The khov builder build the house with very reasonable market price.

Work of sub-contractors was sub par and became apparent after move in (paint dripped on carpet, grout missing in spots in bathroom, irrigation not properly installed, etc.) I know times are challenging in building currently, but for the price we paid for our home we feel a little cheated. Our close date got moved several times due to issues with labor, I guessed we figured the labor would be worth it but it wasn’t in the end. Communication was also lacking during the build process.

Lack of pride the staff at KHOV took in the brand I constantly had to remind them this is their brand and should have more pride. I mentioned that when viewing my home 1 week prior to the final walkthrough there was a bottle of urine in the master closet and the toilet looked so horrific I almost lost my lunch. I pointed out lack of quality in craftsmanship during the walkthrough obvious fixtures that were put in and not even straight and clearly visible to everyone who bothered to look at the work. In my master bathroom the shower seat was not straight had gaps between the wall. I feel KHOV does NO quality control. My home the stairs to the attic did not close I was told it would be corrected prior to close. It took 46 days to get this repaired after several calls filling out service orders and it became a comedy routine of let's try this or that and my personal favorite was bringing a tool over and asking me to see if I could get it to work. On the day I closed I got to my home so excited to put the key in the door and enter my home. Well that was another fail with a list of many. They changed the locks, but forgot to check to see if the keys they gave me worked on the door. Again basic quality control and common sense. I had always heard that KHOV was a brand you could trust I have not found that to be the case. Kitchen draws so misaligned they did not close correctly, half painted trim, missed paint on the walls and an overall lack of concern for the buyer. I originally thought it was a discrimination issue, but after hearing from other people in the neighborhood and reviewing each issue I came to the conclusion this is the way they conduct business. My advice if you are weighing options between a KHOV home and another builder go with the OTHER Builder. ... More

I really like the quality tile, flooring, fixtures, etc. available with the included smart home features. The house is well made, but the finishing was a bit underwhelming. Some door handles were installed crooked, door frames and baseboards were rough in some places and did not present a 'polished' finish. Patched sections of the ceilings and walls (from damage during construction,which is common) didn't look new even after a second pass. Early warranty claim was resolved, but required us to follow up weekly for updates. Overall, we really like the home and were pleased with the timeline during a period with significant supply-chain challenges. I would like to see KHov focus a bit more on high quality finishing-work, this is what a buyer is really going to notice. ... More

Sub par communication, had to take the initiative when asking for updates during the building process

Our sales rep Bina was Amazing and was in constant contact with us every step of the process. She made sure all of our needs were taken care of. She was the highlight of our entire home buying experience! Also, our building manager James made our experience throughout the process very easy and made sure we were satisfied from start to finish.

The experience was good until the end when I had to actually deal with my Construction Manager. Everything was to his standards time frame and no concern for the Customers input.

Everything from purchasing to building to living in our new home was an easy and exiting process thanks to K.Hov. Lacey our sales consultant was extremely helpful and made sure we got the house we always wanted. She was just as excited as we were every step of the way and sent us updates regularly. By the end of the process Lacey became like another family member that we got to share exciting updates with. Argelio our builder was also great! He would send us regular updates of our home and made sure that all of our concerns and questions were addressed. An excellent and prompt communications with Jared (Sales Consultant) have made a huge difference and very positive experience. He has provided an amazing customer service. Jared made the entire process, from initial purchase to final move-in very easy. We got detail weekly video updates. We were moving from a different state and were not able to see anything in-person. Jared had promptly addressed all our inquiries and sent proofs (pictures). K. Hovnanian builder's team has done a great job and we moved on-time with NO issues.

Great home family Is loving it

The experience with the challenges in the home building field had this process for a first time homebuyer very confusing and frustrating. The KHov team did ok with communicating the challenges, but could’ve done better.

What a great experience every step of the way. The sales team, the build team and the warranty team have been above and beyond. They all communicate extremely well individually and as a team. This was my first time building a home and we couldn't have asked for a better team or experience.

While somewhat disappointed in the quality for the price I paid, the quality of people that work for KHOV here in Liberty is top notch. I could not have been happier with my salesperson and home builder.

KHOV was great to work with. Construction Manager Jeff & Lacey in sales did a great job keeping us up to date with every process. Answered any questions we had in a timely manner. I would recommend a new home build with KHOV to anybody!

Worst first time homebuying experience for my family.

For 13 yrs, I worked for a homebuilder that also had their own mortgage company so this whole experience was pretty familiar. This time however I was the customer, not the loan processor !!

The home is wonderful. The initial construction lead was not forthcoming about timing delays. When he was replaced, everything seemed to get back on track.

Starting from sales to closing, I had every very bad experience and quality is very bad.. I might choose wrong option and i don't recommend for any one.. I see very poor architecture, workmanship, quality.. There were many damages and feel very poor quality materials and clearly reflect negligence of the builder. Dish washer is not event connected with power cable and with in two weeks in two baths we are using,, three lights are not working..
