Happy with my purchase, its way better than living in an apartment. My cats and I love the new home and all the space we have to roam around. I get compliments on the flower bed outside often and the location. I like being close to work as well as the airport. The KHOV family is always available to answer any questions I may have and has kept in touch with me to make sure things are going smooth and I am enjoying my new home. The process was pretty easy and still worth it despite current worldwide pandemic and issues. I am used to traveling and deploying so whether this is my forever home or not it is my permanent home as of right now. We identified several issues to the builder, they worked on it but it did not present the quality of work we expected, so we had to keep calling the builder to keep re-fixing again and again. We still have several open tickets, things are getting fixed slowly, but what a hassle. In general this is a good builder and they use quality materials (not the best, but still good). I you are paying top dollar for a house and expect detail oriented quality, find another builder.

We moved to a new state and pretty quickly fell in love with the area and more specifically the options and straightforwardness of the KHov home building process. The cherry on top was the staff, they were there for every crazy question we had. We are so happy with our decision to go with Khov and would do it all over again!

Excellent overall

Salesperson was informative and the construction manager was knowledgeable. We're very happy with the end result.

We moved in a month ago and have had numerous issues. Two electrical problems, one where the fire alarms weren't wired. Our AC has been out twice and then was also not wrapped so blowing into the attic. Our backyard doesn't drain properly. One of the drains on our sinks had been kicked and knocked off so water was draining onto the floor. Cabinets missing chunks, fence falling off, back door not catching. All was fixed but response times were terrible especially for AC and most of the companies that came out to fix things left a mess and/or showed up way outside of the scheduled time window causing me to miss work. Everyone we have worked with at K. Hovnanian Homes has been fabulous! They are responsive and truly want to make the home-owning experience the best for you. There were minor quality issues during our walkthrough, but they were happy to get those things fixed for us before we moved in. As first time home-buyers, we are so glad we chose K. Hovnanian!

Elegant beautiful build but would have been rated higher if something could have been done with the sound coming inside especially with the master bedroom location and the trains that go honking all night

Expectations met and exceeded at all interactions with k hovanian staff and partners. Really good job.

Build and punch-list were not without issues, but the builder was very responsive. Overall I feel like we had far fewer issues than friends and relatives have had with other builders. Overall we are a satisfied customer, and have no regrets.

K Hovnanian was by far the most helpful of the builders in the area and not pushy or aggressive whatsover. The salesmanship was top notch. They went at our pace, never overreached and was always available to take the time and answer any questions during the decision to build a home. Once we decided to go with K Hovnanian, they kept us updated weekly as far as the building process/status went. We closed right around when they had estimated we would close and the closing process was a breeze with K Hovnanian.

Sales and construction manager were excellent

We love our house, but we are noticing a lot of little things, now that we are living here, that we missed on our walkthroughs. It seems to me a stricter check or verification of work after the house is finished should be in order. Nothing major, just little things you wouldn’t expect to find. Paint thinly applied on walls and cabinets, master bathroom toilet seat was up on both our walkthroughs, but when down reveals chips on the top of the lid, loose screws on kitchen cabinets, guest toilet running constantly, etc. etc. Overall, we are happy. Love the floor plan, and the house.

So far, I've had no issues with the process of buying my K.Hov home. The builder and sales staff have been resourceful and prompt to any questions I might have. I don't have any issues thus far with craftsmanship and materials, but it's too early to tell. That said, I truly feel like I'm in a well-built house that will be everything I was looking for in the many years to come.

It has been a good experience from start to finish. Helen and team did a great job and I really appreciate the support I have received throughout the entire home buying experience.

Nice location

The sales process was strong however the overall craftsmanship is below average especially when paying premium amounts for upgrades and features. Attention to detail was below average as well. The completion was nearly one month behind schedule. The construction communication and past follow-up responsiveness to issues has been strong.

Great customer service

K Hovnanian Homes has excellent processes in place that are managed by true professionals. Every step of the way we had a great experience. I will highly recommend K Hovnanian for years to come.
