Smooth Home Closing and Warranty Issues Being Handled ASAP.

This was our first time as homeowners and maybe we just got really lucky, but the process was smooth and communication from both builder, lender and our sales consultant was great. The Khov staff really made the biggest difference for us in being able to help us feel confident in the process and being able to set expectations and walk us through what to expect and understand. Only areas of feedback is that even though we did our walk through, we identified minor areas where we missed paint touch up or small holes showing by the doors, but luckily, they’re all in areas you won’t notice as much. we have received good support and guidance from the sales manager. They provided weekly updates on the construction status. wherever any delay happened due to delay with construction materials, this was clearly communicated to us. Even in this challenging time with shortage of construction material, the house was completed on time without much delay or any cost increase to customer. Quality product delivered on time! As a new home buyer we had lot of questions and which were all clarified patiently by the sales manager. Kudos! we expect to get same level of support from the warranty support team as well. ... Everyone we have worked with at K. Hovnanian Homes has been fabulous! They are responsive and truly want to make the home-owning experience the best for you. There were minor quality issues during our walkthrough, but they were happy to get those things fixed for us before we moved in. As first time home-buyers, we are so glad we chose K. Hovnanian!

Buying and build was a very easy and pleasant experience. Meredith and Jeremy were awesome. They were always available to answer questions and the response time was A+.

The whole purchasing process is smooth and easy to deal with. They listen to what we need and are able to meet our budget.

K. Hovnanian made the home buying process easy for us. As with any large project, nothing ever goes perfectly but thankfully all issues pointed out during the walk throughs were relatively minor and they were quickly addressed and/or corrected by the time we moved in. Since we've moved in we've encountered a few other issues which we've communicated to our service manager and he's been very responsive to our concerns. As for the 4 star rating on the quality of workmanship and materials, I'd say 90% of the work done was great, but there were a few instances of finishing touches which could have been better such as the painting detail around the stair railings. Again, mostly minor things, but still somewhat important for a home at this price point. As for the 4 star rating for the value for the price paid, it's mainly an opinion on my part for what I believe to be inflated home prices due to the economy/market, but it is very much in line with current prices for similar homes in this particular area. All that being said, we love our home and our neighborhood. If we ever move again, we will definitely be looking to build with K. Hovnanian again. ... More

Upon visiting the site, I prepared for the customer service to bad as when I visit others. But to my surprise I was greated with such positive energy from April and her team, they made me feel at home. The process was easy and they worked with till the closing. It went so smooth and fast I am still in shock. Closing was less then 3 weeks. Needless to say, we are glad to be a part of the community.

I had a great sales and home buying experience. Everyone kept me up to date and responded to my questions and concerns in a timely manner.

Taken as a whole, the experience was positive.

I like to thank Mike, Tonia Adam for their part in making the transition into our new K-hov home and new community relatively easy. They were there to answer questions and to help in any way they could. Kudos to Adam on insuring that the after-service issues are taken care of in a timely manner. I am pleased.

It was an amazing experience. Many of my friends had thought about the deadline to close and behold, it was finished on time. I love the master bedroom and the beautiful lawn and quietness.

I know KHovnanian from New Jersey they are one of the known builders so I have full trust on them. I buy my home online I never been in Texas before I purchase my home, but my sales manager Ms. Lacey made it easy she provides every information that needed, and I am happy with her service until now. I move to Dallas sub since work started in my building, so I am well aware each and every work progress and quality of materials used for building my home. Building material quality is good but the appliances what they provided are the poor quality I am hoping they should improve in this area they provided GE appliances of least quality not sure how long it last but not satisfied with it. Other than that, I have not had any issues during my home building and even after. I finance my home from them which makes my closing very easy also Warrant team so responsive I got very quick response and most of things fixed very quickly.
