitely be looking to build with K. Hovnanian again. ... More
