My overall experience with the buying process was great, everything went very smoothly. I actually purchased a home that was originally built for someone else, so there were things that I would have selected that was very important to me (linen closets) but really no complaints about anything else. Any problems since closing has been addressed promptly.

After nearly 2 years of looking for our first home, K Hovnanian was the blessing for which we were waiting. It started with April, the salesperson, really listening to our situation and helping lead me to see what we really needed and with their mortgage company was able to afford the house we needed. The quality of the home was the best of the hundreds I had looked at over the years. That level of service continued through the lending team, insurance team, and still to this day with the warranty team. Truly has been a great experience buying our first home with KHOV.

Our experience with the KHov sales team was absolutely amazing! Our sales associate Danielle was phenomenal. She was extremely attentive and compassionate through the highs and lows of our build journey. Jake was also really great! He and Danielle went above and beyond to ensure our closing date. All of their efforts made us feel truly valued. 5 star experience!

Overall I am very happy with my home. The construction process was generally smooth, although at times it felt like other homes were moving at a much faster pace. For example, nearly every home on the street had windows but mine sat for about 2 months with no windows. The construction manager of my build changed several times but that didn't seem to really slow things down. My biggest complaint is that I felt very pressured into using the in house lender. I ultimately went with an outside lender but I had to jump through hoops to do it. Not only was the in house lender at a much higher rate, they wouldn't lock without me paying upfront, non refundable fees that didn't get credited at closing. Also, the in house lender almost never reached out to me to discuss options. I constantly had to reach out. It never seemed like she was looking out for me - the borrower - which she should have been. The $7500 credit incentive didn't make up for all those things. ... More

Overall it was fine but closing experience was bad as no one called the day of closing & also the key handover experience was pathetic . The initial sales cycle was great but didn’t feel the same enthusiasm during Golden key handover & felt like we were just ignored after closing.

Our sales rep Danielle was great throughout the entire process she kept us up to date with what was going on every week with videos and pictures. The home is great, there’s a couple little things that we’ll be contacting the warranty department about but they are very minor. Overall we are very happy.

My experience has awesome

K. Hovnanian Homes were great to work with from the start to finish. Just had one issue with not knowing that the elevation I selected didn’t come with stone but was an upgrade. We used them as a lender and that was a smooth and seamless process. Our sales person, April answered all of our questions and within a timely manner. She is great to work with. Our home is beautiful and we are looking to enjoy many years here.

Loved the ability to customize aspects of the home , unlike other builders. They stuck to the timeline for closing. Being a first time home buyer, it was a whole new world but the sales staff helped all the way through keeping us informed and answering our questions. Some work could have been more intentional & cleaner on the house itself but overall the experience was great

We had the best homebuying experience with KHov. They kept their word every step of the way from signing the contract to closing. We have recommended KHov to anybody that will listen! This home is beyond what we could have ever expected.

The sales person Todd Brewer is great and impressed by his professionalism and responsiveness. The construction manager Jeff is also vey easy to deal with. But the person, John, who led us for the Walkthrough was not much of a professional guy. He does not like to give answer to our questions. He behaves as if "I am gonna read these things that I prepared to read, you just shut up, and listen, and get done with it." I do not know how to deal with this person for the entire time of warranty. Unfortunately for me, he is THE contact person if anything happens during the warranty period. Sad!
