I truly appreciate the way that K.Hovnanian felt like working with an extended family. I was inspired so much by the culture of the company that I want to hopefully join the team.

Home buying experience was excellent, from start to finish! Process was always made very clear, the team was always available and responsive to questions. Walk throughs were thorough and we did not feel rushed through. The quality and workmanship of our home is absolutely beautiful - even our 3rd party inspector commented on the quality of the finishing of our home. Any small concerns were addressed immediately - would 100% recommend KHov to other families, we couldn’t be happier with our decision.

We loved our entire experience with K. Hovnanian in Cane Crossing Estates. The sales staff here is beyond exceptional! They go above and beyond and treat you like family. K. Hovnanian American Mortgage folks were also fantastic and incredibly helpful during the entire process! Since we purchased a quick move-in home we did not have the ability to work with construction during the entire home process. However, they were excellent during the final walkthrough process! We absolutely love living here!

My homebuying experience with K. Hovnanian had several challenges. I haven’t been in my home for six months yet and have already had to replace the refrigerator water filter. I also had to repeatedly request repairs for my A/C, which was not properly installed, along with issues involving the smoke detectors and garage door. I would have preferred ceiling fans in all rooms, as that is an added expense now. There are also some community concerns—the Cloverdale entry sign could be improved, and the exit gate design is problematic. It opens in a way that can potentially hit your vehicle when you pull forward for it to open. All in all, it is a beautiful home, and I am beyond grateful—just hopeful that these concerns can be addressed and improved for future homeowners. ... More

Buying process was really quick and straight forward no hiccups..we have a beautiful home in which we love I just wish there was better appliances to match the price tag.other than that the properties are amazing and beautiful and the scenery and breeze on my back porch is amazing all season long. I wish we had a park instead of a pond something for families to do other than that it's plenty of space and the people are really nice we stick together and really help each other from lights to fencing.we don't regret our purchase..best home builders ever..we felt like family not just a check or a number we didn't even notice we were really purchasing a home lol..amazing ... We purchased one of their Jefferson homes with four bedrooms, and we absolutely love it. The living space is spacious and bright, and the quality of the materials used is top-notch. Amanda and Cody made the experience great. We had some hiccups along the way, but not because of anything they or K Hov did. If we ever buy another home, we would use K Hov again!

I bought my home in October 2025 and used my VA loan for the first time. The builder worked with a lending company that was very veteran-friendly, which made the process easy and straightforward. Everyone communicated well and kept things moving. The quality of the home exceeded my expectations, and I feel like I got great value. I’d definitely recommend this builder to other veterans, especially anyone using their VA benefits for the first time.

I closed on my new home on October 21st, and I can honestly say the experience was excellent from start to finish. This is my second home with KHovnanian Homes, and once again, they did not disappoint. The quality of the build is solid, well thought out, and beautifully executed. You can tell care was put into the details. The builder was professional, responsive, and made sure everything was done right. The sales team was just as impressive. They were knowledgeable, organized, and handled the entire process smoothly. The quality of the cabinets are not the best product. When I moved in the heat would not go past 66. I reported it and it took two requests and two days to rectify this issue. It was one of the coldest days in December. No apology or anything was given, however the young gentleman knew what the problem was and it was resolved within 30 minutes.

The home was an excellent value for the price, especially given the quality of construction. They provided a standard warranty, and their follow-up service after move-in was outstanding. Any small issues i reported were addressed quickly and professionally.

My experience was somewhat tainted by either an unexperienced or a lackadaisical sales person. Buying a home has enough details and frustrations without minor things coming up that the sales person agreed or said just to sound better and secure your business overall, I am happy with my home, but it was not a fluid experience.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a home from K. Hovnanian. From the very beginning of the sales process, there were promises made that were never honored. I was told that certain appliances—including a refrigerator, washer, and dryer—would be included with the home. This was not a verbal misunderstanding; Tyler L. explicitly confirmed this in writing via email. Despite this, neither Tyler nor K. Hovnanian followed through on the commitment. When I raised the issue with management, I spoke with Shelby, who offered only an apology. While I appreciate acknowledgment, there was no effort to resolve the situation or provide any form of compensation or incentive to make up for the broken promise. The lack of accountability and customer-focused resolution was very disappointing. The issues did not end there. After the walkthrough, I noticed multiple cosmetic and workmanship concerns, including poor paint work, loose screws, and generally sloppy finishing. The patchwork appeared rushed and unprofessional. When these concerns were brought up, the response was dismissive, essentially stating that “this is just how it is,” with no attempt to correct or improve the quality. For such a significant investment, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, craftsmanship, and customer care. Unfortunately, my experience reflected unmet promises, subpar attention to detail, and a lack of willingness to stand behind their commitments. ... More

The lawn was poorly laid, leaving uneven, unleveled areas. Some areas has holes covered by sod, creating a potential fall and injury hazard. There are several areas of the tiled floor that are uneven, indicating poor leveling prior to installation. Several areas along the base boards and tile has paint spotting that was not cleaned up prior to the completion of sale. It does not appear that there was any attempt to make-ready the house. In other words, the windows are all smeared, some door don't latch when pulled to, mulching of the gardens was half done. One garage door was without an opener. I've purchased other properties and have not seen this before. My move-in has only been about 4 months, and with work and limited time I've not been able to cover all aspects of the house. My wife and I have bought and sold 5 06 houses the past 30+ years. This is by far our favorite. No new build house is perfect, but this is the closest to perfection we have ever seen.

We had the best experience overall when we were buying our house this was our first time. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
