To start our salesperson did not promptly return calls about questions we had. She also told us the house came with 2 outside compressors for air conditioning. She was more inclined to give an answer the customer would want to hear than what the truth was. Our project supervisor, Troy came across to me as cocky and lay the blame on somebody else or had an excuse. The last thing that made the whole process terrible was the home builder charged us a large sum of money because the closing date was not communicated properly to anyone especially us. There is a lot more detail that can be shared with whoever cares but our overall experience was a disaster but when the builder holds all the cards at the end you either follow their instructions or forfeit a lot of money. Nick was our sales rep and he was amazing no complaints there very up front, keeps you updated with pictures and txt through the whole building process. However , the real issues are when it’s all done. You are scheduled to do an inspection and get things that need to be fixed addressed before closing and that does not happen at all. Lots of paint issues , had a huge concrete hole in the garage , cabinets have the corned messed up and they don’t know how to lay down caulk correctly what so ever. When the caulking issues was addressed I was told the following “ I need to lower my expectations because these houses are built for the common people that have no idea how construction works and I needed to inspect things from a 6ft distance to which if it looks good then than their is no issue with it”. This was their head builder in charge by the way. Grass was laid like crap, my whole backyard and front yard is not even leveled nicely like the Trophy houses in the community. Paint material used is of very poor quality that just touching it makes it go from white to grey (discoloration). They used a flat tone instead of a gloss paint. The texture in one of my bedroom’s ceiling is awful with poor taping and texture lines visible even at 6ft away! Fence around the property is so uneven and you can see many spots were they Didn’t nail it on to the support because the nails are fully exposed. ... More

Great work overall and decent pricing but some of the work felt rushed.

Both Heather and Gabriel were extremely responsive during the purchase of our home. They delivered a professional demeanor when asked questions on specific items within the home.

My builder was efficient and always prompt with responses. Everything was done in a timely manner.

Communication has been open and professional from the beginning to closing and even after that. Issues come up with new builts and every issue was acknowledged, discussed, and solved. Every email and call were answered in timely manner. Issues need time to get resolved but we got feedback in every detail, with updates and timelines( that changed a lot and we were told about it). Excellent customer service, from sales person to builder and warranty personnell. I would recommend Khov.

K Hovnanian makes the building process seamless from start to finish. Mike my builder kept me informed every step of the way and was there to answer all my questions. I love my home!

Bo was great! Extremely helpful and patient with our many questions. He made a really wonderful experience for us, especially being first time homebuyers. We have also had good service post closing in fixing warranty items.

Lacey S. has been instrumental in helping us in our home buying experience with KHovnanian Homes since Day 1. Argelio M. has diligently updated us on the progress/lack of of progress every week. Both of them is the reason why we stuck it out even though we had major delay on our bricks for 5 months and almost walk away from the contract. Lacey and Argelio are responsive with our questions and we had a lot of them. Even we were upset with the bricks delay, both of them are very thoughtful and super professional in how they could best support us through the delays. They are always very kind and generous with their time to check in even after we closed for follow up items. They really do care! Quality of materials is excellent and so is build quality. I can see that a lot of care was taken in putting everything together. I just had 2 minor items to fix after moving in and that was promptly taken care of by the warranty team. I'm extremely satisfied and definitely recommend K. Hovnanian Homes!

I wanted to thank Lacey the sales consultant in the liberty community has been helpful since beginning from floor plan selection, bricks, upgrades etc. without her it would have been confusing to put everything on table. Secondly, builder were very professional and took care of each request that came post third party inspection, Jeff and Argelio did a great job by updating the status weekly and educate us throughout the whole building process. Mortgage & closing process was smooth. Definitely K. Hovanian is good brand and have a great employees who take care of customer during each step, given a chance I would buy again a home from K.
