The layout and features are decent for the money. You get a radiant barrier in the attic, nice solid doors, and all the drywall corners are nice and rounded. Workmanship and responsiveness to issues leaves a lot to be desired though. For example different brands and colors of switches were used throughout the house. The tile is uneven with paint peeling off the edges. There are doors that have too wide of a gap at the bottom and don't latch. Outdoor grass is lumpy. It's a hassle to get them out to fix these sorts of things too and expect it to take weeks if not months.

Love my floor plan! Very comfortable and beautiful home.

I wish we had built our own home with good contractor.

It’s been a journey to our home and with KHOV everything fell in place just right. Highly recommended.

Lisa is a terrific sales person to deal with. Scott was a good building foreman that did a great job coordinating the build process and was really good at addressing the last minute touch up issues. Even after closing he was responsive to issues that needed his attention.

We purchased a home and process started fine but disappointed in craftsmanship and responsiveness. They took some shortcuts and it is evident in certain areas. As we submit the warranty items it takes a long time to get items addressed if they even do address them at all.

The sales rep was terrific, but the quality of workmanship in the home was very poor. Inside and out, there have been areas that needed repair. The Warranty group has been easy to deal with, just unexpected to have to deal with so many problems that were not seen during final walk through of home. Would I buy another home from this builder, NO!

When you want quality and class, you will get it at K.hov. They made buying a modern smart home easy.

This is the second time I bought property from KH. And this time is not that smooth. My first sales this time is Paul, and he didn’t let us know KH will have new section new my first property, so he tried to sell me the old section in the old area. We put the deposit, and later we found out the material they use for that property is terrible. So we just wanna they change them, but they said that’s approved by the county. Then we met Damaris, she is great and show me the new section. That’s what we want at the first time. Later we tried to get back our deposit, but they said there is nothing wrong with that house. Then we complain to the sales manager Amanda, she was very helpless and what she did is just covered Paul. Finally, we cannot get back the deposit but we still bought from Damaris. Overall a great experience with management and construction team

Too many issues with tile, doors, cabinets, sink, carpet for the home value, unfortunately not a good experience. Construction supervisor have been great taking care of too many issues

At the beginning of the buying process it was great, the sales person was very friendly and had great communication even after we signed the contract to purchase the home. The construction manager was also great throughout the building process and kept us up to date as he stated he would. We didnt hear from our sales person throughout the building process but just thought it was normal since there wasnt much to discuss since the house was being built. A couple of months before closing I come to find out that the sales rep was no longer employed and had been a month or so and no one had even reached out to me to notify me that I would be assigned a new rep until I tried to reach the sales rep and couldnt get a hold of them. I ended up walking into the sales office and come to find out that the rep was no longer there. After that the new rep Im pretty sure they were new at the company since most of my questions werent answered with confidence. I didnt hold that against them but just felt that I wasnt their customer. At closing we signed docs and headed back to the subdivision to pick up our keys which were given to us by the construction manager and that was pretty much it. I wasnt aware that an alarm system was included with our hoa fee and pretty much paid for another alarm company to come in and activate service until later on I found out I pretty much paid for a service in which was already included in the hoa fee due to no communication from a sales rep. I am pretty sure if my initial sales rep wouldnt have left the company the overall experience would have been way better however I understand things happen and that was out of my control but the way the handover happened was just something I was not happy with. ... It was a great experience with a very talented and experience team

I had an amazing experience overall. Especially Damaris and Mauricio made me feel at home. They ensured that everything was done and completed on time. And whenever I called the answered and answered all my questions appropriately. What was amazing was the fact that I had easy access to them whenever I had concerns or any worries.

I had no idea I would be able to purchase a new home until speaking with K. Hovnanian. They said yes and made the process easy. Step by step and walked with my family the entire time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Aside from having a wonderful realtor, this process could not have gone as smoothly as it did without the help of Ashley and Scott. At various points of the process from me expressing interest, to walking the home for inspections, and through closing, they remained available and helpful. My new home checks all of the boxes on my wishlist, and then some!

Quality ok. Many small issues are needed to correct. Master bathroom too small not good flows. Lacks of added amenities. Does not offer other add ons such as sprinklers, extended patio, guitters, back yard lawn etc.

This is my first home purchase and our sales representative, Ashley was amazing. She really made the process as easy and painless as possible. My only grief is that there was multiple damages to the wood floors and overspill in many areas. Thankfully, they were quick to respond to repair these issues.

From the first inquiry KHOV has treated me exceptionally well! They showed me appreciation and consideration from day 1. When I went under contract, Shelby and Gary took exceptional care of me. Even after I closed they checked on me to make sure I didn’t need anything! Absolutely wonderful. KHOV made my home purchase process so easy. Home was completed in stated timeframe. Lender was fantastic too! 5 stars!

This is my 3rd NEW construction home build. I was extremely pleased with the response from both my sales person and my construction manager. They were both amazing in the process and addressed each and any concern that I had/have. Home building is not perfect, but what counts is the eagerness to get the problems solved and corrected and they do it without an attitude. My construction Mgr, Cysco was so nice, professional and helpful. He was never ugly or impatient or anything but willing to address anything I was concerned about. I really appreciated that too. Buying a home is not only stressful but expensive these days. We could all argue for "what you are getting for the price issue" as the prices these days are shocking for our area but it us what it is and growth is a part of life. I could argue that there could be more items included " for the price" but they are not out of line from any other builder at this time with the challenges the builders have all had these last 2 1/2 years. I am also a seasoned real estate agent who has built many homes from scratch with my own clients. There are builders out there who cut corners and do not care about their home buyer's needs or concerns. Excellent sales person and construction manager

I had a great experience! My sales councilor was great and the builder was great he explained everything to me and made the walk through a smooth process.

Thank you to Ashley, who continuously kept me updated on the progress of my house throughout the entire process. Felt like she was honest and open throughout the process and was always easy to reach. Thank you Scott for your patience as we had to correct things a long the way. He always handled things quickly and without any push back. Great customer service throughout the whole process. Always available and quick to respond. Thank you Wyatt for helping when needed. Customer service was great by everyone I came across with KHov, even down to the mortgage loan officer Christi. The standard designs and finishes available are a lot higher quality compared to some other builders. However it would be nice to have more flexibility changing minor things in the floor plan as that seems like a good portion of the point of getting a house built instead of moving into a house that is already standing. For the most part everything turned out great. There were some things as far as the craftsmanship that I felt like could have been better but other than that I would definitely recommend. ... More
