We had really good homebuying experience overall. Eric and Heather helped us through buying and building processes. Eric is very active and involved builder. Really appreciate his hard work. Julie is now supporting us really well to resolve if any issues.

The process was so smooth. There were delays in the construction but the communication was always present.

I hear so many problems with new builds: shoddy construction, cheap materials, poor customer service, and awful service after you close. I experienced ZERO of these issues with KHovnanian. The company’s sales agent was wonderful. The on-site project manager was thorough and patiently answered ALL of my questions, which were many! I received a great interest rate through the builder’s mortgage company and closing took less than 20 minutes, because documents were shared in advance. The only challenge I experienced had nothing to do with KHov. The Dallas area (actually Texas) experienced a 100 freeze in February 2021 that delayed closing by 1 month. Otherwise, smooth process. The home is lovely but there are several workmanship issues we weren’t expecting (Windows are not the same size on the top versus the bottom for example).

Khov is professionally managed company and I feel lot safer to buy home with khov than many others. It feels sad to see how builders delay construction for ever. Current home was a remote purchase and visited only for final walk and closing and they took care of everything very well and I am happy to be khov family.

Super nice upon first meeting. Was told we had 24 hours to decide on lot w/o a deposit. Called 20 mins after visit to set up earnest and was told the lot we chose was “sold”. Sales person Heather G was always “out”, stopped doing the weekly follow up calls as promised, hardly responded to texts. Lied about various parts of building process instead of just saying she didn’t know the answer. We had 4 general contractors during the entire process. Eric T was amazing!. Did all he said he would do and then some. He was responsive and caring! If it weren’t for him we would have walked away from the house completely! The quality of the home for the money paid is crap! The trades don’t pay attention to detail. The “upgrades” aren’t really upgrades and I’m constantly filing warranty claims, been in the house for a month. I will never buy a K Hovanian home again! ... When I started my home search I was sold on the brand, quality, and reputation I gathered from conducting some extensive research. As I discovered after going under contract with K Hovnanian Homes this was not the home buying experience I would have expected from such a reputable builder. Starting from the Area Sales Manager (Invisible) to the VP of Sales. When I had concerns about the construction start of my home the VP of Sales was very defensive /argumentative trying to force me to cancel my contract demonstrating poor craftsmanship after closing on my home. Shouldn’t have bought a home during Covid. Structurally the house is great. The fit and finish is the worst I have ever seen for $400,000 house

we have received good support and guidance from the sales manager. They provided weekly updates on the construction status. wherever any delay happened due to delay with construction materials, this was clearly communicated to us. Even in this challenging time with shortage of construction material, the house was completed on time without much delay or any cost increase to customer. Quality product delivered on time! As a new home buyer we had lot of questions and which were all clarified patiently by the sales manager. Kudos! we expect to get same level of support from the warranty support team as well. ... The sales consultant was amazing . A far as the it took longer to close and it really created issues.

Overall it is a satisfying journey with kHOV.

This team wants to provide quality product and maintain satisfied consumers with their exceptional customer service during and after the building/closing process.

My interaction with the sales consultant, builder, designer, associated KHov partnerships were all pleasant as everyone was nice and responsive. My only concern and reason for a 4 star is the material/craftsmanship of the home as I’m starting to notice more flaws, not great materials and bad craftsmanship.

The home buying experience with Khovnanian was very easy, as a first time home buyer I thought it would be a stressful process but it was the complete opposite. I would do it all over again.

It was good though it was first home for us, lot to learn on a house and construction process. Only drawback was the sales agents were not flexible to modify or add some upgrades a week later of purchase.

Builder was helpful and helped me alot with timelines and quality.

H. Hov builder is trustworthy

I see so many things are ignored during the build process. It means there was not attention during construction process.

After being told the home would be completed by March 2nd, we shortened our lease to end by May correspond. We received numerous delays, some at the last minute and then had to request various extensions from our landlord. After being assigned 3 different construction managers, we finally received a closing date of June 29th, thankfully as our landlord advised we could not have any additional extensions. There were a few items not completed, the main item being the specialty from door we selected and paid for. It was to be installed the day after closing and stained the day after that. We had not time to allow for the items to be completed prior to moving in because we had to be out of our rental. The door was installed on July 1st and the construction manager advised it was to be stained a few days later and the proper hardware installed. After unanswered emails, and only after the amazing sales person April stepped in to assist us, did we receive a response from the construction manager, Chris (a month later). He’s now advised someone will be out to stain the door tomorrow August 4th. I won’t hold my breath. Also, there is a section of one of our walls which they completely missed applying texture to. This was also noted prior to closing and never fixed. The constant delays and lack of responses from every construction manager we have been assigned has ensured I would never recommend this builder to any family or friends. Your company really needs to get construction managers who are responsive and sub contractors who pay more attention to the details of the build. The whole process from Sales to Construction to turnover was smooth and was just as promised. Despite the winter storm and a minor delay, things were as promised. There were few changes, but everything was communicated ahead of time and we were onboarded

Overall good experience with the home purchase. I'd like to highlight that TJ goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. He's extremely responsive, hard working, and I especially appreciate how considerate he is every time he takes his shoes off to enter the house.

Overall it was a great experience purchasing home from KHOV. Starting from the day one till I close my home, KHOV guided me in each and every step of it.
