We have had a great experience buying our new home. Everyone we worked with has handled themselves in a very professional and courteous manner. Any issues have been handled quickly and thoroughly.

I'm honestly not happy at all with my brand new home purchase. 3 months into the home having major electricity issues. Major leak from my kitchen and master bathroom. Have had issues from day one. And poor workmanship. Interior doors in the home are paper thin. Paying a premium price for the home and to get cheap materials is nor a good feeling to have.

Buying experience was pleasant enough, but it's the quality of the materials and the workmanship that was a disappointment. It almost feels like the company purchased the lowest quality materials they could get in hopes that the buyer won't notice. From swapping out non Moen branded parts to appliances with small defects like scratches here and there to bathroom tiles scratches. So that brings you to wonder if it was the contractors installing that were not careful or did the products come already with defects? Buyers take your time when you do ALL YOUR WALKTHROUGHS.

We recently purchased a Khov home and the entire experience has been so great! The customer service is superior and our home is unique and beautiful! We were so impressed by the entire home buying process and are so glad we went with Khov!

Majority of the materials used interior (wood) is of not good quality. Few items were installed in a way that could cause danger to kids. Not at all happy with warranty team. Always give one or other reason for warranty tickets

Home buying experience was good, our sales person explained everything in the details and what to expect during the home build process.

Upon visiting the site, I prepared for the customer service to bad as when I visit others. But to my surprise I was greated with such positive energy from April and her team, they made me feel at home. The process was easy and they worked with till the closing. It went so smooth and fast I am still in shock. Closing was less then 3 weeks. Needless to say, we are glad to be a part of the community.

What a blessing, the whole experience !

Warranty manager is great but the house is way over priced

Heather, Scott and Ayla are awesome. We love our new home. A little disappointed the quality of some of the products used (paint, dry wall, wall texture, cabinets). They look great, but probably won’t last long. Drywall is very bad quality, things we hang on the wall don’t stay because the drywall can’t support a hook.

Overall, prior to purchasing my home - working with the builder was a good experience. However, it wasn't until I moved in that I found miscellaneous items that should have been fixed prior to me seeing the home. For example, I have spots of white paint on my gray walls - in several different places in my home. Because they are small and towards the celing areas, I didnt notice it during my walk through, Once I moved in - I reported it and was told paint is not under warranty. I am asking for mistakes made to be corrected and I was told no. I encourage the buyers to go through the home with a flash light because there was a lot of sloppiness in the work performed. If you dont catch it prior to closing, it will be a challenge to have it corrected. ... More

Don’t trust the builder you have to hire some expert and inspector to check behind him because those people try to get over you in a small thing and the warranty is the worst warranty you could have in your life. People response. Doesn’t do the right job small bathroom take three months to finish it, and all the excuses, please guys hier expert inspector before you deal with this people tried to give you a hard time to give up and don’t ask for any thing more if even include the warranty

I am a first time home buyer and I was extremely excited and nervous to make the first major purchase of my life and to actually be able to do so. I didn’t have the best experience with Darren he is the person that we first encountered when we looked at the model home. He gave us what I thought was thorough information, but there were way to many discrepancies down the line and he didn’t own up to his mistakes which was annoying. The loan officer Burke was extremely rude. He made me feel as though me asking questions and or me clarifying information that he gave was annoying him to the point he was agreeing to things that I repeated back to him to clarify that was incorrect. And when later questioned he claimed I was the one that didn’t hear correctly. He was extremely rude nearly every time I spoke with him to the point I tried to limit it so that I didn’t talk myself out of purchasing my new home. Once in my home I noticed that things were missing screws and already falling off the wall there was no toilet tissue holder in the half bathroom and the kitchen sink has been loose since the day after moving in. The craftsmanship is very subpar at best however its an opportunity for me to put my spin on it but for the price you would think at least there would be a frame around the mirror in the bathroom at the least. While we appreciated our home buying journey, additional guidance tailored for first-time buyers could have enhanced our experience. As newcomers to the process, having more proactive clarifications from the company would be beneficial given the multitude of questions that arise. But we had an overall good experience. The team that was over our walk through were great!!

Sales – Experience had been good, but it could have been better. We requested for few must have items to be included and not to provide everything in white but none of these were considered. Now it has become impossible to keep those white cabinets and countertop clean and white and we are spending almost 2 hours every week. Bathroom fixtures are mismatching with faucet chrome and light black finish. Fans and daylight LED discs were not added so now we’ll have to spend thousands (4 times of original cost) on installing them and existing light fixtures will go in waste. We paid the highest for this model but didn’t get what we were expecting. Selection of bricks, island, countertop, cabinets, bathroom fixtures is poor and didn’t think through while selecting. Construction – Lot of things were done in a rush, paint, doors, floor, kitchen tiles and electrical outlets. Doors are making creaking sound already. Vinyl floor seems uneven and making noises at some places when we walk over. Before GKO we pointed out some issues, but construction didn’t take care of all those items. Doors are very quality and rough edges. Now we are spending several hours every week to call Warranty team and then again spending time to make sure those are fixed properly. There are few items which can’t be fixed now or will take lot of efforts to fix. Mortgage – Experience was frustrating and not transparent. Even with the best credit and excellent history we were imposed the highest possible mortgage rate. Still not sure why there was a charge for rate buy when the rate applied was already way higher than the market rate. Looks like having a good credit became disadvantage for us. ... More

Harold told us that investors were ok with selling homes as investment, helped us secure loan thru Khov but we were surpised that their HOV did not allow renting for 2 years. Very bad experience.

Great knowledge and experience of sales manager Heather helped us a lot

This was our first time home buying experience and right after the earnest deposit, things started going south for us. Sales was never supportive and never informed about updates on time. Post closing, we realised the house is full of substandard material and seems they hired novice workers to build the house. Every time we have an issue with the house and lodge a complain, they send post sales maintenance person whose sole aim is to just close the ticket without working on it. He is the most unfriendly and unprofessional staff you will ever meet with and is a nightmare to deal with.

There was a bump or two in the process but overall my experience was great.

There were multiple open tickets that took months to complete AFTER CLOSING. I think Khov needed to do a better job of quality control before handing the keys to home owners. they are more interested in pumping out homes before the market changes rather than focus on quality homes.
